"Hi guys I'm Nathan son to the Alpha of blood moon pack. I am 17 turning 18 in a month's time and gosh I just hate the idea of finding a mate cuz what if my mate is weak or ugly uhhhhh. I woke up this morning took my bath, brush got dressed and went to school without my parents knowing. I took a stroll since it was still early and arrived school when it was almost time. I met my friends Jane, Claude, Charles and Dante at the corridor chatting I greeted them joining in on their conversation when this Mandy of a girl interrupted. She is this little spoiled brat I once had a thing for and now I'm so done with her but the thing is, she doesn't listen."

"Hey babe miss me she asked and didn't wait for my reply as she crashed her lips on mine.

I kissed her back when I heard someone clearing their throat more like try to gain my attention so I stopped and look up to see my brother Carl yeah I do have a brother. He was not alone but with someone I've never liked since from day one. She is Kathleen but my brother calls her princess oh s**t how much I hate it."

"So father was serious after all." I said with a annoyance evident in voice.

"Of course he was and I will be showing princess around Carl said happily and I scoff

"As if I care. Just tell your princess to stay away from me." I said and left with my friends tailing behind me. I heard my brother telling her that I'm an ass which made me clench and unclench my fist."

"I went to class still with a smug face since they just ruined my beautiful morning and to top it all Mandy wouldn't let me breath jeez what did I get myself into? "It was time for lunch so my friends and I were heading to the cafeteria when someone bumped into me on looking who is was, my body shook with rage as my eyes became dark.

"I'm sorry didn't mean to bump into you.

She said stuttering looking at the floor but the next thing I did is pushing her to the wall and cupped her chin with my hand twisting it and she winced due to the pain but hello who cares."

"Now listen to me you little piece of s**t. The venom in my voice was very evident. You know if it was up to me I would have never let you stay at our home talk less of you being here in this f*****g school too. Just look at you.... to weak and werewolves like you are useless to the pack reason I still do not understand why my parents treat you so well cuz to me you are no different from an omega. I've told you and this will be the last time I will be repeating myself. Stay away from me cuz the next time this happens, I won't be this kind.

"I threw her back to the floor and my friends just laughed at her as she sat there looking no where else but the floor so we left her there."

"Hey man that was harsh said Claude a little pissed."

"And who said I give a damn about it." I replied furrowing my eyebrows."

"Tell me something dude, Kathleen has been a good and loving girl from day one so why do you harbour so much hatred for her? Asked Claude."

"She is weak thus she is not fit to be in our pack and apart from that she has stolen the love and affection of both my parents and brother so tell me isn't that enough reason to hate her?"

"Nathan is right we don't need weak werewolves in our pack Jane seconded."

"Goodness that's no reason to me and how sure are you she is weak? You know, most people take our respect for weakness and our calmness for cowardice. So if I were you Nathan, I won't conclude she is weak cuz all I see is Kathleen respecting you not scared of you and I hope that a day doesn't come when you will have to beg at her feet." Claude said."

"That won't be impossible and hey remember am the future Alpha and will bow to no one."

"We will see about that."

After saying that he left us. Why is he acting strange like he knew what he was saying but I brushed it at the back of my mind as we continued to the cafeteria." We entered the cafeteria and I sighted my brother looking pissed about something then Kathleen took a glance at our direction and back to her plate. My brother said something and was coming my direction foaming and before I knew it he gave me a hard blow which landed me on the floor but before I could retaliate, we were separated gosh what a luck I thought."

"How dare you Carl I yelled furiously.

"The next time you hurt princess I promise you Nathan you will be receiving more than a punch from me." I've never seen my brother this pissed jeez that b***h.

"Ooh I see so she ran to you. I laughed a humourless laugh. " I knew it; I've always known she is as weak as a baby. she can't even handle her own matters always running to someone for help what a weakling I huffed."

"Don't you dare call her that Carl growl and beside she didn't say a word. For how long will torture her for how long Nathan? I kept quiet all those times thinking you will one day change but no you are still the monster you've always been but I tell you today Nathan, if you ever lay a hand on princess again, I won't only punch you but I will so beat you up so Nathan do not provoke the beast in me.

He took her by the hand and left leaving me frozen at the same spot for I still couldn't believe that my brother who has always respected me disrespected me today for a girl who is not even our blood. That increased my hatred for her so when I regain myself, I noticed people were still staring so I yelled at them.

"What y'all looking at huh?

Everyone got back to what they were doing before the scene. My friends tried to calm me down but I ignored them heading home for my day has already been messed up. I got home where mom and Dad were having a conversation at the sitting room."

"Why are you home this early? Dad asked

"And what happened to your face? Mom asked as she rushed to take a look at it."

"Why don't you all ask your son I replied pissed."

"Carl will never do that mom said."

"Your mom is right Carl will never do that Dad seconded."

Jeez this people think Carl is so perfect that he can't even hurt a fly. I rolled my eyes when mom got our first aid kit and began treating my bruises. Okay then let's wait for him to return so you can all ask him. An hour later Carl and Kathleen entered the house and froze seeing my parents staring at them with questioning eyes. He pulled that b***h closer to him as they approached us.

"Hi Dad, mom carl greeted."

"Carl why did you fight your brother dad asked sternly."

"Dad why don't you ask your son what he did first?" Carl replied with a dull tone.

"You won't talk to me that way young man." Dad growled.

"I'm sorry father but if your so call future Alpha of son here doesn't stop harassing princess, then this won't be the last."

"What are you talking about mother asked."

"If it may interest you all to know, Nathan here has always been cruel to princess to the extend where he even laid his hands on her. This has been going on ever since she came here and today he did it again. Take a long at her chin the marks are still very visible.

Mom took a look and gasp looking furiously at me while dad did same."

" Nathan how dare you mom yelled looking at me pissed while in Dad's eyes, I saw disappointment. You are suppose to protect your own not the other way round. How can you hurt your sister .....is that how I raised you?

"I'm disappointed at you Nat. Is that how you will treat your subjects when you become Alpha? I order you to apologise to Kathleen.

"Now Nathan mother seconded."

My father yelled and I felt embarrassed so I bent my head thinking if I should apologize or not. I got to my feet stepped closer to Carl and Kathleen while looking her straight in the face.

"I'm sorry Kathleen it won't happen again." I said calmly but deep down I was dying with rage and I know my brother sensed it as his hold on her tighten."

"It better not cuz I won't be this calm next time father said sternly. Though I apologized to her, my hatred for her just triple."

" Kathleen dear go to your room and take a cool bath then come down for dinner. Same goes to you two mom said pointing at Carl and I so we all headed to our various rooms."

"I got to my room freshen up and was heading downstairs when my mind told me to confront my brother so there I barged into Carl's room."

"And now what do you want brother." He asked sarcastically.

" You do know I will soon be the Alpha right. I asked smirking

"Get to the point as you can see I'm busy." He said rolling his eyes then I became serious.

"Why are you so protective of her she's not even your mate I whisper-yelled cuz I was already loosing my patience."

"That's none of your business Nat so leave. He said but I laughed as I strode round his room."

" So is my brother in love with a nobody, a weakling... He didn't let me finish as he immediately pushed and pinned me to the wall. He took me by suprise."

"Don't you dare call her name's cuz she is worth more than those bitches you hangout with and even more better than you future Alpha he growled."

I couldn't speak well cuz he was choking me and guess he got the memo as he released me. I fell to the floor coughing due to the impact."

"You might be the future Alpha but know this today my strength supercedes yours in every aspect so don't push me brother now leave my room."

I immediately left. You might find it strange but he is right he is stronger than I am and that really bothers me cuz I'm the future Alpha so naturally, I was suppose to be stronger than him not the other way round. I just headed down for dinner where mom, dad and the b***h were already seated. I took my seat at my usual spot and not too long, Carl made his way to the table too. He sits beside her as usual uhhhh how I wish I could strangle her."

"Hey princess are you okay Carl asked smiling."

"I'm okay Carl she replied smiling back." I just gave her a disgusted look.

"Come ok kids let's eat mom said as we all dug in. We ate quietly when my father's right hand man and friend came running. He is Lucas second in command the beta."

" I'm sorry for rushing in like this but I'm afraid the rogues are at it again. Few of them were seen around the territory and I think they are back to complete what they started."

"Damn those rogues Dad said pissed off.

"My father woke up and excused himself from the table leaving everyone restless. This is not to be taken lightly cuz the rogues once did attack us and though we won, it did take the life of good people including the parents of that b***h.

"Goodness this rogues are so annoying mom said through gritten teeth as I saw my brother's fist clenched and unclenched."

"Mum calm down we will handle it okay.... Carl said to her like it was nothing serious."

"I just lost my appetite I'm going to my room you guys go ahead okay.....mom said."

"Me too I said getting up and left with Mom."
