Yichen sat beside his younger brother. "Father wants us in the main hall." Yuze closed the book. "Why?" "I don't know." Yichen's expression became slightly serious. "He received a message this morning." Yuze looked toward the distant mountains. "From whom?" "The Shen family." For the first time, Yuze's expression changed slightly. The Shen family. Even the peaceful Lan family knew their reputation. Yichen noticed his brother's silence. "Don't worry. Father will handle it." Yuze nodded. "I know." He stood and carefully picked up his book.
