"Wait was that a dream, did he actually kiss me ? But..but...but....jezzz was it lust or was it love no I should have asked him yeah I will go meet him we have to talk about it. I left my room heading for his when I heard voices guess he is busy I will go and return later I thought to myself but then I heard my name so I decided to earsdrop."

"Of course I need someone like her not a weakling like your princess and talking of your princess what's up with you two I guess that was Nathan's voice but what is he doing in his room and talking about me."

"What do you mean that was Carl asking.

"I can feel you two are having issues and besides that are you in love with Kathleen Nathan was the one asking."

"Of course not. I do not she is like a sister to me so why will I."

Hearing that I felt a pang in my heart how can he say that? Ooh like a sister which you just passionately kissed."

"Hmmmmm okay if you say so goodnight Carl Nathan worded and that was my cue to run back so I rush into my room for fear of being caught earsdropping. Got into the room and laid on my bed as the tears made its way down my cheeks. How can he say such after the kiss we shared? does that mean the kiss meant nothing to him...? I cried myself to sleep. " The next day, I woke up feeling sore and eyes swollen. I got to the bathroom did my business since I wasn't feeling hungry I skipped breakfast and headed to school on foot. I arrived shcool got to class and made an hour reading before students started coming in. I was so engrossed in reading that I didn't notice someone was sitting by me and I only noticed when he greated.

"Hello....

I looked up from my book and was carried away with the figure sitting beside me. He has p***y cat kinda eyes, brown skin, brought chest, well build muscle I guess cuz even though he wore a long sleeve shirt I could still see them. Jezzz stop checking him out already.

"Hi I replied."

"i'm Mike hope you don't mind me sitting here?

"Of course not. I replied."

"Okay thanks. What's your name he asked."

"Call me Kathleen."

"Wao as beautiful as you he compliment."

"Thanks. I replied with a little smile." Are you new?

"Of course not been in this class with you but since you are in your own world you never noticed."

I felt a little bad and he is so right because I do not know half of my class mates since I've never taken time to know any of them since I have Carl.

"I'm sorry about that I replied giving him a tight smile."

"It's okay kath. We dived into getting to know each other when I felt a hard stare on me so I looked up to see Carl standing before us glaring at Mike.

"This is my seat Carl said coldly."

"Didn't see your name on it Mike replied mockingly."

"But I always sit with princess and everyone in this fucken class and school knows that Carl growled." Jezzzz did he just do that oh my I don't want them fighting what will I do now.....

"Go find yourself another seat dude Mike said nonchalantly but knowing who Carl is when he is mad, I stood up, packed my books in my bag and was about leaving when I heard."

"Where are you going to? They both asked at the same time causing me to stare at them as if they are aliens.

"I'm sitting somewhere else."

"But why Mike asked."

"Because I don't want issues so Carl you can sit with Mike

I left I sat beside another dude I've never seen before and he just looked at me as if I've gone mad but I just shrugged. The teacher immediately walked in leaving Carl with no choice but to sit with Mike." It was lunch time so I was on my way to lunch when someone grab me forcefully and pulled me towards an empty class.

"Why are you avoiding me thought we were fine last night Carl asked while I just stood there with an emotionaless face."

"Who said I was avoiding you? I asked dryly

"Come on princess you know what am saying is true."

"I said am not avoiding you."

"What's wrong did I do something wrong he calmly asked holding my hands.

"Nothing I've to go but before I could make a step he pulled me in for a kiss which got me stunned for a while then I remembered what he said last night so i pushed and slapped him across the face. How dare he? I am so mad right now. He says I'm just a sister to him but has the audacity to kiss me like this.....what the nerve of this guy standing before me.

"What was that for he asked shocked."

"You got some nerves you know? How dare you, how dare you Carl? You say am like a sister to you but here you are kissing me like am your lover. What do you want answer me what?

"I... I...I he stutters."

"Tsuhhhhhhhh just shut it Carl. Am not doing this game with you so if I'm nothing more than a sister to you then treat me as such and stop confusing me with all the kisses I spat."

"I'm not confusing you I'm just doing what my heart tells me to do he spat back."

"I don't have time for this Carl so get lost I said leaving him there."

I walked down the corridor with a restless mind and I bumped into a hard chest. s**t I cursed under my breathe for I thought it is Nathan but then he sent his hand to help me up. I looked up it was him the guy from earlier Mike.

"Thanks Mike and sorry for that I said."

"It's okay so where are you heading to?

"I'm going home."

"But classes aren't yet over."

"I know but have things to do. I need to get a birthday gift for Carl today it's his birthday."

"Wow that's cool."

"Ummmmm I know we just met but is it okay if I invite you to dinner with my family tonight?

"Wow wasn't expecting that."

"Ooh if you ain't comfortable with the idea then it's fine you can just..he cut me off by place his index finger ony lips which got me shocked for awhile.

"I will love too he replied and I smiled at him."

"Okay then see you tonight at 7 pm.

"But I do not know where you leave Mike said."

He gave me his phone and I stored my number in it we said our goodbyes. I went into a jewelry store to purchase a gift for Carl which I did and went home. Got home around 6:30 since I passed by the park to clear off my head.

"No one knew I was home so got into my room took a cool bath then sent mike my address after he replied telling me he got it. I got dressed into a red spaghetti sexy prom dress that hugs me from my bosson to my waist and flushed from my waist to the floor matching it with my transparent red hills not forgetting my make up though not that heavy to make me look sluty but enough to make me look pretty tonight.

After a while, I got a bip from my phone which was Mike informing me he was here so I hurried with my final touches and headed downstairs. While heading down I could see people staring at me but my eyes kept searching for someone else though it seems he was no where in sight. I got to the living room looking for Mike when someone tapped me on my shoulder and I turned around to see Mike in his Ash tuxedo suit looking ravishing.

"Wow You look absolutely beautiful tonight mi lady. he said taking my hand and placing a kiss. i smiled at him."

"And you aren't looking bad yourself Mike he smiled too."

"Care for some drinks he asked."

"Sure I replied." We walked to get some drinks when the Queen asked for everyone's attention through the hitting of her wine glass."

"I wanna thank you all for coming to celebrate with us. I can't say how proud I am because words can't express it but I'm proud to be the mom of this young lad please give it up for my son the birthday boy." Every appluaded as I saw him walking over to his mom and may I say something? If Angels live on Earth then he is absolutely one of them goodness how could he be this handsome Tonight? Don't get me wrong he is always handsome but today.... he is damn pretty and I couldn't stop drooling over him yack get a hold of yourself Kathleen. He arrived giving his mom a chest kiss on her cheeks.

"Good evening everyone and as my mom said I just wanna thank everyone for being here today cuz it really means so much to me, us and mom, I'm proud to be your son. He look at his mom giving her another kiss but this time on her forehead." You all do feel at home and wishing you all a wonderful evening. He ended his speech as the crowd cheered him up."

"Wow that was sensational Mike chipped in."

"Yea they are pretty close come let's head for the dinning it's time to eat.

Everyone was asked to move into the dinning hall where a big table fitting 30 seats and more is placed. We all took ours seats as the servants began dishing out our food. I sat with Mike since I invited him while Carl sat at the far end beside his mom and Nathan at his father's right hand. We all ate while making little conversations and trust me I had fun cuz Mike was a great company. After dinner and a little dancing here and there Mike decided to call it a night so I saw him off to his car."

"Thanks for today kath I really had fun."

"Thanks too you are such a great company I said smiling.

"Good night beautiful he said giving me a peck on my cheeks as he got into his car and drove off.

I touched the area his lips touched but felt no spark when he kissed me so we can be just friends. I walked into the garden to take some fresh air gosh can't believe Carl ignored me throughout this night as if I never existed. Ooh shut up kath remember you told him to stay off.

"And who the hell are you talking to me like that I replied in my mind."

"Blablabla am your wolf dumb ass." I rolled my eyes at her response.

"Finally you decided to speak up I said."

"All thanks to you for shutting me out for long she replied."

"It's not my fault I'm stronger than you I said mockingly."

"Ohh so you think. don't make me prove you wrong Kathleen she replied.

"Oh just shut it Golden.

"I'm Mitch call me Mitch not Golden.

"But your fur is gold that's why I named you Golden

"I'm Mitch dummy. She insisted.

"What a name I said feeling bored."

"At least it's prettier than Kathleen she replied and I can tell she rolled her eyes.

"Okay nice of you to keep me company but got to go now and don't speak until you are asked to are we clear I asked sternly.

"Crystal she replied in an irritated tone. I was about leaving when I felt someone's hot breathe around my ear spreading waves throughout my body."

"You look stunning tonight he said.

"Thanks I replied frozen on my spot. He walked to my front standing before me jezzzz there I was checking him out.

"Like what you see he said teasingly and smirk while I blushed and looked away."

"You're not looking bad yourself I said still feeling embarrassed."

"Thanks princess he replied."

"Ummmmm can you follow me up stairs wanna show you something."

I said looking at him but he didn't say a word rather he kept staring into my eyes while taking steps towards me. I tried to retreat but there was no way to do that the next thing was him crashing his lips to mine and my traitorous self responded to the kiss. We kissed for God knows how long before we pulled apart breathing heavily as he held me in his embrace not saying a word. After a while I pulled away.

"Okay come show me what you wanted to show me princess."

He said while I just nodded and led the way taking him into my room. We got there as he sat on my bed so I brought out his gift and handed it to him catching him by surprise. He began unveiling it and there he gave me that smile which drives me nuts after seeing what I got for him.

"Hope you like it. I asked

"Words can't express how I feel right now princess he said smiling like crazy staring at his gift.

"Happy birthday Carl I said smiling for am glad he loved my gift."

"This you have given me is priceless and I will forever cherish it thanks so much for this princess he said still smiling."

"I'm glad you like it."

"I don't like it I love it princess. We sat there staring at each other not knowing what to say."

"Ummm I will get going now once more thanks for this princess.

"You are welcome.

He woke up and left my room as I let out a sigh of relief. Headed back to my wardrobe took of my dress got into my pj and went to bed.
