WHEN THE WINTER COMES

Stone him with all your might , don't let him get any chance to live , he is venomous , dangerous and a sucking human vampire ", are the words coming out of the villagers mouth respectively , the man in front of them is covered in blood , he is grumbling and making scary noises , the villagers are throwing all sort of stones , sticks to him , but blood was just coming out of his body and he is not feeling pain , he was just standing looking at them fiercely . the villagers of the small town who are scared to be eaten by the vampire , step back as he started taking steps towards them , one of the villagers shouted " he is coming for us all of you run for life's ", the villagers started screaming and started running away for there dear life , the vampire stop as he saw them retreating and not coming for him again , all the villagers run away and the vampire fall down on his kneels and look up to the sky , with blood dripping from the spot he sustain injuries from the villagers , he hold his heart with his fingers pointed out , his nails become very long and any body that came across him will met there doom . The vampire stand up and place his hand on his chest and started moving towards a lifeless body of a woman lying on the ground, he got to the woman and touch her body then he examined her pause and cried out very loudly that all the townies that has flee leagues away from him heard the noise of him screaming , one of the burghers halt and called the attention of one of the villagers, he walk closer to an old man and whisper to him " are you not hearing any sound, all the villagers halt and stop running from the moment they started hearing the screaming of the vampire that is in uproar because the woman on the ground seems special to him , the villagers including the village chief started trembling and the fear being eaten by the vampire seizes over them , the village head urge the villagers not to wait and run as long as there might can make them flee not to allow themselves being hurt by the vampire the villagers run off and did not even wait to listen to the village head before they all flee for there dear lifes . The vampire pick up the woman and put her on his shoulder and started making noises, then he place her in a cave and uses rocks to cover her remains, then he sit beside the woman and started grieving about her death and sobbing about the lost of his desire. after weeping for many minutes he clean up his face and say to his sweetheart " I know I failed to protect you this time, but I promise to meet you again in your next life, I won't love any human and if it takes one thousand years to reincarnate i will surely wait for you , and will protect you from any danger that will await you in the future , but before I do that I will surely avenge your death because you don't deserve to die , just wait here a bit I will come back to say my goodbye to you properly ", then he makes a noise again to alert the villagers that he is coming for them , he let his nails out and they became very long and strong sharp like the cue of a sword , then he dash off from the cave . The sun is up " shouted one of the villager, the villagers look up in the sky and saw the sun coming up, they all gather around and forget about the vampire chasing them, they started cheering and found themselves in jubilation in hope of escaping the vampire pursuing them. the village head gather the villagers and started addressing them ", now all I have to say is , we have to stop running away in groups and go our separate path, I know one day fate will allow us to meet again and will shall be in harmony once again , but anywhere you found yourself make sure you establish yourself with your wife's and form your own territory ", he pause as he heard someone growling behind him, then he saw the villagers standing up and taking a steps back from him, before he could know what is happening he saw the enraged vampire in front of him , all the villagers run away for there life, but the village chief cant escape due to the vampire blocking the path he can take to protect his life , the vampire started taking step closer to him with his eyes changes to red, the village chief fell down to the ground with fear taking over him he started trembling and initiated pleading to the vampire ", am sorry please don't take my life ", the vampire look at him then ask him angrily " , Just give me one reason why you killed her, tell me ", the vampire yelled at him . The village head who is trembling continue begging the enraged vampire in front of him, the vampire deep his strong nails on his right hand into the village chief chest, the village lost self control and started feeling great pain in him as he found himself losing blood and feeling paralysed in his body, then the vampire say to him " Being in love with a supernatural being is not a sin, I have made a promise to her since when i met her ten years ago that I wont hurt any human and feed off on human blood, did you know how hard it is for me to abide by the rules ", then he remove the village chief heart and throwing it away, the village chief started losing punch of bloods from the spot the vampire injure him , then the vampire uses one of his leg and press the village chief chest and say to him " , she protect this village and this is what you use to compensate her , you thought i wont be able to come out when the sun is up" , the vampire started laughing mysteriously then say" you are off on one thing , we are in the winter the sun cant hurt vampires when we are in the winter.
