Something was going on up ahead. It was like the whole night sky was illuminated orange and red. From my place squashed between two hulking shifters in the back of Logan’s car I forced my body forward to stare at him.
It was so bright that I had to squint
“What is that?” I had only been to the Desir du Cirque once before. The night I had rejected Caradoch but I couldn't remember it being so well lit.
