"Where is she" a voice bellowed into the silent night. Six people are seen kneeling on floor in the centre of a living room, trembling with their heads bowed. the eldest male replied, " This is everyone, there is no one else." A very childish voice spoke out surprising the people kneeling, "That's a lie. I saw her close to the lake. we both played together. Her name is Valerie. I saw her enter this house. Your Alpha confirmed it" the eldest female kneeling on the floor raised her head to look at the little boy sitting on their head sofa before speaking, " Kid, you must be mistaken. our house has no other child in the house. all of our children are here. no one bears the name Valerie in this home. The Alpha might not have heard you well". A slap sound rang out and the woman held her red swollen cheeks with hatred shinning in her eyes. out of instinct, all the males went to guide the three females. Pushing their mates behind them with their father taking the lead growling. the Alpha stepped forward, he had power emanating from him that made everyone around him submit with their heads bowing to the side revealing the right part of their necks. he kicked the man kneeling infront of him causing him to hit a pillar at a side of the house. The injured man passed out immediately. Then the Alpha made a gesture for one of his subordinates to go check the house for the child. The eldest woman ran forward trying to stop the man from entering but she was kicked away by another man. The whole family was surrounded by men, keeping them from leaving their kneeling spot. the man who went into the rooms suddenly came out with a crying child. The child looked like she had been forcefully woken up from her sleep. she was brought forward to the alpha who picked up the child and alpha commanded her to stop crying. the woman saw this and started wailing, crying for her youngest child. Her crying woke her mate and turned her children furious. The entire family struggled against the men surrounding them just to the get to their youngest. After a while, the entire house was quiet and a couple of people left the house with two children. One of which was Valerie Haller, the youngest and only daughter to Gamma Archer Haller of Blackwood pack. The next day, the whole of Blackwood pack knew what had happened in the Haller family and how their youngest child was forcefully taken away from them by the most cruel and dangerous alpha who always got what he wants no matter the means. PRESENT DAY. Valerie woke up sweating, her whole pillow was filled with sweat. She sat up as she checked the time. "s**t" she cursed. As she rushed into the bathroom to clean up and get ready for the day. Valerie Haller is a beautiful blonde hybrid female who is both werewolf and witch. She has sharp big round sky blue eyes, full lips, sharp long jawline and a nice smile. She is the only hybrid in her family that got the full sides of both of her parents. To make her more special, she is an elementalist with the water attribute. All her brothers were full werewolf and half warlock. Their magic had restrictions and thanks to their strong father's gene, they could full shift into their wolves without any problem. Valerie's family special abilities of having magic was kept hidden from their pack. Their pack members except their mates only knew that their mother was a witch but none of the children had it. When Valerie was taken from her family, none of her capturer knew her full identity. Valerie left her house and headed for the pack house dressed in a short black leather skirt, a white off shoulder crop top and her small sized black leather knapsack. She got to the pack house and went straight to the Luna's office to report for duty. She tagged her compulsory daily visit to the pack house as work. Ever since she had been taken away from her pack and family, Valerie has been the Alpha's son maid and playmate. She was taxed with the responsibility of waking him up each morning, ensuring that he is neatly cleaned and dressed, that he eats daily and at the right time. To be his playmate even when she never felt like playing, she had to pretend to play with him. She was also trained every night time by the head warrior to be his guard. The only rest and personal time she had was sleep time. Each time she came late, she was punished with food. Only Eric, the Alpha's son was allowed to hit her. Her only friend was Tonia from school. The Alpha's son was the only child. He was spoilt and pampered from birth. His parents had no time to stay around with him so they hired a nanny but that wasn't enough for them. They took her from her family. "Come in Valerie" the Luna said in a sickly sweet voice before Valerie could knock on her office door. "Late again aren't we?" "Luna" Valerie greeted with her head bowed. " So which of the meals shall we be skipping or do I reduce your free time and make you come here on Saturdays too?". " Breakfast, I'll skip breakfast" Valerie respond quickly. "Then get going. Don't forget to persuade Eric to go find his mate. He is already twenty yet he plays around. I really need to retire. Understood?" "Yes Luna. " "If I recall, your birthday is in a week. The mating ball is also in a week, am I right ?" "Yes Luna". " Then prepare Eric for the mating ball. I hear its scheduled at the supernatural square. " Valerie nodded. "You would be going with him to ensure that he doesn't ignore his mate. And remember what I have always told you whenever you find your mate. " Valerie nodded "You reject him. Except if your mate is Eric. You should be grateful that our family took good care of you. We fed you, sent you to school, gave you your own house and car. You are to serve Eric all your life and do as he says including warming his bed. You can never return home. Your family hates you remember?" Valerie said nothing but nodded and listened while the luna started her usual sermon of convincing Valerie of how much her family hates her. "They sent you out of the house and out of their lives for good. They don't deserve you. Now go pack up Eric's things. He went out last night and hasn't come back. The weekend starts tomorrow and the ball is in four days." "Yes Luna"
