Chapter 47: Alvarez cousins

“You look pretty under me. As always...” Alvarez whispered in my ear as he grabbed my hands and placed them above my head. “Ahh—! Hngh...! Oh, Gray...” He hissed as I repeatedly called his name out, his figure hovering above me as he thrusted at a pace that I would call ungodly. Covered in a sheen of sweat, our clothless bodies collided in a beat that only two connoisseurs of a newly invented genre of music had conjured. As I managed to open my eyes, I found him staring down at me, his gaze more intense than ever. And as I called out his name and cried under him, his pace turned rougher as if it already wasn’t. “Too…rough…!” I cried out as I dug my nails into his bare back. “You’re so damned sexy…” he whispered as he leaned down and kissed my neck. “You always do this on purpose, you vixen.” I absentmindedly arched my back and grabbed his hair aggressively as I felt my release coming, my mouth spitting incoherent noises out. With Alvarez moaning and groaning in my ear, I just… Darn it. Alvarez fell onto me as soon as he had his release, our chests heaving from how intense it was. I was about to close my eyes and let him handle the aftercare again… “Why…” I trailed off as my face began to flush while looking at Alvarez, who was chuckling as he buried his face in my chest. “Why are you hard again?!” “Oops.” My legs began to stiffen as he slowly climbed up, ferociously kissing me as if he hadn't gotten enough of me. Well, I’m sure that’s why he’s still…that hard. I gave in. But, of course, I’d like to make it a little more fun. He likes it messy? I’ll show him a real mess. I smiled in between the kiss and gently pushed him back on the bed, with me now on top of him. Neither of us wanted to let go of the other’s lips, so I began to move my hips up and down his c**k. “Oh, Diaz…” he muttered my name like a prayer as he guided me, his head thrown back against the pillow with his eyes closed. Damn… He looks…sexy from up here. I can clearly see his muscles contracting with the slightest move, his chest heaving. That was how we spent the night, distracting each other from the grave dangers we could be facing outside Alvarez’s penthouse. Before completely falling asleep, the last thing I heard was him calling personnel that could guard us for the night. And now that I’m awake, there are men I couldn’t recognize sitting on the couch. They seemed to be discussing important things with Alvarez, but I couldn’t quite understand what was going on. Before they could turn to see me, while only being covered in the blanket Alvarez had wrapped me in, I had already entered the bedroom again. I didn’t know there’d be people out there! This is the first time I’ve seen those men, who were probably the same age as Alvarez. “Diaz…!” he exclaimed as soon as he entered the room. “Are you okay?” “Yeah, they probably didn’t see me…” I replied while I strutted across the bedroom, dragging the blanket. He sighed and sat on the bed, tapping his thigh to gesture to me to sit there. “Sorry about my cousins.” Cousins? I had no idea he had cousins of the same age as him. The last time I remember, he was a loner within the Alvarez clan. Although they are a pretty big family, he’s never been seen with any of his relatives. I tilted my head to the side and approached them, allowing myself to indulge in the familiar feeling of being in his embrace. I slowly sat on his lap, with only the blanket covering my entirety. “How was your sleep?” he asked as he wrapped his arms around mine, almost seemingly a memory inscribed within his muscles. “Good. I slept well…” I replied softly, my voice almost turning to a mere whisper. “I didn’t know you were close to your cousins.” “No one knew. We’ve been keeping a low profile for some time now.” I nodded and nuzzled my face on his neck, still half-asleep. “I see. What are they doing here?” “Just discussing important information. Are you okay? Want coffee?” “Yeah.” “Does it hurt?” I looked up at him just so I could glare at him. “What do you think?” He chuckled. “I know, I know. I’m not sorry, though.” “You asshole. I told you to go slower.” “Oh, were you? I thought you told me to go faster.” “I did not!” Maybe I did. Uh… Yeah, I did. “Anyway…” he drawled as he drew small circles on my waist with his index finger. “I’ll whip you a cup of coffee. Go and get dressed first.” I nodded and got off him, letting the blanket fall off my body without a care in the world. As I strutted towards the toilet, I heard Alvarez let out a deep sigh, as if he was in the middle of a dilemma I was not aware of. Meh. I shrugged and mindlessly went inside the toilet with my towel. As I was about to do my morning routine, I passed by the window and saw the purple bruises Alvarez’s kisses had left on my skin. Damn. “If I’m going to leave a hickey, I might as well do it right…” was what he said last night when I told him to go easy on the marks. In the end, I pushed him to mark me as his’ for as much as he wanted to. And now, there are bite and kiss marks present all over my body, from my neck down to my legs. Damn, he really enjoyed his meal… A small smile escaped from my lips as I began to clean myself up. He had already done it for me last night before I fell asleep, but I’ll redo it anyway. Alvarez is bad at doing aftercare, but he’s always done his best when he tries. As soon as I was finished, I went out to greet his cousins. I’m already familiar with them because I’ve seen them in some news and content wherein the Alvarezes were involved. “It’s a pleasure to finally meet you in person,” Sky Alvarez told me with a thrifty smile plastered on his pretty face. I smiled and accepted his hand before formally introducing myself. And that was when the ever-infamous Alistair Alvarez interfered. He introduced himself, his tone as cheeky as I had imagined it to be. A fake smile was plastered all over my face as he tried to joke around with me. I wasn’t sure whether that was just how he spoke with the people around him or if he was openly flirting with me. I couldn’t tell at all! Moments later, Sky Alvarez finally came in between us and began to ask me about how his cousin had been treating me. It was…a pretty common question. It’s as if I have rehearsed it countless times already and had finally achieved mastery with regard to that part of the script. As soon as he did so, my husband stood beside me and pulled me by my waist. It was then that tension had begun to build up between all of us again. Damn it, why am I here? “Quit messing with her,” Alvarez told the two with the most menacing tone I’ve ever heard him use. Ever. “We’re not,” Sky defended as he raised his hands in surrender, smiling. “Maybe Al was, but not me. As you can see, I’ve been behaving well.” “Shut up.” I smiled at the two, then sat on the seat Alvarez pulled for me. It seemed like he woke up early because the two had notified him of their arrival. Well, thankfully, he awoke earlier than me. During weekends, it’s normal for me to get up first! Honestly, I’m surprised he woke up during the morning at all! The four of us ate, but for the first time in weeks, it was loud. Since it used to be just Alvarez and me, there were barely any sounds made while we were eating together. But right now… “I already told you to put that project on hold, even if it’s just for a short while,” Sky spoke up all of a sudden. “And I told you to keep yourself out of my problems.” Problem…? Alistair sighed and looked at me. “Does your wife know?” What? I looked at the three of them, one by one, confused. With that, it seemed like Alistair and Sky had confirmed their suspicion that I was still unaware of. Meanwhile, my husband was busy savoring his meal instead of dealing with these two. To be completely honest, I’m still terrified of everyone after the incident last night. I never got any news from Vin because he reported those directly to my father and Alvarez. Damn, I feel like I’m intruding… All I did was listen to them discuss things that involve me, yet somehow, I am unable to speak up. Or more like, Sky and Alistair are lecturing Gray, who’s not even listening to either of them. “You two came here to mess with my wife. Stop f*****g around.” I was shocked to hear what he said because I was simply eating quietly. Neither of the two was talking to me as well, so I didn’t understand. I wanted to defend the two, but they suddenly laughed as if they were confirming what Alvarez had just told me. Alvarez slowly put his utensils down and glared at the two, who looked overjoyed upon eliciting their desired response from the former. Perhaps it was something only the three of them could understand. So then, what am I doing here? “Diaz,” he whispered as he reached for my hand under the table. “No matter what happens, don’t listen to them.” “Why?” “Only lies come out of their mouths,” he replied before continuing to eat. I had no idea what kind of person the two were, so I thought I should just listen to Alvarez. He knows them better anyway! However, I have to form my own prejudice about them… They seem harmless and much nicer than Alvarez. But still, there’s something off about them. I couldn’t quite point my finger at what it was, though. Sky smiled and placed his utensils down, then smiled at us. “Come on now! You’re way too uptight. We’re simply here to talk to you about these things.” “If that was the case, you would have just called me…” Alvarez trailed off as he flashed a mocking grin. “Yet for some reason, you’re here in my place, observing us carefully. Neither of you can fool me, and you both know that.” “We were messing with you two, that’s it,” Alistair replied, still busy eating. “Gray, you were never fun to be with, so we were simply wondering how your wife is being treated here.” “f**k you.” “Likewise.” Alvarez sighed and leaned back on his chair, his left hand gently caressing my thigh. “Was it Red who sent you?” “Bingo!” Alistair replied, smiling mischievously. “He said he wanted to visit you himself, but his schedule won’t allow it.” “And that’s why he sent us. I hope that’s clear now.” I thought that was the end of it, but Alvarez had a hopeful look on his face. It was as if he was waiting for something, yet Sky had already gotten quiet. Meanwhile, Alistair was trying to talk to me, even with my husband’s hand all over me. Damn it, he seems like he’s about to get his last string of patience cut… All of us had finished our meals, but they were still busy trying to discuss their own points with each other. Up until now, I was still clueless. “You’ve got to go back to the mansion! Bring your wife with you.” “I already told you idiots that I’m not going back. I’ll stay here for as long as I need to.” Sky sighed and stood up. “You know what, I’ll get straight to the point. We want you to come back.” “No. And that’s final. You two can leave now.” “Alvarez…” I muttered as I held onto the hem of his shirt to make sure he didn't cause more trouble. “It’s fine, Diaz. I just need these two to leave right this instant.”
