Harmony walked out on the porch of the cabin and closed her eyes, letting the sun hit her face. She hadn’t been here in nearly a year and had missed the solitude and serenity. Taking a deep breath and slowly letting it out, she opened her eyes, then settled on the rocking chair. Despite the cool September morning, she knew the temperatures should soar high today, so she would enjoy the cool dawn while she could. She watched a family of peacocks step out from the edge of the woods and into the sunlight. The male fanned his beautiful feathers and strutted around as if he knew Harmony watched.
