Meet the characters!
Vivian Salem is the one and only royal princess and, obviously, waiting to rule the world. She has blonde curly locks that people pay thousands for in hair salons, silver eyes that shine bright under any light. a perfect symmetrical face with luscious lips and porcelain skin. Her pale skin always had a shimmer, like she was constantly glowing. Her beautiful curves and tiny waist seemed to always gather attention. In all, she was picture perfect and had everything any girl could dream of. Her soul was pure, though her attitude could sometimes sway. She had always been so caring and kind, and she'd go above and beyond for anyone, even those who betrayed her. But on her bad days, she was terrifying. No one would dare defy her, and to this day, no one had even attempted to either.
Lillian Salem, not a Salem by blood but she wore that name with pride. She was found abandoned on the outskirts of the castle. Her body was bruised and broken, in such a state it had made a guard sick. The royal family took her in, treating her as thought she was a daughter too, and for the most part, she acted like one. Lillian’s brown hair was pin straight and she always had it chopped to her shoulders, a look she pulled off effortlessly. Her big brown eyes made her look like a real life doll especially with the clear porcelain skin. She looked like she was part of the royal family. Lillian admired everything Vivian did, she tried her best to mimic her grace but it simply wasn’t possible. Maybe one day she’ll get it.
Ryan Carson, Vivian’s royal guard and best friend in life, would always be by her side. Not that she needed it, but it helped her days feel smoother. His brown hair was always some kind of mop on his head, though it suited him. With the brown curly hair, Hazel eyes, and a lean figure, it was hard for him not to attract other females. Even though he had most female attention he only wanted the attention from the royals, to be specific Lillian’s attention. Somewhere between Vivian’s guard and best friend he’d caught feelings for the unrelated sister. Vivian would approve, of course, but that didn’t stop the fear from creeping up his back and suffocating him whole. So he did what he knew best, he kept a dirty little secret.
Falcon David, the leader of the sacred night had incredible talents. Not only could he make an entire room silent by just merely walking through a door, but he could always make an entire league drop silent with a few words. He was someone to be reckoned with. No one challenged him. No one attempted to press any of his buttons, and no one ever tried to correct him on anything he was doing wrong. why would they? It would be suicide to even attempt such a ridiculous thing. He was the definition of handsomely evil, with his insane muscles and chiselled features. Falcons mucky blonde, almost brown hair neatly combed, and those baby blue eyes only his family seemed to have. He was laced with muscles on every inch of his body, and every girl dreamed of being with him. But even at the age of 37, he had never laid eyes on a single female in the kingdom. His sole focus is on making money and overthrowing the Royal family. at least he thought it was until things swayed his thoughts and potential feelings.
Nathan or nath, shorter for Nathaniel David, was Falcons guard, in some sort of way. At the young age of 22, he stood by his brother’s side in everything he did even if he never fully agreed to it. Falcon and Nathan were complete opposites in everything they did. The two looked the same when it came to physical aspects, muscles, perfect faces, and those baby blue eyes. The only difference is the pitch black hair that seemed to be darker than the night sky, and that kind personality he has. Nathan was sweet, loving to everyone, and always looked out for those loyal to him. Yes, he was also terrifying when angry, but it took a while for him to even reach that stage. Everyone loved Nathan and would speak to him on things related to the kingdom, Falcon might’ve ruled the city but Nathan was the one in charge. He was the trusted one, the one who listened. He was also the one with no intentions on hurting the royals, but he always stood by his brother’s side. His wish was everyone’s command.
The youngest brother, Lucas David, was identical to his twin Nathan. The same black locks and those same blue eyes, tho his eyes were more of an emerald blue not a pure blue, with hues of green mixed in, you'd only notice that if you were to look extremely closely. Something no one had the chance to do. He was quiet, didn't speak much, and didn't let anyone in his personal space. other than his twin. No one could tell them apart, well it’s not that they couldn’t they just never had the chance. They are identical in almost everything, the way they walk with such practiced precision and the almost inhumane glow emitted from their skin. They had the same sense of style, the same awareness and lack of. They were exactly what they had been born to be, twins. He would also support his older brother, guarding him in everything he did, making dreams come true no matter how sick.
Royals had never been an issue to any of the common folk, not really. The royals even looked after them, to the best of their abilities anyway. However, all wouldn't be as seamed. Yes, the commons had no problem with the royals to some degree, but they would sure as hell kill anyone to get as close to the princess as possible. with her unique looks and amazing personality, who wouldn't want her? Even the unspoken people had a keen eye on her, out of simple morbid curiosity. I mean, what was so special about the blonde beauty anyway?
