Circe's Letter
When Circe was young, well since she was born, strange things have always happened. she would make things appear out of nowhere and could makes storms happen when she was angry. Circe's parents had always found it weird and couldn't figure out what was happening with her. when she was 9 the occurrences happened more often than ever. on the day of her 10 birthday Circe received a packet in the mail containing some paper for admission to a school called "The School for Witches and Warlocks". Circe wondered if this had been a joke done by her mother or father. She went to her parents and confronted them about it, but they had no clue what it was. Circe had decided to read the rest of the contents. the first page stated:
"Dear Circe Malone, This letter has been sent to inform you of your admission to The School for Witches and Warlocks where you will be attending for school. School starts on September 12 and you should retrieve your school supplies by then, we hope to see you at this year,
Sincerely, Mrs. Yearlingly
Headmistress of The School for Witches and Warlocks."
Circe decided to look farther into the envelopes contents and found a list of supplies for her new school. She presented the letter and list to her parents, Both of her parents agreed that the school would explain why Circe has had these strange things go on around her, her entire life. Both parents agreed to buy Circe's new school materials and let her attend this new school. And so Circe and her parents went to buy her new school supplies, but there was a problem they had no clue on where to buy her supplies. Circe's parents searched everywhere for a*****e to buy Circe's supplies but after a long search they decided to return home for the night. Circe decided she wanted to send a letter back to the headmistress of her new school to ask where she could find her new supplies.
A few days after Circe sent the letter, she receives a reply from the headmistress:
. "Dear Circe Malone, it has occured to me than since you have no past witching relatives that you are not aware of these specific things, since this is the case your supplies will be provided for you when you arrive to our academy. Should you require anything from home you must bring it along with you. if you have any farther questions feel free to contact me,
sincerely, Mrs. Yearlingly Headmistress to The school for witches and warlocks. "
Circe was glad that this was the case, but a bit offended because the headmistress presented her as if she didn't know anything, but as she realized this was exactly the case. She knew absolutely nothing about this School of magic. a few weeks later it was time for Circe to depart for her new school, per the letter she received Circe went to the train station and looked for a train marked platform 3 1/4, but there was no platform. Circe was confused how was she to get on a train that simply did not exist. As Circe pondered what she should do now she overheard a woman talking to someone, "come on kids we can't be late the train leaves in a few minutes, platform 3 1/4 is this way follow me" Circe jumped up and looked around for the woman and spotted her, as she watched in surprise a child the woman was talking to disappeared through the brick wall. Circe was dumbfounded, She approached the lady cautiously and asked her "do you know how to get to platform 3 1/4?" The woman replied "well I sure do, you just walk right through this wall here and the train is on the other side. " Circe contemplated what she should so and the woman said "if your nervous dear best to run right at it and don't stop." This, made Circe's nerves jump and she got a little frightened "r-run right at the wall, but it's solid brick I would crash right into it ma'am" "I'm sure you won't" the woman replied, "and if you'd like I could go first to show you. " Circe nodded to the woman, and the woman turned around and backed away from the wall. The woman looked around then made a run for the wall, but right where she should of hit it the woman disappeared. Circe couldn't believe her eyes but this was real. She decided to gather the courage and made a run for the wall, 10 feet away, 5 feet away, 2 feet, right then she should've crashed but didn't instead she appeared on the other side of the wall right next to a huge train. The platform marker on the brick pillar near her read 'Platform 3 1/4'. Guess I made it Circe thought.
