CARL'S POV

"After breakfast I immediately headed for school through my mind was restless. Why didn't she come for breakfast this morning ooh goodness what will I do with this girl I sigh feeling fraustrated. I got to school strolled to class only to find some dude sitting with princess and do you know the worst part, he was making her laugh something I should be the only one doing and that spoiled my morning. I walked up to them staring at her while glaring at the guy as if I was going to murder him before princess looked up and the guy followed her gaze."

"This is my seat I said coldly."

"Didn't see your name on it the dude replied mockingly."

"But I always sit with princess and everyone in this fucken class and school knows that I growled."

Jezzzz I was already loosing it thus needed just some few more push to smash this mother fucker's pretty face yeah he was quite good looking but nothing compared to me."

"Go find yourself another seat dude.

The dude said nonchalantly leaving me with no choice but before I could throw him outta my seat princess stood up holding her bagpack and was about leaving but stop when my question came in actually our question since we asked the same question at the same time."

"Where are you going too? The dude and I asked while she just stared at us as if we are Aliens.

"I'm sitting somewhere else."

"But why that dude asked."

"Because I don't want issues so Carl you can sit with Mike.

she left and sat beside another dude goodness is she kidding me right now. So this mother fucker's name is Mike what a name I rolled my eyes but before I could reach her the professor walked in giving me no choice but to seat with this ass. I sat there not paying attention but praying for this lesson to end so I could have a chat with princess cuz I need to know why she is suddenly acting up again. Thought we were fine last night so what changed? After class I left without looking at her as I got to a hidden place at the corridor waiting for her. I stood there for a while before I saw her coming through and without any hesitations I pulled her dragging her into an empty classroom."

"Why are you avoiding me thought we were fine last night I asked while she just stood there with an emotionaless face then it hit me that something is wrong."

"Who said I was avoiding you? She asked dryly."

"Come on princess you know what am saying is true."

"I said am not avoiding you."

"What's wrong did I do something wrong I asked calmly almost like pleadingly cuz this her acting up is killing me and i can't bear it I swear."

"Nothing I've to go but before she could take a step I pulled her in for a kiss taking her by surprise and just when I thought I had her where I wanted, she pushed slapping me hard across the face catching me off guard. Damn what the hell jezz that really hurt you know. What has gotten into her and why is she this way with me all of a sudden."

"What was that for I asked almost yelling."

"You got some nerves you know? How dare you, how dare you Carl? You say I'm like a sister to you but here you are kissing me like am your lover. What do you want answer me what?

Her statement came like a bomb then my mind recalled my conversation last night with Nathan. Did he tell her Or she over heard us talking? Damn am screwed what will I say or do now

"I... I...I s**t I couldn't find any words nor anything to say."

"Tsuhhhhhhhh just shut it Carl. I'm not doing this game with you if I'm nothing more than just a sister to you then treat me as such and stop confusing me with all your kisses she spat furiously."

"I'm not confusing you I'm just doing what my heart tells me to do I responded."

"I don't have time for this Carl so get lost she said leaving me there speechless.

I stood there confused not knowing what to do and guys today is my birthday which got me wondering why today of all days jezzz I'm doom for it won't be a special day anymore. I walked out of school heading home cuz I was in no mood to study but then I saw her standing and chatting with that dude from earlier on Mike I guess. I felt as jealousy took hold of me. I needed to leave that place before I commit murder so I just got into my car and drove off.

"Don't know how long I've been asleep but I woke up to discover it's almost seven then there was a knock at my door. I woke up opened it and saw mom all dressed for my birthday dinner."

"What the hell, why ain't you dressed mom yelled."

" Mom calm down I was about doing that before you knocked."

"Okay....you almost gave me a heart attack." I giggle at my mom's performance.

"Mom chill it's just a birthday not my wedding day I said smiling."

"I know but I can't help it you are all grown up now and soon you will be married once you find your mate let no one cast an evil eye on you my dear." I laughed hearing my mom's words. she is being melodramatic right now and all emotional.

"Don't worry mom no one will do that I said giving her a tight hug.

"Okay now go get ready she said pushing me inside my room and shutting the door while I just rolled my eyes."

"I freshen up, and got dressed into my white and black tuxedo suit matching it with a louis Vinton shoe, watch and necklace. I brushed my hair checking myself out one more time before stepping out to the party which had already begun. I got there only for mom to pull me as introduces me to her friends and trust mr it was boring. I looked around for her but she was no where in sight making me pale is she that angry at me? Come on it's my birthday for crying out loud she isn't suppose to miss it no matter our issues. I thought to myself but then I was shocked with the beauty descending the stairs. She wasn't only beautiful she was perfect and yes there I knew I couldn't let this woman be with any other man not even with my brother. I will do anything just to make her mine even if it means rejecting my mate I will.

"She was searching for something or should I say someone how I wish I was that someone but with the way things ended between us earlier on today, I doubt I am that person. She reached down and there I saw him again jezzz can't I enjoy this day in peace what on Earth is that moron doing here I asked in my thoughts getting pissed already but decided to grab a drink when mom called the attention of everyone present.

"I wanna thank you all for coming to celebrate with us. I can't say how proud I am because words can't express it but I'm proud to be the mom of this young lad please give it up for my son the birthday boy." Every appluaded as I made my way to mom giving her a chest kiss on her cheeks.

"Good evening everyone and as my mom said I just wanna thank everyone for being here today cuz it really means so much to me, us and mom I'm proud to be called your son. I looked at my mom giving her another kiss but this time on her forehead." You all do feel at home and wishing you all a wonderful evening I ended my speech as the crowd cheered me up." I left going to check on the food to see if everything is ready for dinner which I later on informed my mom who then informed the crowd.

"Everyone came into the dinning hall where a big ceremonial table was placed surrounded by 100 seats. We all took our seats as the servants began dishing out our food. I sat at the far end with mom when I saw her sitting with that Mike guy at the other end while Nathan sat at father's right hand. We all ate while making little conversations. After the meal Mike took her for a dance while I stood there watching and asking myself how can she totally ignore me on my birthday night not even a birthday wish from her wao how amazing before heading for the bathroom."

"I did my business and by the time i got back she was no where in sight so decided to look for her by asking the guards if they've seen her and yes they did for one said he saw her leaving with her friend. I hurrieddly followed them but was shocked when I saw him giving her a kiss on her cheek my fist clenched how dare he touch my woman I thought in my mind. After that little act he got into his car and drove off while princess made her way to the palace garden and sat on the swing. I followed and stood not too close to her admiring her beauty. How will I be with princess without betraying my brother I thought feeling confused cuz had it been he wasn't my brother trust me I won't have given a dime about it so what do I do now. I was lost in my thoughts when I realized she was about leaving so I rushed to her as I stood close from behind wispering into her ear."

"You look stunning tonight."

"Thanks she replied." I felt her tense up by this act of mine putting a smile on my face at least I do have an effect on her. She looks like she wasn't going to turn around so I made my way to her front standing in front of the most beautiful woman I've ever seen then I realized she too was checking me out."

"Like what you see I said teasingly and smirk while she blushed and looked away."

"You're not looking bad yourself she said still looking away."

"Thanks princess I replied."

"Ummmmm can you follow me up stairs wanna show you something."

She said looking at me but I didn't say a word as l kept staring into her eyes while taking steps towards her which she tried retreating but there was no way out giving me the opportunity to stand so close to her and crashing my lips on hers. We kissed for God knows how long before we pulled apart breathing heavily then I held her in my embrace not saying a word. After a while she pulled away and I understood why."

"Okay come show me what you wanted to show me princess I said while she just nodded and led the way taking me to her room. We got there, I sat on her bed while she went and brought out a gift and handed it to me catching me off guard again."

"Hope you like it she said as I began unveiling it. I finally unveiled it giving her my brightest smile as she smiles back."

"Words can't express how I feel right now princess I said."

"Happy birthday Carl she said still smiling."

"This gift you have given me is priceless and I will forever cherish it thanks so much for this princess I said still smiling."

"I'm glad you like it."

"I don't like it I love it princess. We sat there staring at each other not knowing what to say. Ummm I will get going now once more thanks for this princess.

"You are welcome. She replied.

I woke up and left her room heading for mine. I got to my room freshen up again and wore my shorts but didn't go to bed just yet. I took out the huge frame princess gave me yes guys she drew a picture of me and I'm going to hang it on the wall in my room this night with that I looked for place and I placed it there staring at it for a while before going to bed and with her in mind I drifted to sleep."

"It's been a week since my birthday and come tomorrow my brother Nathan and Kathleen will be turning 18 mom has already prepared everything for their birthday party mehnnn what I'm I going to give this gorgeous woman I thought to myself. It's a weekend so I'm just in my room resting and thinking when I heard voices so I decided to check what's happening and there I saw Nathan pinning Kathleen to the wall and trust me when I say their closeness was too much for my liking." They seem to be in a heated discussion so I hidded behind a pillar so I could hear what they are talking about.

"Nathan let go now. said Kathleen."

"And if I don't what will you do little scaredy cat Nathan said smirking." Wait is he flirting with her no no it can't be but of course they are definitely meant to be maybe he started feeling something since it's just a day to his 18th birthday.

"I bet you don't wanna see what I can do Nathan cuz I promise you won't like it one bit Kathleen spat."

"Okay then do it shock my kitty Nathan said that still smirking but then Kathleen did something unbelievable, she released herself from his hold and folded both of Nathan's hands behind him pinning his face to the wall taking him by suprise.

"Now you listen here, this will be the last time you do such stunts cuz I promise you next time I won't be this gentle with you and mind you Nathan you are not my favorite person right now so if I were you I will stay off Kathleen's path." With that she let go of him and was about to step away

"Wait how did you do that I thought...

"You thought wrong Nathan stay off with that she stormed of leaving a smile on my face.

She has no idea how proud I am of her right now so decided to leave my hidding going towards Nathan who is in deep thoughts.

"Hey bro everything okay with you?

"Ahhhhh ha yeah yeah everything is okay." He was a little startled

"Hmm but your worried face says otherwise Nate."

"Carl I'm fine." He said a little irritated

"Okay if you say so. Have you seen princess around?

"What am I, her babysitter he asked a little annoyed."

"Ummm no didn't mean it that way it was just a question Nate why getting angry over it?

"Nothing." He said and left. Wao princess really got him good woohoo.
