My Journey

I am Columbus, 17 years old and I have a dream, and that is to explore the world. I now live here in Luis Village, a small village with my grandmother, Grose and her pet, Persy. When I was born in this world, I have not seen my parents, ever. Whenever I ask my grandmother about my parents, she always says that she doesn't know. She also doesn't say if they are dead and I noticed that she is trying to hide the truth so I don't force her. Only a small necklace and a ring are the things that my parents left me. Due to my curiosity, I decided to look for them and I told it to my grandmother. "Grandma Grose, I want to leave so I can look for my parents. If my parents don't want to look for me, I'll just look for them" "Not gonna happen. You know how dangerous everywhere is," she replied. Magic is everywhere. In this world, magic runs people's lives. Everyone has magic and I am the only exception. I don't know why but I don't feel that I am different from them. I can sense mana, the source of magic but I can't use magic. To fill my ability not to use magic, I trained physically. From running across a mountain, swimming in a raging river, and lifting large chunks of rock and trees, I gained a raw strength that surpassed that of a normal human. "Tskk..You're always like that. You haven't changed. Whenever I want to do something, I feel like you always stop me for unknown reasons." I saw that grandma Grose was sad because of what I said. I was a little angry with myself that even though I knew what she was going to say, I still forced myself to say what I wanted to say. So I went to the mountain to vent my anger. While I was practicing, I couldn't get out of my mind what grandma Grose's reason for forcing me to stay here in the small village. Because of my thoughts, I didn't realize that it was already night so I decided to go home. While I was walking, I heard a loud sound. It was an explosion. I noticed that it came from the place where my village is. I quickly went there and when I got there, I did not expect what I found, they were all massacred by a man standing in front of me and suddenly my anger went up when I saw that he was holding my grandmother by the neck "You know, your secrecy is pointless. If I were you, tell me where you hide what I'm talking about" "Who are you? Let go my grandmother. Why did you do all this huh!?" I said "Oops. I missed something. Since your grandmother doesn't want to talk, I'll just ask you hahahaha!! Where are you hiding the Dragon Seal? huh?" While he was saying that, he choked my grandmother to death. I don't know what happened. I was just stunned, shocked and silent and my vision suddenly went blank. When I woke up, it was already morning and the first thing that I see was the cold corpse of my grandmother. The unknown man was gone. There were only corpses and a pungent smell around. I was the only one left alive. I felt emptiness, I don't know why this happened. I cried as I asked my grandma"Grandma, you still haven't told me why my parents left me and why you don't want to let me have my dream". Meanwhile, the unknown man who was on the verge of death rested on the mountain "s**t. What's wrong with that kid. I don't sense any mana from him and yet I was the one who lost and on top of that, he left me dying!? But more surprisingly, how did he use magic exactly like mine? Ahh f**k"
