Chapter Seven Billy Jo took in her short nails and ordinary hands as she stood in the softly lit waiting area of Nails & Glitter, a small day spa tucked between a craft shop and a specialty teahouse. She’d never been to either, which was maybe why she’d never really noticed this street at the edge of town. Soft, relaxing music was playing low in the background.
