Chapter 13

~Ellie~ Everyone was silent, after Jasper announced I was pregnant, no one said a word. All eyes where on me, with his father's directly on my stomach. "Jasper, is what you say the truth?" His mother asked, stepping around his father. "Yes mom, she was confirmed  by a pack doctor." Jasper said, placing his hand around me. "How do we know it was not a trick!" His dad spoke up. "Because it was my old packs doctor who was called in." Caroline said, not looking scared of King Baknor at all. "Who might you be, I have not seen you before?" He asked. " My name is Caroline Gabriel sir." She bowed a little bit. "Gabriel, hm, you are from that pack of wolves out east, how did you manage to get caught up in this?" He looked at her. "James is my mate." She said, her eyes resting on James back. "I see." He turned his attention back on Jasper and I. I froze, afraid of what was to come next. "If what you are saying is true Jasper, we have to allow her to stay." His mom said. A sense of relief washed over me, his mother was offering me her protection. "Mary, we cannot allow that, not after everything this girl has caused." His father said coldly, his eyes never leaving mine. "Peter, this isn't just our son anymore, this is our grandchild, I cannot allow anything to happen to the baby." She said, taking careful steps towards me. I was still frozen in place when she stepped infront of me. Her eyes where the same colour as Jasper's and I was captivated. "What's your name dear?" She asked, I knew from previous experience that she knew my name, but I still whispered it anyways. "E-Ellie." I said quietly. The women gave me a soft smile before stroking my hair. "My son, and the pack has put themselves in grave danger for your sake, you must really be someone special, I'm sorry we did not step in sooner, and did not give you a chance." She said, still playing with my hair. "N-No, don't apologize madam." I whispered again. Jasper was hovering protectively around me still but he seemed to have relaxed. "From this day forward, you will be one of ours Ellie, you and my grandchild will live with us forever." She wrapped her arms around me, and I felt at ease. "Mary!" His father said loudly. "Peter, I have made up my mind, we cannot turn them away, we may loose Jasper in the process, and I'm NOT giving up my son our grandchild!" She said firmly. After a moment of silence, his dad grunted in agreement. Jasper smiled, really smiled in what seemed like forever and hugged me tightly. I let the tears pool out, was this really over for us, where we finally free. "Although a nice reunion, her freedom is not yours to offer, she is still wanted in our kingdom." Lase said. I turned my attention to him, almost forgetting he was there. "He's right." A voice said, sending chills down my spine. My eyes dragging over in time to see the Queen, King and Alexandria coming to view. My body froze, and I couldn't bring myself to move, or to even speak. The Queen looked the same as I remembered her, a scowl on her face as she rested her eyes on me. "You are not taking her." Jasper growled. "But we are Prince Baknor, Ellie is ours, she belongs to us, and must pay for what she has done." The queen said, my eyes finally moving to Alexandria. "Ellie, h-how could you." She whispered. "Alexandria, I'm sorry." I whimpered . "Sorry! You are not Sorry! You shameful girl, you w***e! you ruined everything!" The Queen yelled. I never felt so small, I honestly felt like I was shrinking. Alexandria's eyes peered over to Elijah, and I could automatically feel the connection. My eyes resting on Elijah, his face, his body language, I can tell that he just found his mate with her, his mate. I tried to stop panicking, this may be a good sign. "Lase, take her, and then we will discuss the wedding as planned." The Queen said. Lase nodded and walked over to me. I hid behind Jasper as he prepared to defend me again. "Mom STOP!" Alexandria screamed. I have never been more relieved to hear that shrill voice in my whole entire life. "What is it now Alexandria." She rolled her eyes and turned her attention towards her daughter. "I-I can't go threw with it, I cant marry Jasper." She stuttered. I tried to hide my smile, I would really have to thank Elijah for being here later. "Why not! This is what we needed to happen!" She screamed at her. "Mom, Jasper will never love me, nor will he stop fighting for Ellie, killing her would only disturb the peace, I'm sure there is some other way to gather it." She stated. The Queen turned her attention to me once more, rolling her eyes and looking disgusted. "Alexandria, are you sure this is what you want?" She asked, a hint of annoyance in her tone at her daughters actions. "Yes Mother." She bowed to her. "Whatever, Lase, grab the boys we are going home. King and Queen Baknor, good luck, you'll hate having her." She spat, clearly pissed that she lost. She turned away and started walking back. I ran over to hug Alexandria before she could leave. "Thank you, thank you so much." I cried, hugging her tightly. "Ellie, you have been one of the truest friends I've ever had, please, be safe with your mate, and I will be with mine." She hugged back before running off to her mother. James was the first one to start the cheering, the others joined in. I ran and jumped into Jasper's arms. For once, we will be free, and happy. I was finally going to be able to start my life with my mate properly, and I was so grateful. I kissed him tenderly, not caring who saw. I let all the joy flow out of me, I couldn't believe it. Jasper placed his hands on my stomach. "You hear that baby, Mommy and Daddy will be okay." I smiled and touched his face. ~Jasper~ We WON! I Couldn't believe it, I was walking hand in hand with my beautiful Ellie back to the kingdom. I was ecstatic to show her my home, the place where I and now my baby would grow. My Dad, still not speaking but I could tell was not happy with this. "Jasper, don't worry, he'll come around." My mom gave my hand a light squeeze. She has refused to leave my side the whole way home, chatting with Ellie as well. I was so happy she approved of my mate. Once I got home, it was like I never left. I scooped Ellie up and carried her to my room. She was shocked at the size, claiming to never see a space so big! "Ellie, remember, this is all yours too. I know you don't have much, maybe you and Caroline can take a shopping trip soon." I smiled, facing her. "J-Jasper, thank you so much, for all of this. For fighting for me, and loving me and choosing me to be your mate." She cried, hugging me tightly. I could feel the joy and utter love this women had for me. I knew it had been hard, and their may be times where it wont be easy, but I was prepared to spend every single day with her. It's odd to think, not to long ago I was content on never finding my mate, in just being forced into a loveless marriage. Now, my world revolved around Ellie, and our unborn baby. I never knew my heart could feel so much love. I never knew that this existed. I knew what must be done now. I had to seal us together for all time, I needed to make Ellie, Ellie Baknor.
