"After we finished dinner, I accompanied princess to her room before heading to mine. Got into my room and laid on my bed thinking about what Lucas said which made me boil with anger. Damn those rouge for I will so love to make them pay for making princess an orphan and talking about princess.. I will be turning 18 in three days time while princess will be in a week's time alongside Nathan and I pray she is my mate cuz I don't know what I will do if she isn't. I don't think I can bear seeing her with someone else but what if she sees me only as a brother jezzz no no please let her feel the same please with that I drifted to sleep."

"Don't know how long I've been asleep but looking at the clock it's pass midnight then why am I feeling restless? I got up decided to check on princess. I went into her room but she was not inside then something caught my attention.... her window was opened but why was it opened? I began to panic but wait what if they took her....no no it can't be but then where did she go to at this time I thought then decided to follow through the same part. I walk towards the forest getting deep into it, when I saw something....it's a beautiful golden werewolf. She is super huge and has eyes like none of the wolves more like fireball eyes yet very beautiful. I hidded some where to watch her running and trust me she is super fast and when I say fast I mean faster than werewolves.

"After what seemed like hours I decided to head back to the palace when I saw something pass so I hidded. I saw the werewolve I saw in the woods heading towards princess window and transformed back to her human form and my heart sank seeing the person. She got back into her room through the window while I stood there still in a daze. How can it be.....she is not yet 18 so how is that possible......Could she be some witch or is she a ....... I gasp as realization hit me so I hurried to my room where I have a little library behind my closet.

"I got there and look for a book and when I found it, I opened the page to take a look at the possibilities so when I saw them I was happy and at the same time sad. I placed the book back on the shell and left the library before laying on my bed thinking. If she really is the hybrid that means she is not weak as Nathan claims she is and if I am more powerful than Nathan then she is definitely super powerful than him but the question is, why does she let him do all that he has been doing to her goodness am going crazy should I ask her? no no I won't I will keep it as a secret and see what she is up too."

"I woke up did my morning routine and headed for breakfast.

"Good morning Mom, Dad

"Good morning my parents replied in a sync."

"And good morning to you princess I said smiling as usual."

"Good morning Carl slept well she asked smiling as well."

"Yes I did hope you too."

"Yea same here."

"Okay okay can we eat now Nathan said feeling irritated. We ate while making little chats only Nathan was quiet."

"Son any plans for your birthday Dad asked."

"None Dad but was hoping we will just have a family dinner that's all I replied."

"Bullshit we will have to celebrate it mom seconded."

"Mom I don't want to okay.....so let's just have a family dinner with close friends that will be all."

"Okay if you insist then a family dinner it is Dad said and I smiled at him with a nod."

"Dad I will love to have a word with you after breakfast if you don't mind."

"Of course I don't mind Carl with that we ate our food but then I noticed princess has been really quiet when we started talking about my birthday so I nudged her as she looked at me."

"Are you okay you've been super quiet."

"Am fine Carl was just thinking of what to get you for your birthday."

"Hey you know with you just being there is already enough for me right I said that caressing her knuckles."

"I know but I just want to give you something for your birthday she said giving me a tight smile then the next thing I did suprised me not only me but my parents and her as well as she widely opened her eyes. I turned a little facing her and caressed her cheek smiling at her as she later regained herself and smiled back.

"Just don't ever leave me that's the only gift I need from you princess."she then held my hand which was on her cheek caressing it too."

"I promise I will never leave you.

"That's relaxing to hear come on let's eat don't want you getting late for school we just laughed and continued with our food.

You know during that moment we forgot that my parents were at the table we didn't really care what they will think of us and am glad no one interfered. After breakfast, Nathan and princess left for school while I followed my Dad to his office as he gesture me to sit-down which he did same.

"So son what was it you wanna talk about Dad asked."

"Dad I want to know if being a hybrid is a crime I asked and his eyes widen."

"Tsuhhhhhhhh he said as he woke up, opened his door looked outside for a while before closing and locking it then came back and sat down."

"What is it Dad?

"What made you ask that question son? Have you seen one?

"No Dad was just asking I lied cuz I never wanted to expose her secret without actually knowing why she kept it away from everyone including me."

"I thought you've seen one he said sighing."

"Why Dad any problem?

"You know prophecy for told that only she and her mate can save us from the rogues.

"Okay so where is her suppose mate?

"Her mate is actually......... okay the prophecy said her mate will definitely be from our household the next Alpha in line."

"If I can understand you well it means Nathan can likely be her mate right i asked."

"Yea you are right." Hearing that made my fist clenched and unclenched under the table as I gave him a blank expression.

"Okay but does the rogues know about this?

"Yes they do but the only thing they don't know is whether its a he or she that's why they are going from one pack to another checking if they can find the hybrid and capture it.

"What if they capture her dad what will they do with her?

"From what I heard if it's a he, he will marry his daughter but if it's a she the leader of the rogues will make her his mate and become the moon god while she will for ever remain a trapped moon goddess making him stronger than the king Alpha, Alpha and other werewolves."

"That's bad and that should never happen Dad."

"Yes that's why we are keeping our ears on the ground so we will get to her before they do. But the thing with hybrids is that they know just how to hide their scents and you will never know it's a hybrid but a normal werewolf."

"ummmmm I see."

"But what peek your interest in it today?

"Nothing father was going through a book and saw the name so decided to know if it's real."

"Okay."

"I will go ahead now father with that, I left his study with a restless mind. I now see why she hidded it but at least she should have trusted me and tell me who she actually is but to think she will end up with my brother hurts damn how can I stop it from happening cuz I can't bear to see her with someone else gosh what will I do?

"I got to school only to find people gathering at the corridor so I rushed to see what's happening. I got there only to see Nathan and princess staring at each other guess they got into another fight. I pushed through the crowd as I made my way in between and finally got to where they were standing. They both looked at me and princess countenance changed immediately she saw me it became soft and trust me I felt happy to know I can calm her down just the way she can calm me down."

"What happened princess I asked her calmly."

"Your princess finally got some courage to talk back at me guess the cat finally got some bone Nathan said in a mocking tone as i just rolled my eyes.

"Nathan I do not know why princess is holding herself back from teaching you a lesson you will never forget cuz if I was in her shoes I would have done that long ago."

He burst out laughing as his friends join in except Claude who looks angry for reasons I won't wanna know.

"Oh brother dear so you think your baby here can lift a muscle she is as weak as a new born baby very fragile. He said in between his laughs."

"Okay if you say so. Princess let's go I turned just to see a shock Kathleen but didn't mind it as I held her hand leading her away from the crowd.
