Please HELP ME! No please STOP! He slapped my across my face and put his hand around my neck. SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE! I jumped up out my sleep sweating hard. That night keeps hunting me over and over again every-night . Hearing Mac open his room door and his feet hitting the floor lets me know he heard me. He knocked on my door before entering seeing me sitting up in my bed. "You had another dream didn't you"? He asked walking over towards me and sat on my bed. I nodded my head looking at my fingers. "I know it's not easy after all these years but it's going to get better sis" He said grabbing me into a hug and kissing my forehead before he left out my room. I know he was going to be gone by the morning like always "Yeah I hope so" I said to myself laying back down closing my eyes. Waking up that morning I went to the bathroom to shower and start on my hygiene stuff. I turned the shower on and sat on the toilet after I finished I flushed and stuck my hand into the shower to see if it was the right temperature I like before stepping in feeling the hot water relax my muscles. I stayed in under the water rethinking my life at the moment. 30 mins later  When I finished washing my body I turned the water off stepping out of the shower grabbing my dry towel. After drying off I put lotion on my body and walked out of the bathroom that was connected to my room and walked towards my walk-in closet to find something to wear for today. When I finished getting dressed I turned around to look at myself in the big mirrors that surrounded my closet liking what I put together I smiled. I wore my Gucci shirt with my purse and shoes to match. I didn't want to wear heels since I knew I'll be walking around a lot today. I walked downstairs to grab my keys and headed for the door knowing Mac was gone because his keys were gone. Today I was going out to search for a building to start my makeup and hair business because that's what I loved to do. I just been slacking a lot lately sitting in the house depressed about what happened to me years ago plus my birthday was coming up It was time to get out of the house. I was turning 21 finally a b***h was grown but still couldn't drink legally in the clubs. I pulled up to this building where I was meeting Ari my real estate agent also my best friend to look at the first building on the list. I decided to go ahead and open a building for myself something I been supposed to been did but I been procrastinating for a while now. I saved up some money working at this hair shop called Unique Styles as a makeup and hairstylist that Ari hooked me up with. I also had money my dad sends every month even though I told him I didn't need it but it came in handy. "Hey sis" Ari said as I walked up to her finally getting out of my car. We hugged pulling away "Girl I hope I like this building today" I said to her as we walked up to the doors. When we walked in I liked how it was modeled but I knew was gone have to have some s**t knocked down and put back into place. "This building only 10 thousand a lot of work going to have to be done before your opening so I'll give it about another year or so" She rambled on and on about everything that needed to be fixed making my head hurt already.  "Okay let's go see the other building cause a year is a day to long if you ask me" I said stopping her from talking. We walked back out the building she continued to lock up the building as I walked off towards my car it was a little too chilly here in New York. Once she finished she got In her car pulling off as I followed behind her driving to the next building as we drove I saw all my favorite places on the way there so that was a plus if you ask me. Pulling up to the building in 20 minutes it was nice on the outside I just wanted to see what the inside looked like already. I got out of my car walking up to the door while she unlocked it walking in first as she held the door. "Thank you, I'm already liking this" I said walking off looking around. "Yeah, this a new spot they built a few months ago" She said looking over at me laughing cause she knew I was about to talk my s**t. "Why the f**k would you take me to the other one for w***e if this one was just what I was looking for" I looked over my shoulder at her as I continue to walk around. "This one is 11 thousand and no problems at all as you can see" she said laughing at the face I was giving her. I walked around a little more seeing the office in the far back which was good walking back in the front seeing her "I'll take it so where's the paperwork" I walked over towards her with a big smile on my face. We walked outside as she put the key in my hand I smiled locking the door up "My b***h finally about to live her dream I'm proud of you" She said pulling me into a hug. We pulled back talking about our plans for later when she comes back from visiting her people. "Okay, I love you forever please be safe and good" I said making her laugh as she rolled her eyes getting into her car "I guess I will and I love you forever" She said before pulling off. I walked off towards my car only to bump into someone falling right on my ass I wanted to go off but I wasting nice today. ***** "My bad ma I didn't see you" I said to this shorty I knocked down leaving the barbershop. I reached my hand out to help her up when she finally looked up she wanted to say something but she didn't she was just staring all in my face I know I looked good. "It's okay I wasn't looking where I was going" she said looking back at me as she picked her phone up. She was about to walk away but some in me told me to grab her arm to stop her. When I did she flinched but I didn't think anything of it. "Let me buy you food since I knocked you down" I said smiling her way trying to see if she was going to agree or not. She nodded her head as we walked over to this little bodega called Soul Spot that was across the street. When we walked in I walked straight up to the counter and ordered greens, Mac&cheese, and turkey with a lemonade to drink. I let her order for herself " Can I have Mac&cheese, fried chicken, cabbage, and cornbread with a strawberry lemonade to drink" she said finishing with a small smile. We sat down and waited for our food so I started a conversation cause I never saw shorty before. " I never got your name" I said looking over at her. She looked around for a minute "Aaliyah and yours?" she asked looking over at me with a small smile waiting "I'm Dave nice to meet you" I said sticking my hand out to shake hers she grabbed it with her small soft hands. Our food was called so I got up to grab it returning back to the table I gave her the container with her food in it she said a little prayer before we both started digging in making small talk here and there. "I never saw you around before, what brings you over?" I asked looking in her eyes giving her mu undivided attention which caused her to look away that's some I caught from her already she can't look me in my eyes when we talk she was always looking down. I found the rude but whatever "I'm always here getting food from this spot but I just bought that building you knocked me down in front of" She said looking over at me with a small smile on her face. I shook my head with a chuckle " I thought you wasn't looking where you was going" I said with a raise eyebrow she did this little sexy ass laugh that I liked for some reason. 15 minutes later We got finished eating so I walked her back to her car she was about to open the door but I opened it for her. "Thank you, and thanks for the food too" She said sitting in her seat putting her seatbelt on. "No problem so I can get your number gorgeous?" I asked bending down in her window slightly looking down at her as she blushed tapping her chin like she was thinking about it. "Wow, you gone do me like that beautiful?" I asked with my lip poked out playfully holding my heart. She laughed shaking her head reaching for my phone as I took it out my pocket and watched as she put her number in. "Be safe I'll hit you later" I said hitting the top of her car as she smiled. She drove off as I walked back into the barbershop and see my boy Renzo finish with his haircut so we dipped and headed back to my tattoo shop Epic Ink-Masters I had for about four years now and s**t been going good since. I walked in seeing a couple of my clients here already waiting to get there's done by me walking towards the back I saw my boys working as I passed them up to get to my space to set up equipment so I can get finished and get out of here for the night. I was so into the zone I finally looked at my phone and saw that the time read 11:45pm. I wiped the access ink off my client are and started telling him what to do and what not to do for the tattoo to heal properly. When he left I clean up my station putting everything where it belong before walking out front to see Renzo sitting waiting for me to lock up so I can take him home since I was his ride this morning. "Can't keep a car to save your ass" I said playfully shaking my head making him smack his lips " Man that curb hit me that's all I gotta say" he said making me bust out laughing the dude was never serious it was always jokes with him.
