I drove back into town and dialed up Jayce on my way. The phone rang for a moment before he answered.
“Okay, before you yell, I knew they wanted Riley to go too and you told me she was on bedrest by Doc’s orders so I figured if I don’t then they will just get a meeting when she is better.” I was going to chew his ass out but he was right. It’s better to get this over with now so that Riley does not need to come with.
“I hate when you’re right about these things.” I groaned. “Fine, did they tell you why they called me in?” Jayce sighed.
“Zander was poking around in the systems. He found the APB we posted on Maverick.” He explained. I looked at the dashboard like I could see Jayce there.
