Unexpected Love

" Uhmm" I grumbled as I rolled over on my other side. Light beams crept into my room as my mom drew open the blinds. " Good morning cupcake " she said ruffling my hair as I sat up on the bed and let her peck me. She leaves the room and I hear her footsteps going "thud, thud, thud" as she descends. I stand up lazily and go through my normal routine of stretching. I head to the bathroom to perform my usual routine. I get showered and I put on a casual bumshort and the map of West America T-shirt my Aunt Ellen got me for my last birthday and a pair of blue slippers. I hurriedly go downstairs as I was so hungry. I go to the kitchen, set my breakfast on the counter. I pull a chair and dig in hungrily into my breakfast of blueberry muffins and a cup of hot choco. As usual, Dad was in the living room with his New York Times Morning Paper. "What! Are the Yankees crazy , he shouted without noticing my presence .How would they think of paying Dave Melbourne $420,000 per week, someone who can't even swing a bat". He concluded noticing my shuffling of feet. " Morning Dad,I said walking past him to sit on the single opposite sofa. "Yeah Babe, how was your night?,he asked taking a long sip of his coffee . " It was cool" I said when mom screamed. "Help"with the sound coming from Alex's room. We both ran upstairs taking two steps at a time. I got there first in time to see the situation. Mom was already giving him the C.P.R. " Ewww" I said as I caught a flicker in mom's eye. I dashed downstairs to the phone. I grabbed it and dialled the Emergency number. "Hello " I said as the receiver answered. "Yeah" a shrill voice replied. "Please your attention is needed at the Real Haven Estate on the 24th house please be fast " I said in between pauses. And you may bring an ambulance with you". "Pheww" I exclaimed while wiping my forehead. When............................ "Stephanie" my mom screamed at the top of her lungs.( I love my mom's accent. She is a French American so I guess that makes me partly French). "WTF" I said lowly. "Am coming". "Who did you call" she asked. "I called 911. I replied. Who else? Maybe my boyfriend ?" I said with a twinkle in my eye. "Very very funny Stephanie" I heard a familiar voice say. " Alex!!!" I screeched turning to him who had walked out of the room unnoticed. I walked towards him with an open arm in readiness for a hug. I squeezed him tightly as he reluctantly accepted. " Okay, what's going on"my twin brother Andrew said as he walked in looking all sweaty with his six packs poking through his tight vest. "Well Alex just had one if His Asthmatic Emergency situations again." Mom said as she left for his room. Andrew turns and leaves to his room. And i am left there all alone. ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★ Today was the first day of school at Regales High School. We had moved a few weeks ago. I had caught my boyfriend Max cheating on me with my arch enemy the school w***e Emily. I had broken up with him and luckily dad got a new job and we moved to Jacksonville. "Gring,Gring , my alarm rang . " Urgh" I groaned hitting the snooze button for about the third time. But unluckily for me,mom came in and tossed me a pillow. I stood up and trod lazily to the bathroom to perform my morning rituals. I came out clad in a dazzling white towel. I selected an outfit from my walk in wardrobe. I quickly blow dry my long almond brown shoulder length hair applying the needful where necessary. I let it fall covering half of my face. I knew I looked nerdy but hey I didn't give a f**k. Not wanting to be showy, I chose an orange print crop top and a knee length blue skirt and a pair of my fav sandals not forgetting to put on my pearls and bracelet. I go down to have breakfast flipping my pancakes in a pan and whoola breakfast was ready I made a cup of hot tea to take it with. I finished quickly knowing Andrew didn't waste time. He came down five minutes later packaged his food in a zip lock bag and we both left for school in his Audi car. I walk to the secretary's office like I knew my way around to get my school stuffs. I met a young pretty woman sitting on a nice soft cushion with a laptop on her hand. I looked round and was amazed at his furnished the office was. "Hey there pretty, you must be Stephanie Davies" she said looking up from the laptop. "Yes I am" I answered. "Okay you are welcome to Regals High School. Am Miss Jones. Here come and have your school map, schedule and locker key."(in case you forgot your locker password) She said with a broad smile on her face. " Thanks" I said taking them at once and walking out a of the office. I took the flight of steps up and as I passed I heard students muttering slowly and I saw some turning their heads to look at my while I passed. I located my locker and punched in the 4 digit code and got my books in order. I put them into my backpack and walked swiftly when I thought I collided with a wall. Wait wall don't have hands I said looking up to see this Handsome broad shouldered cool guy who looked like a s*x god. "Sorry about that " he said and trying to be nice he bent down to help me pick up some of my books which had fallen down as a result of our collision. Our hands touched twice when we were picking them . "Thanks" I said as I walked down the hallway and took a deep breath and entered.
