CHAPTER 9

James's POV, I had a wonderful time with her, as I thought, drifting to sleep. I wake up in the morning with my alarm. Turning off, I got ready and ate my breakfast. I went to school in the excitement that I cannot describe.  I walked along the crowded hallway and many girls waving at me as usual. I could not return it back but to think about her. Thinking about her was my mistake, not in a wrong way but I blushed like a maniac that others would doubt me. All my classes are over and I waited beside her locker. I saw her walking leisurely looking at me and I smirked. She came and stood in front of me and I suddenly pulled her peaking her cheek which made her blush. "Hey beautiful, how was your class?" I asked giving her a big hug and she giggled softly. "That's great and you?" She asked shyly and I liked her being a whole bash for me. "uh uh... It's wonderful as I am in front of such a pretty girl like you." I said and her cheeks flushed tomato-red, looking away. I am satisfied that I have some effects on her. "Okay, let's go, babe." I grabbed her hand, heading to my car and dropped her at her place. Next day, I went to my class and my final exams are nearby. So the teacher is giving us some information about it. I just ignored and thought about her, making me chuckle, grabbing the attention of Harry. He motioned his hands asking 'what?' I ignored him, back to my wonderful notion about her.  'I liked her the way she was.' I thought and everyone is murmuring about something. I looked up and the teacher had already left the class. 'What a man you are?' I mumbled and got off my seat, heading out. I felt something tapped on my shoulder, I shrugged, turning to look, Harry. I looked at him confused and he was like, something got inside him. "What a man are you, James? You love to hang out with me but this time, you hesitated to join me."  He half-yelled and I looked away, smiling inside at the thought of my weekend with her. "Man, are you even real? What in this whole world important than me? And why don't you answer me?" He kept howling at me but I ignored, standing still. "AHHH, JAMES. ARE YOU f*****g SERIOUS?" He screamed out his lungs and I finally decided to answer him but not the whole thing as I don't know if this marriage gonna happens for real. "Nothing man, I got sick of exams and that's it." I said with a blank face and he nodded in agreement. I know this would be perfect to answer him as he looked scared at the word 'exam'. "Can we hang out somewhere else, today?" He said and I rolled my eyes. If I didn't go with him, he would be sad as hell and I could not handle him. "Okay. Where to go and at what time?" I asked and he thought for a moment, searching through his phone for something. "Soccer game at 7 pm and don't be late, I will pick you up." He said practically running out and I sighed. I like to watch soccer and it's really been a long time since we hang out. I thought walking towards my locker and got my books as I should prepare for it. I am not a nerd to get good grades, but at least a decent grade. I picked her up and drove to her home as usual. I called her and said that I won't be going to school as my exams are near. She nodded and I left my house. Lisa's POV, It's been a month that I have seen him and today is his last exam. I walked, pooling with his thoughts, bumping onto something and fall down.  I heard a chuckled and shook my head to look at his soft lips curved into a big smile revealing his teeth which shines brightly. I stood as he lifted me off the ground and peaking my cheeks. "Hey beautiful, wanna hang out with me?" He asked looking at my blushed face caused by him and beaming his best smirk. I nodded slightly and ran away from him as the students started to walk along the hallway, crowding. All my classes are over and took a bus to my home. I got dressed up into a black frock with pearls decorated over the neckline. I waited for him impatiently, after doing my makeup and hairstyle. It's been 6:55 pm, still, he didn't show up. I quickly headed to the main door, hearing his car. Opening the door, I waited for him to enter my home. "Hey, James. How are you doing? And I heard that your exams were over." My father asked him, pulling him to a hug.  "Fine, my exams are over and finally I am a free bird, Mr.Mendes." He said giving back his hug, smiling at me. "That's great to hear and I am looking forward to you to take care of my sweety." My father said and he nodded winking at me. After pulling away, he came inside my home and sat on the couch. "Oh, James, my dear. How are you?" My mother chuckled, walking towards him with wide hands for a hug. He stood, hugging her. "Fine, Mrs.Mendes and what about you?" He said pulling away. He looked at me with a smirk as I didn't blink my eyes for the whole scene. I looked away smiling inside. "Fine, dear. Are you and Lisa going on a date?" My mother said smirking at him. He chuckled nervously looking at her and she patted gently to assure him. "Yes, If you could give me permission." He said staring at me with his hazel eyes that I could not ignore for God's sake. My mother giggled, nodding at him. He smiled charmingly and I stared at him, biting my lips without blinking. He quickly glanced at my lips which took me off guard. We walked out of my house and got in his car. We drove in silence as he stopped the car under a tree, looking at me. I looked at him confused and he looked at my lips, back to my eyes.  He unbelted mine, grabbing my hand, pulling towards him. I sat on his lap within seconds, circling my waist and placing his free arm over my cheek muscles. He peaked over the other side of my cheeks. I was still confused at his action and he runs his thumb over my cheeks caressing it. I was surprised looking at his eyes which were already staring at me lustfully. "What ar-" I was about to ask him but cutoff by his soft thumbs placed over my lips and leaning his head over my shoulder. His breath was warm over mine. I inhaled the minty flavour of his skin that makes me scout even closer which made his grip over my waist tighter. I flinched and he pulled away loosening his grip. He looked at me. "Don't ever make me regret." He said gesturing to sit back on my seat and we drove in utter silence, while I was confused, wondering through the window. He stopped the car beside a fancy one and entering the restaurant. He leads me to the reserved table and after a few seconds, a waitress came, taking our orders. "Umm... what did you said to me, while we were in the car?" I finally asked him grabbing all my confidence and he looked at me for a moment blankly. "It's nothing, forget it." He said and the food arrived at our table. I just ignored it as he told and took a bite of mine, looking at him. He was busy through his phone and I let it go. We finished our eating session and got in the car. He didn't say anything while he was focussed in his driving. He got in our driveway and turned towards me. "Umm... Do you like this date? or it's the worst one?" He asked running his fingertips along with his brown hair. I didn't say anything, looking at his muddled state. "Don't you like it? You can tell me frankly that I would like to hear from you." He said nervously looking at me for an answer. "Ah... Yeah, i-it's good... Umm... good." I shuttered, embarrassing myself as heat rushed my cheeks. He nodded quickly and we got out of the car. He gave me a peak over my cheek and left in his car, muttering good night.
