Chapter 10 Elena graciously and elegantly walked in the company around nine am; she was late due to last night events with Natalia. She really didn't mind being because she owned the company. As she finally walked in her office and got comfortable putting her things away, she picked up the phone for her secretary to contact Natalia. The phone ran about five minutes later. "Ms. Chester, Ms. Allen did not come in to work she called in sick this morning" Elena's secretary indicated. Elena just hung up the phone and sighed. She really needed to speak to Natalia and talk about what happened last night. Elena was worried and felt guilty of what happened, she didn't really think that Natalia would just walk out of her estate by foot. Not knowing if she got home okay, she started to worry in the middle of the night adding to her guilt that she was already feeling towards the programmer. Elena also analyzed all these new feelings and emotions. Why the guilt and why should she have concern for her. She had an internal battle with herself due to Natalia. Elena rose from her desk and made her way to the camera room; as soon as she entered she changed the screen to see the computer department, and to make sure that she really was not there and she was not. All the programmers were there doing their tasks.  She returned to her desk and took out her phone from her purse and looked for Natalia's number, but instead of making the call or texting her, she just looked at the name and debated whether she should call or not. Her heart wanted to call but her brain indicated that she should not. She decided not to call and put her phone back in her purse. She decided that she would not be able to work today since it's been an hour and all she could do is think of Natalia and how to get her to talk to her so she decided to cancel all her meetings and decided to go to her house. About thirty minutes later she was walking in her estate and her Butler Albert came to her. "Ms. Chester I didn't expect for you to be back so soon, are you ok?" Albert said following her in her office and full of concern. It was rare for her to miss a day of work since she started. "She didn't go into work Albert" Elena said sighing as if looking for advice. "Are you talking about Ms. Allen?" Albert said. "Yes, she never misses work and because of me she was absent" Elena said sadly. "May I sit Ms. Chester?" Albert said pointing to a spot next to Elena on the couch in the office. Elena just nodded, Albert to her was like the closest person to a family member she had since her parents died and he was the one person she trusted. To her his advice was important since she knew he viewed her as a daughter. Apart from a butler he was a friend to her parents even though he worked for them he was always considered part of the family. Albert sat down next to Elena. "Do you care for her?" Albert asked; Elena nodded. "Are you having feelings for her?" Albert asked. "That's the thing, I don't know what I'm feeling" Elena said. "I have different emotions towards her; I find myself thinking of her most of the day. I get butterflies when she is near me and the way she looks at me it makes me feel so happy, like she admires me like I could be her everything and the desire in her eyes. All of it makes me so pleased. Last night her look changed towards me, she didn't have all those things I mentioned but there was confusion, anger, disgust and it hurt. I never get hurt Albert" Elena said as her eyes became watery. Elena rose from the couch and looked out her office window wiping a tear that slipped from her eyes. "Ms. Chester you can't treat her like you treat your other girls. From what you just told me you do have feelings, strong ones. I knew she was different from the moment she told me she didn't want to wait in the guest room. She doesn't look at you as Ms. Chester Billionaire and CEO of the Company, she looks at you as Elena beautiful successful woman in high position in the world and I bet she admires that." Albert said. Elena looked at him confused. " What I mean to say is you can't degrade her or treat her like you own her, if what you feel is true and want to explore it you need to see her as your equal, you have to get to know her not see her as a s*x object that you want to claim. You can't possess her and then just treat her like meat and make her leave because she was not satisfying you urges" Albert finished. Elena nodded and sat back in the couch next to Albert. "I think I understand, do you think I should call her?" Elena asked. "Yes and also apologize for the treatment she got last night" Albert concluded as he rose from the couch. "I know you don't apologize but if you want to continue to see her it needs to happen" Albert said. He walked over to Elena and leaned down and gave a peck on her forehead. "If it is meant to be everything will work out. I hope it does and I'm happy that you are feeling again" Albert said as he walked out of the office and left Elena to her thoughts. Elena made her way to her desk and as soon as she sat down, her office phone rang. "Good day" Elena answered. "Elena, it's your uncle, how was the meeting yesterday? As you know I couldn't assist, had to attend some personal affairs and why aren't you in the office?" Mr. Chester asked. "Uncle, everything went according they were actually happy that I took charge of the meeting and now are the one in charge. I decided to stay at home today, any problems?" Elena finished sarcastically, she heard her uncle give a little growl to her answer which made her smile. "Well I suppose any positive feedback benefits me, so I'll let you be have a good day." Mr. Chester answered rapidly and hung up the call. Elena hung up the phone and smiled towards herself in getting her uncle annoyed, it was his fault the company was crumbling slowly even if the outside world didn't see it, but she knew what was happening. Her mind again started to think about Natalia and what Albert told her. She knew that she had to talk to Natalia; she just didn't know how to go about it. She internally was battling if she should apologize, because she never has before, to anybody. But after the way Natalia left last night indicated to not contact her, Elena knew in order to have her back in her life she had to. Again she took out her phone from her purse and looked for Natalia's number and looked at it again debating in her head. She decided to send a text message which read: N: We need to talk.
