Escape

The shadow was surprised  "hmm" He realized that she broke his tentacles

"i'm your opponent" she gathered her mana and waved her hands at the shadow as extremely large amount of wind blades flow at him but the man dismissed it easily while smirking "is that all what you got" but then realized a strong movement in the wind around him , he was surprised "your target wasn't me" he saw a large tornado forming and moving towards him

"don't make it more difficult on yourself Anna!" he shouted but Anna didn't stop her attack but continued to pour more wind blades then ignited a large ball of fire in the middle of the tornado making it rage with wind and fire so becoming more destructive she didn't wait to see the result as she headed towards Bill quickly , she took him in her embrace and escaped extremely fast with her wind technique towards the forest and didn't look back

but she didn't hear the explosion she anticipated to hear but instead heard "Anna!!!"

she knew that the two of them couldn't escape like this as she heard a movement from behind quickly approaching in their direction she quickly said "Bill you have to run to the eastern direction as quickly as possible mommy will follow you later"

Bill panicked as he saw fear on his mother's face "No i can't leave mommy alone like that!'

"you must listen to me" she suddenly shook from fear as the shadow closing the distance between them in a short amount of time "Don't think about escaping this time" the shadow was very close even though Anna was moving as fast as she could, she suddenly said "i will leave you here Bill so run to Eastern direction and take this with you" she gave him a necklace "i will be fine just escape" she said while tears filled her eyes and then ran to the shadow's direction 

Bill was crying with his eyes swollen "No i must escape and mommy will meet with me later she will be fine " he ran with all he could to eastern direction while hearing the sound of battle behind him it lasted for more than two hours until it grow very faint and couldn't hear anymore from that direction so he felt worried but continued to run while himself that his mother should be fine and will meet with him later so after three hours of running he grew tired and his movement slowed down until he collapsed to the ground the last he saw was a person standing in front of him he muttered "mommy..." then fainted

he wake up in a strange room that he saw for the first time and he felt underneath him being soft it was a comfortable bed he was surprised "where am i? where is my mother? could she have returned and saved me?" during this while he saw the door being opened and a tall man with broad shoulders he was wearing a white cloak that covered half his face his distinguishable character was the ruthlessness in his eyes that he saw Bill awake so he said "you were unconscious when i found you"  his voice was deep, Bill then replied "where is my mother?" the man was surprised "your mother?"

"she said she will meet me after i escape" the man shook his head " i don't know anything about it"

Bill panicked "i will have to save her" he got up and then was going to the outside but the man stopped him "if you were talking about the battle that happened near the cave then it has already ended but unfortunately there was no one there when i have arrived"

Bill said in a shaky voice "then what happened to my m-mother?"

the man patted him on the head and said "she might be waiting for you to meet her"

Bill was happily surprised "Really!"  the man put something that look like soup on the table beside the bed while replying "of course" Bill was going to ask him where is the location of his mother but the man interrupted him saying "but under one condition and that is to have strong cultivation"

this reply confused Bill even further and he realized something "But you said you haven't seen my mother how did you know that she is waiting for me?" the cloaked man said while turning to face Bill  "that is because anyone that meet these people will die unless they have the power to defend themselves but i didn't find your mother there which means she was kidn*pped"

Bill was worried and angry "who are they?! how i get to them!" he was waving his fists " i will KILL them all!" the man was seemingly pleased "that's the spirit but hold it their and don't be rash you should accumulate strength and cultivate hard if you want to face them"

Bill was calmed "then can you teach me sir?"

The man nodded "But i have to test your magic affinity first"

"but i haven't turned six yet it will be a month later " the man replied "then we will wait for a month"

Bill said hurriedly" But mother.." the man looked at him but his facial expression was hidden behind the cloak "don't worry if they kidn*pped her then she has a certain value to them so they wont hurt her" Bill didn't know why but when he heard his words he was reassured "then we will wait for a month without doing anything?" the man replied "no i will give you a breath training that will help you circulate the mana inside your body and be more familiar with it"

Bill agreed "okay!" the man pointed to the soup "drink this medicine first then come find me when you are finished" then he left through the door

Bill said while clenching his small fists "i will rescue mother and deal with those bad guys who dared to harm her" he looked at the necklace that his mother gave to him before he escaped then murmured "i will train hard".
