Chapter 12

~Ellie~

Everyone had shifted back  to human forms, an it gave me a chance to fully look at the men before us. They were defiantly part of our kingdom. I recognized Lase, he was the Queen's bodyguard, and extremely powerful wolf, one I always feared.

"Hello Jasper Baknor." He spoke, crossing his arms. Although he spoke to Jasper,he never took his eyes off of me.

"Hello." He said coldly, almost spitting the words out.

"Now, I'm assuming if you are on the run, you know why we are here, hand over Ellie." He demanded, what a silly demand, as if Jasper would give me up so easily.

"No." He said, guarding me. Elijah and Lucas stood at his side, Caroline wrapped her arms protectively around me. I didn't realize until she did so that I was shaking. I never felt so terrified in my whole life. This could be it, could this really be my final moments.

"Now come on Jasper, I don't want to hurt you, but I am under orders to execute Ellie." A low warning growl tore through Jasper's entire body.

" I said, no." He growled.

"Jasper, I am not under any orders to kill you, but I will if I have too." Lase challenged him. The boys tensed up. They were prepared to die for me, for us.

"You think you could get away with that, remember Jasper's father is the main king of these lands,your kingdom is a lowly one, do you think King and Queen Baknor would let you live if anything happened to him." Elijah started to laugh. That seemed to set a bomb off in Lase and he let out a growl.

"I am under my orders, and I will complete them. Ellie is nothing but a w***e, a no good b***h who destroyed any chance of peace by stepping between Jasper and Princess Alexandria." Lase yelled.

"You do not, talk of my mate like that." Jasper threw the first punch and it seemed to just set everything into motion. Everyone shifted into their wolves, and a fight broke out. Caroline held me back , protecting me and my unborn child at any cost.

"Ellie, it'll be okay." I watched as the three where out numbered.

"They are outnumbered Caroline and we cant even help!" I cried, stifiling a scream as Lase bit into Jasper's leg.

"Not for long."  Caroline l smirked. I looked up just in time to see James and the rest of the pack jumping over our head.  They tore into the rest of the men, but it seemed like with numbers on our side, we were still loosing.

"Caroline, someone will die because of me." I whispered, choking on my own tears.

"Ellie, don't think of it like that, if it came down to it, Jasper would do the same for James and I." Caroline stood infront of me.

Then it happened,

Almost like slow motion

Or time Stopping.

No one could predict it.

One moment, Caroline was standing infront of me, reassuring me, next she was flying through the air, and crashing into a near by tree.

"CAROLINE." I screamed, Grabbing the attention of every wolf. James whipped his large head around, and howled loudly when his eyes rested on Caroline's body. I rushed over to her, just in time to get out of the way of James ripping apart the member who did this to her.

"Caroline, are you okay." I said, taking her into my arms, this was all my fault. Caroline's eyes fluttered open.

"Hmm, Ellie, yes Im fine." She said sitting up. James came over and nudged her with his head.

"James, I'm fine go." She reassured him, James went back to help the pack fight. I watched in complete horror as Jasper was about to get his throat ripped out.

"ENOUGH!" I heard a loud yell. I turned my head to see King and Queen Baknor entering. Every wolf stopped, fearing the king.

"What is this." He demanded. I hid behind Caroline again, watching as one by one everyone shifted back.

"Jasper." His mom whispered.

"Hi Mom." He said back to her. His father looked , absolutely terrifying. I was shaking.

"Jasper what is the meaning of this! You ran away with no word, we have not seen you in over a month! do you know how worried you made your mother!" He yelled. I flinched when his eyes landed on me, a look of pure hatred all over it.

"I told you, I would be with Ellie." Jasper said, refusing to back down.

"I told you to reject her! Look at all this mess you and that b***h caused! We wanted PEACE, and now we are getting anything but!" His dad yelled.

"You, Will, Not, Speak , Of, Her, That , WAY!" Jasper yelled, inching closer to his father. I moved closer to the men with Caroline.

"We are leaving NOW, Ellie will be going back with Lase, and she will face her punishment for her doings." His dad grabbed Jasper.

"No, I will not be leaving her, look at her father, I have already placed my mark." He said. King Baknor's eyes rested on my neck, and I felt so small. I wanted to crawl into the ground and hide.

"You selfish BOY! What have you DONE!" He roared. Jasper walked back until he stood by my side.

"Father, I met my mate, she is a strong shewolf, and I will be with her, whether you like it or not." He wrapped his arm around my waste, and I tried to remain calm.

"Jasper, why." His mother spoke.

"Mom, she is my mate, she is my love." He whispered, kissing the top of my head.

" Jasper you are coming home!" His dad said again.

"Not without her, if Ellie is not by my side,  I will not go. I will fight for her and if that costs me my life then so be it." He said.

"Jasper , please no." His mom teared up. My heart was breaking for his mother. I could tell she deeply loved and cared for him and was not willing to loose him.

"Mom, I don't have a choice, I am inlove with her." He said, trying to reason with them.

" Jasper what do we need to do." His mom spoke.

"Offer your protection to Ellie, allow her to be with me freely, no more running or hiding, let us come home." he said.

"Jasper, look at the pain you are causing your mother." His father looked even angrier with each passing second.

"Well, I am not leaving father, not only is Ellie my mate, bonded to me by the fates and the mark I placed on her, she is also the mother of my unborn child." He said, placing his hand on my stomach.

His mother cried out

His father looked, well the angriest he has ever looked.

Lase looked completely disgusted.

I felt like I was about to vomit everywhere.
