29 Retirement I had always thought that retirement was the ultimate goal. Something to be strived for, pursued, chased and won. It is your reward for a life of hard work and toil, doing things you didn’t like doing, passing your time so you could choose how to pass your time. I’ve come to understand that it is not. We had all been told that when you retire, you go to a place where you don’t have to work. You go to a place where you can play games all day, talk to whomever you want. Spend as much or as little time on the internet as you want. But best of all, the drugs are real. Sure, you can still take the virtual ones, but the good ones, the ones that would otherwise be illegal, are legal when you retire. Yes, it is the best of both worlds.
