Oliver scared the s**t out of her. She had started acting strange after hearing that I am that Alpha, but after that s**t-head Oliver started creeping on her she almost completely shut down. She was walking silently next to me as we left the office and went back to the elevator. I was surprised when she didn't flinch away from me touching her as I guided her out but she had seemed almost relieved that I had done so.
"I'm sorry about Oliver," I said softly as the doors closed and I pressed the button for the first floor.
"Hm?" I had pulled her out of some train of thought, her eyes distant as she refocused on me.
"The guy in there, I'm sorry he acted like that. I can see it made you uncomfortable." She frowned, her topaz eyes flickering away as she set her mouth into a hard frown.
