Chapter 8

It has been two weeks since the last time Natalia saw Elena and had given her phone number and neither of them has contacted each other. Natalia could not understand the attraction towards her, she kept thinking of her last two encounters with her and how her desire for her grew. Natalia wondered how Elena has so much power over her and found herself in an internal struggle on how wrong it was on so many levels. Unprofessional was the first word that came to mind, how she could make such a big mistake on her first big case and not to mention how the outcome can be from her job and Elena. Natalia being the center of lies to both parties, she felt frustrated and could not think straight when it came to Elena. What if Elena held a big part in the investigation or worst became the prime suspect, what would happen if the FBI found out that she slept with her? Frightened and ashamed she felt, on how her credibility would be viewed as an agent of the law?

Her thoughts were interrupted by the car parking outside FBI building in Virginia. Ramos was driving them there to report all the information they had gathered in the last few months. After Natalia found the video footage that led to Elena's office, they had a perfect view on how, when and what happens in the company live and towards their investigation it was discovering the perfect surveillance and helped their investigation big time.

"We are here partner" Ramos said.

Natalia just nodded and unbuckled her seat belt quietly; before she got out of the car Ramos held her arm sitting her back in the car seat.

"Hey are you okay? You've been distant and always analyzing and thinking all the time, is it Michelle?" Ramos said.

Natalia internally cringed and felt guilty since her mood and thoughts had nothing to do with Michelle, she hadn't even thought of her, or trying to fix their relationship to become at least friends. She sadly looked into Ramos's eyes and lied.

"No it has nothing to do with Michelle, don't worry Ramos I'm ok just a little worried about our first case" Natalia answered as she got out of the car.

Elena arrived to her office on time like always and sat in her seat and sighed to herself. She took out her phone and looked at it to see if she had missing texts, calls, and emails anything. Seeing nothing new she threw her phone inside her drawer. She could not believe that two weeks had past and nothing not even a single call from Natalia. This made Elena mad and frustrated, never had somebody ignored her the way Natalia has done. Elena would always have control of the situation and her past relationships. If you can call them relationships, more like s****l encounters, even so she always was in control and she never, never waited. She wondered to herself why she even gave her number to Natalia, she has never done that before, she was the one who initiated the contact when she was feeling it or wanted it.

Elena also asked herself why she even cared, she found herself having feelings she could not explain towards Natalia and she didn't like it. She promised herself that next time that she had contact with Natalia she would not let herself continue to feel instead look for carnal desire like she always did in the past. A knock on her office door made her snap out of her thoughts on Natalia.

"Come in" Elena said.

"Mr. Chester, Ms. Chester" her secretary said.

In came Mr. Chester and walked elegantly in front of Elena's desk and sat on one of the office chairs.

"Uncle to what do I owe the pleasure of your company today" Elena said sarcastically.

"I wanted to see my niece is that a crime? Also I wanted to know if everything was set for the meeting tonight I heard you changed it and is going to be in your house instead of here why?" Mr. Chester said.

"Well is to be cautious, we are having a lot of business partners coming from around the globe and I don't want them to feel uncomfortable, there are a lot of people working here that I don't know completely. After your little mishap a couple of months ago I know we are being watched or at least it peaked interests of certain agencies" said Elena seriously.

"It was not my fault; you know this" Mr. Chester said.

"I just want to be cautious, anything else?" Elena said bored.

"I saw you completely hired the computer department" Mr. Chester said.

"Yes I did, it was necessary we were losing a lot of money due to minor issues with programming and right now I must say in the past few months you see the difference in our systems." Elena said.

"Right, I was able to meet in the gala the woman in charge, cute little thing, wouldn't you say" Mr. Chester said smirking.

Elena tightened her lips and could feel anger flowing through her at the comment said by her uncle. She thought to herself that nobody should be looking at Natalia except her. 

"Really uncle isn't she a little too young for you?" Elena said coldly.

"Well you never know, anyway I got to go I'll see you tonight" Mr. Chester said as he walked out of Elena's office. Elena just nodded and sat back at her desk.

Elena was feeling frustrated and angry she didn't like what she felt when her uncle mentioned Natalia. She could not define what she felt since it has never happened to her before and it made her feel confused. Why does this girl she just met recently have been causing so many emotions and feelings that she never had before.

Elena has always been an outcast and didn't have many interactions with other people when she was younger. Elena classified herself as an anti-social and preferred to be left alone and never let anybody in her life. She was home schooled when young due to her parents being social elite's and also being very rich they wanted her education proper and no bullying in schools.

This caused her to always be private from everybody except her parents, they always made time for her and were always taking care of her. They would always take her to the company when she was young and was taught at a young age that she would be in charge one day. Elena always wanted to make her parents proud and studied all her life so one day she would be in charge of The Company.

Four years ago both her parents died in an accident and Elena changed she didn't have the desire to continue to pursue being in charge of The Company and left her uncle in charge. In this time she started to engage in s****l encounters with females where she would be in charge of them, never letting them kiss her or touch her in any way. She just wanted to feel in control, it was the only feeling that would make her content, she always was dominant. Ever since her parents died it was all she felt, as if when her parents died they took all of her emotions with them.

She was happy to feel nothing it always made her think that it made her stronger and more objective and has never felt anything more for her partners. She would always let her partners know of these rules she set upon herself.

Until a couple of months ago she was interviewing a young lady for the chief position in the computer department and upon seeing her she felt her heart skip a beat and the feeling was new and strange and she didn't know how to handle it but strangely she liked it and wanted to discover more of it to a certain extent.

What Elena found strange about it all is that she initiated contact with Natalia; it was Elena who kissed her first. It was out of impulse Elena saw Natalia's lips and wanted to see how it felt to kiss her that day in the gala and she loved the feeling, the kiss sent electric shocks all over her body. As if it awakened a part of Elena she never knew existed. All she wanted to was to get to know more of this feeling inside of her that she could not describe but what made her angry was that Natalia was ignoring her and made her feel weak and that was unacceptable to Elena.

Natalia and Ramos exited the FBI headquarters and entered their car and Ramos started to drive back to Boston.

"I can't believe how boring that meeting went" Ramos said.

"I just got the feeling that they were not saying everything they know" Natalia said, while looking out the car window.

"Well at least they congratulated us on all the information gathered I think they are just very happy that they have eyes on the place" Ramos said.

"Yeah a little too happy, but now they know we are doing a good job which is important" Natalia said sighing.

"Hell yeah! I bet we can solve the case." Ramos replied.

"Of course we can!" Natalia said smiling finally.

As they continued driving to Boston Natalia felt her phone vibrate when she looked at her phone it was a text message when she verified the name displayed Elena. The message said "Meet me tonight at my house at 1:00 am I'll have a limo pick you up". Natalia stared blankly at the message and wondered what to do. Her first reaction was her lust taking over on how the night would be if she went to her house and then her conscience came in indicating not to go because of her investigation and how wrong it would be.

Then she read the message again noticing it wasn't an invitation more as a command to show up at her house in the middle of the night, like a w***e to her beg and call and she didn't like that. Her final thought was if she didn't show, that would get Elena mad and that could affect her investigation. Finally she agreed with herself to go face to face and end things with Elena. Natalia sighed to herself and replied to the text message a simple "OK".
