"After the encounter with Nathan, I took her to my usual spot and we sat down enjoying the view."

"Thanks Kathleen said."

"What for I asked."

"For always protecting me from your brother." She said while I stood up taking a little step ahead as I shove my hands into my pocket.

"Why do you let him step over you when you can actually protect yourself?" I asked feeling hurt.

"I don't know what you are talking about she replied but I do know she is lying.

"How much do you trust me princess I asked not still looking at her.

"Very much Carl why will you even ask such a question. She replied.

"I doubt that cuz if you did you will never hide anything from me." I turned and saw her crying which breaks my heart but I have to do what am about to do for it hurts to know that the person you love so much doesn't trust you.

"Carl..... She was about to say something but I beat her to it.

"I thought you could trust me with your life princess but how wrong I was and it hurts to know you never trusted me that much to tell me it really hurts but I just want you to promise me one thing."

"What's that she asked but it came out as I whisper."

"That you will never let him or anyone trample over you can you promise me that?

"Yes I promise. she promised

I picked up my bagpack and left despite her calling my name, I ignored it and went to class. I entered the class hoping she will do same but guess I was wrong cuz she didn't attend a single class today which got me distracted. I called her several times I even lost count on the amount of times I called or text her but she didn't receive or reply any.

"After school I went to see if she was still at the spot I left her but she was gone. I went home knocked on her door it was still locked. i asked but no one seems to have seen her proving she didn't come home. I kept calling and texting but got nothing in return so I became scared what if something has happened to her......no no it can't be.

I took a cool bath and headed for dinner after I had knocked on her door again. I got to the dinning taking my usual seat and started dishing out my food without saying anything to anyone.

"Carl where is Kath isn't she coming down for dinner? mom asked

"Mom she said she is full we should carry on without her I lied."

"Okay if you say so mom replied." We all started eating but I couldn't eat because my mind was restless . How can I eat when I don't know if the girl I'm in love with is fine?"

"Mom, dad excuse me am not feeling hungry will be in my room saying that I left going to her room.

I knocked a couple of times but no response before an idea pop up in my mind so I went outside and stood beneath her window. I climbed up to see it open which means I was right all along she wasn't at home. I decided to stay and wait for her so after waiting for hours someone appeared in her room scaring me but then she turned around taking off the clothe covering her face and saw me which startled her.

"What are you doing here? she asked dryly."

I didn't reply cuz I was still in shock can she really appear and disappear? How many supernatural powers does she have?

"Carl what are you doing here she yelled this time around bringing me out of my thoughts."

"What do you think ....waiting for you of course. I replied."

"Can you leave I need to sleep."

"Why didn't you attend classes, you even missed dinner and refused to answer or reply any of my messages."

"I was busy with other stuffs she said folding her clothes which were on the couch."

"I'm sorry I said standing up from her bed."

"Okay so can I sleep now?"

"Damn you Kathleen am the one who has the right to get mad here not you okay...I yelled because I was still mad at her and I'm the one who is supposed to be not her. So why is she acting all mad like I'm the one who lied and kept a secret from her."

"And what Rights do you have she yelled back."

"You really wanna know the rights fine here it goes.....Kat I have every right to be mad cause we've been friends from childhood and I didn't hide anything from you I told you everything about me but you didn't say a thing if I had not check up on you the other night I wouldn't have found out I barked."

"Where you spying on me she asked furiously."

"Goodness why will I? I was worried about you so I went out looking for you but when I couldn't find you, I came back only to see the werewolve I've been watching running in that forest was actually you I spat while she just stood there saying nothing." Say something damn it I yelled."

"Why are you so worked up about this what is really the issue here Carl she asked a bit calm."

I took steps towards her but she retreats until she hits the wall making it easier for me and trapping her in between my arms which are pressed against the wall. I looked into those captivating eyes of hers and crashed my lips on hers and kissed her like there is no tomorrow. She was stunned for a while but reciprocated the kiss which made me smile as she gave me entrance into her mouth. Our slow kiss turned into a heated one when I realized I had to stop if not I will take her here and now so I stopped and moved away from her if not I will do it again.

"I'm sorry for kissing you like that but I swear I didn't regret it cuz I loved every bit of it I said looking at her."

"Wh..at do..es that me..an she stutters."

"It means I feel something else for you Kat. I do not see you as a sister anymore princess I'm sorry but I didn't mean for it to happen. Though i have this romantic feelings for you, I don't want to rush it because we do not have the right to choose our mates. I don't want a situation where I will have to betray you for my destined mate."

"Ummmmm I will just go to bed now she murmured."

"Goodnight princess I gave her a peck on her forehead and left. I got into my room only to find Nathan laying on my bed.

"Where have you been? Nathan asked

"And what are you doing in my room Nathan?

"Come on can't I visit you in your room?

"I'm not in a good mood please leave.

" I'm here to tell you I found the girl who will be my future Luna hearing that I frozed on my spot.

"What do you mean Nat you haven't turned 18 so what are you talking about?

"After dinner I decided to take a Walk in the forest but do you know what happened Nat asked I just shook my head which meant "no". He narrated the story and trust me when I say I know the werewolve in that scene in none other than princess and I know why she lied about her name and pack but why will she say she already has a mate? Ooh Nat how stupid can you be if only you knew that Lilian is none other than Kathleen I sigh getting up from the arm chair.

"So what do you want to do, reject your mate just because she is powerful I asked him."

"Of course I need someone like her not a weakling like your princess and talking of your princess what's up with you two Nat asked."

"What do you mean I asked furrowing my eyebrows."

"I can feel you two are having issues and besides that are you in love with Kathleen? Nat asked and trust me I would have said yes if she wasn't his destined mate for I don't want any enemity between us."

"Of course not I do not she is like a sister to me so why will I."

"Hmmmmm okay if you say so goodnight Carl Nat said and left. I sigh for the tenth time today falling on my bed and drifted to sleep.
