“I’m leaving.”
No one spoke for five seconds as they turned to stare at me. The kitchen was sunny, but the moment I said the words it was a cloud sped across the clouds. Throwing shadows across my coven’s face.
Or maybe it was just the stony looks they were giving me that sent a chill down my spine. It was impossible to tell.
“You have barely started your training.” One of the elders said softly but there could be no denying the spark of anger in it.
