The Hybrid's Dangerous Thirst

A human who stole

The mother walked out of the salon and looked around. She looked at the staircase going up and walked upstairs and then again started up walking through another hallway until she reached near a big door. She was on the top floor now. The floor of Jacob where no one is allowed. The floor where Jacob lives and he doesn't like anyone other than his staff to come there.

The mother opened one of a door unknowingly there, her eyes widened again as she saw lots of treasure looking boxes kept on the table in the room. They were full of gold coins, diamond and crystals. Goosebumps rose all over her body when she touched one of the box and opened it, revealing different designs of ornaments and crystals kept in the box.

“what is this place?” she gasped for the air as she turned in her place to look around in that room. “am I dreaming?”

It was difficult for her to accept that whatever she was seeing was real and not a dream. She was really standing in a hotel based in different dimension than her real world and was a magical one.

She looked at everything with a cunning glimmer in her eyes. The evil thoughts crossed her mind as she continued to walk in and see more and more of the treasure kept inside.

“If this isn't a dream then this is all real,” she held a necklace in her hand as she spike to herself. “And if it's reality then it means this is all real worth for crores!” she laughed.

The mother took a quick glimpse around her if anyone was there watching her, but there was no one behind. Her mind changed in a seconds from finding a job to stealing the treasure from the hotel she came to.

She forgot her promise to her daughter that she did a few hours ago. She forgot how her daughter pleaded her to not steal anything again and yet she was there stealing things to make money.

She quickly began putting crystals, lockets and different other pieces of jewellery into her pockets. Once the pockets of her overcoat were full, she left the room to go back home from the hotel by hiding herself from the security of the said hotel.

Jacob sitting on an armchair, in his cabin, playing with his pen, smirked. He knows if something bad happens or if a human walks inside his hotel. He could feel and see everything that happens in the hotel he has made. He knows that a human has come inside and has stolen his jewellery.

He was impressed with her finding a job in his hotel. But at the same time, he knew what her heart is like. He tested her cunning mind by showing her the real side of his hotel from the inside. And he wasn't shocked to see the human stealing his precious jewellery.

He didn't do anything rather than watch the mother what she was gonna do next. He again closed his eyes and saw how the mother was going out.

Manager Arran saw the mother taking quick steps as she walked passing by him in the hall towards the elevator.

“Did you see her? She looked different, didn't she?” the bartender raised a question while standing beside the manager.

“Isn't she a vampire or a ghost or someone else? I didn't see her doing check-in by the way,” the receptionist added as he walked and stood beside the manager and the bartender.

“Why was she walking like that? I mean as if she was hiding from someone?” the bartender was confused. “Or as if she was hiding something with her?” he added and shot a quizzical look to everyone standing beside him.

“She is a human,” the room in charge recognized who the woman was. He spoke up from their behind making them flinch and glance back at him quickly.

“I wonder how did she come into the hotel,” he added as he glared at the receptionist.

“Mr Jonas would have probably found out that a living soul is roaming inside the hotel. A vampire-werewolf hybrid can smell a human's scent from anywhere,” the room in charge began to explain to them. “Humans aren't allowed here except our manager and Mr Jacob's secretary. You know the results right?” he glared sharpened at the receptionist.

“It's my fault, what should I do now?” the receptionist pouted as he asked in turmoil. He has the responsibility to watch everyone who walks inside the hotel and make sure they have checked in.

He was tensed up guessing about what will happen next to him when his arrogant boss will find out about it. She shot a quick glance to her colleagues for help with puppy eyes and a pout.

“Don't look at us, pack your bags. It's your time to go now to your afterlife,” said the room in charge. He quickly walked away from there while the others did the same. They all know what will happen to them if they interfere in someone's else punishment.

Everyone knows the anger of Mr Jonas. If he wishes he can do anything to punish, and the worst thing he could do is to send one soul to the afterlife without his will to go there. And all the staff working has no intention or a death wish to go to their afterlife so early.

Everyone was working at his hotel for their own benefit and were really happy with that. Once they have seen how a waiter spill the food on his newly bought coat. Me Jonas was outraged by what he did and quickly sent him to the afterlife.

Mostly the ghosts with bad deed stays in Jacob's hotel only to wash away their sins. They want to be completely pure before they go there rather than burning in the hell fire.

The waiter was the worst man in his life and he knew he was definitely going to the hell where Mr Jonas didn't waste any moment for him to go.

The receptionist let out a gasp while looking at his colleagues walking away and leaving him troubled behind. He knows something will bad happen to him right now if he goes to his boss and apologises at this moment. He decided to meet him later when he would be in a better mood. The receptionist went back to downstairs and continued to work, welcoming his other guests.

Jacob let the mother go back to her house. He knows that the woman will come back, and he also knows about where the house is of that young woman. If he wants he can go right now to her place and suck the blood out of that woman completely until she dies, but he didn't do that. He was planning something else in his devilish mind.

As it's said if a human finds out about this place without having any powers to see the hidden world or the hotel, then it means it has something written in the destiny of both the owner of that place and the person who finds it out. Jacob wants to know about what was that thing written in his destiny with that woman who has a small baby.

The woman went back to her home, her daughter was sleeping peacefully on the mattress. The mother carefully walked into the kitchen taking quick steps and took out everything from her pockets that she stole from the hotel and placed it on the kitchen counter. They were some of the precious collections of Jacob he collected from the past thousands of years. He was furious sitting in his cabin, meanwhile, the mother of the baby was happy to see so many expensive pieces of jewellery.

She was excited to sell them one by one and clear all her debts. She even planned where to take a new home and in which school she must send her baby to study. She was even excited to go again to that place and bring more. Bring more jewellery and become richer than she was ever.

In the morning, when the birthday girl Braelym woke up, she was happy to see her home decorated with balloons, many gift boxes placed around the tea table and her favourite strawberry cake kept on the table. For a moment she thought she was dreaming. But as she pinched herself, she realised that she wasn't dreaming at all.

Her mother came late in the night but decided to buy her a lot of presents for her daughter to celebrate her fifth birthday.

“Belated Happy Birthday, my baby!” the mother wished her daughter. She didn't sleep well last night as she woke up early to go out and prepare everything for her daughter's birthday. She sold a few ornaments and kept them remaining in her home locker.

The little girl was very excited to celebrate her birthday that she began jumping in her place. “I love you, momma! You are the best! Thank you!” she said and ran towards her mother to hug her tight.
