WHEN THE WINTER COMES

Rita pick up her books and place them gently in her backpack , she look around her room carefully to check if she is missing something to take to school , that's when she saw herself in her standing mirror , she left her backpack and move closer to the mirror , she started staring at the mirror for a long time , then she found herself in front of a handsome and mysterious boy of her age , they are both dressed in an ancient attire , she stands in front the handsome boy smiling and looking at him dearly , she saw herself moving closer to the boy who is shy to come near to her and touch the back of his ears with her soft hands gently , she look into his innocent eyes and drew him closer to her body , she was about to kiss the boy when she felt someone hand on her shoulder and she get shocked and turn back immediately and saw her mom behind her . My daughter was wrong why are you lost in thought in front of the mirror", Rita mom raised a question to her after she came back from her subconscious . She look at her mom and spoke to her gently " Mom , I don't what's wrong with me lately, am just having nightmare lately and it always turn out to be me and a boy who is vampire , I don't know what's wrong ", her mom touch her cheeks and say " it fine don't worry may be you watch too much dramas ", Rita did not agree with her , so her mom persuade her to go to the school and spend her day in harmony .

Rita got to the bus stop and insert her earpiece into her eyes , she look into her phone and play one of the instrumentals she created , and started listening to it . Rita wait at the bus stop for ten minutes before the bus arrive and she board it to her school . Rita arrive at her school gate and comes into the school when she felt someone holding her from behind , she ask the person politely " who is that ? ", the person gave her reply " just guess , I might be someone you are longing to see", the voice of the person turn out to be a female voice , Rita smile and turn back ", Rachel you thought I won't know it you", Rachel smile at her and hold her hands " I miss you ", they both exchange pleasantry and started walking into there classroom . Rachel has been friends with Rita since there childhood days , she tall and beautiful , known as a play girl in there school , she fond of dating , and flirty constantly , which makes Rita parents oppose there relationship , but Rita is very stubborn and chose to be friend with Rachel despite the challenges they are facing to test their commitment , Rita has convince Rachel many times to change her ways , Rachel pleases and decided to live her life the way she chooses , Rita threatened her if she did not change her ways she won't be friend with her anymore , that's when Rachel decided to stick to one relationship and being love with only her boyfriends and not cheating on him . " Rita what happening , with you , you look pale this morning " , Rachel question Rita about how she look the morning . Rita smile and let Rachel understand she is fine . there homeroom teacher comes in , Mr Daniel , he is a man in his thirties favorite among the students because of his good looks , he love joking with them and they all love to have him in there class everyday . Mr Daniel look at his students faces when he got to in to classroom and clear his throat " did I look more handsome this morning , which makes you guys forget to welcome me this morning ", all the students stand up and gave him his welcome and he urge them to take there sit and relax themselves. Mr Daniel observe Rita from far ", Rita was wrong you look pale this morning , I can't get to recognize the beauty of you thiss morning ", Rita stand up and gave her homeroom teacher a respond " , am fine sir , everything is okay with me am fine sir ", Mr Daniel order her to sit down and started addressing the students " , today I have an important information for you guys from the board members , the board members have organize a talent show for our school thirty years anniversary , so gather up and record songs , practice plays that you will use to entertain the board members on the festival day . Rita I want you to open the performance with the theme of a song " Hello", so can you do that ", Rita nodded her head in excitement immediately , Mr Daniel said " I will take that as a yes , your class will organize a comedy play , so for now , no studies , just form a group and get yourselves ready, have a nice day ", Mr Daniel finish addressing the students and left the classroom , all the students started feeling excited , because of the information there classroom teacher share to them , rita appoints the classmate she want to be in her group and started preparing on the theme of the song given to them . Rachel belongs to the acting group , they all started organizing there plays also . after a long a day , the school close for the day and Rita decide to take a walk to her home , so she can listen to the instrumental to the theme song , she plug in her earpiece and started listening to the beats , she decided to take shortcut path to her home so she won't be interrupted by the sound of vehicle passing the high way when she suddenly saw four men standing in front of her , she decided to ignore them and take another path , but saw another two men blocking her path , Rita started becoming scared and was trembling when the boys started harassing her , she decided to run away but the group of rapists run after her and grab her , Rita started shaking and one of them say to her ", don't stress us , just allow the boys to have fun with you ", and they all started laughing mysteriously at her , she remove her backpack and throw it at one of them , who grab the bag immediately , Rita decided to defend herself and gave one of them a kick to his balls , he feels pain down there and quickly grab his balls in pain, he fell down to the floor , which makes the gang leader angry and he rush to Rita and gave a hard slap on her face , Rita falls down to the ground the group of rapists continue sexually harassing her , when one of them feel a hard smack on his back , the group rapists pause and let go of Rita immediately , when they observe someone has come to interrupt there bad act . the gang leader confronted the boy standing in front of them , the boy wears a hoodie which prevent the group of the rapists to see his face clearly , he walk closer to Rita who is lying tiredly on the ground and checked if she is fine.
