Chapter 5

Travis POV

I kept looking around the halls trying to catch a glimpse of Kenzie. I finally saw her after classes had ended. She was talking Cory and some girl. I smiled as I took in her beauty. I saw Cory wink at the girls and walk toward me. “What was the wink for?” I asked as Cory stood beside me.

“I told them I would see them later” he laughed. “What time do you want to go to the club?”

“Let’s be there around 9” I said.

“Alright. I’ll be at your apartment around 8:30. See you later man” Cory waved as he walked off.

I looked back to where Kenzie and that girl were standing. I was a little disappointed to see that she was no longer there. I sighed and headed toward my car. I only lived twenty minutes away from the college, so I was home in no time. I grabbed something to eat before getting ready for tonight. I jumped in the shower, then headed to my closet.

“What should I wear tonight?” I murmured. After a few minutes I settled for ripped jeans, a white tee, and my black leather jacket. I gelled my hair and put on some cologne. There was a knock on the door before it opened.

“Hey man. I’m here” Cory called out.

I walked into the living room. “You ready?”

“Yep. Let’s go.”

We walked in the club and looked around. I scanned the room and my eyes fell upon Kenzie at the bar with her friend. There she is, I thought. Cory and I walked to the other end of the bar and ordered a beer. “You see Kenzie, don’t you?” Cory smirked. I spun around and looked at Cory. “Go. Her and Bristol are headed to the dance floor.”

“Thanks, Cory.” Cory nodded and turned his attention to the blond standing next to him. I made my way to where Kenzie was. When I spotted her, I saw Bristol walk away leaving Kenzie by herself. I made my way over to her. I walked up behind her and put my hands on her hips. She quickly spun around.

“I knew we would see each other again” I said smiling. I looked her up and down, amazed by how her black dress molded to her perfect curves. When my landed on her red, luscious lips, I couldn’t but to lick mine. My gaze then landed on her piercing green eyes. “Would you like to dance?” I hopefully asked her.

“Of course, Travis” she said smiling.

We started to move with the music. I was behind her with my hands on her hips, while she was grinding her perfect ass against me. I leaned down to her neck and planted a kiss there. She responded by tilting her head and giving me better access. “Do you want to go grab a drink?” I whispered in her ear. She nodded and I grabbed her hand. I led her to the bar.

“What would the beautiful lady like to drink?”

“I’ll have a long island iced tea” she said, and I called the bartender over. “One long island and a beer, please” I said to the bartender, who nodded and got started on our drinks.

I turned back to Kenzie. “Are you here alone?”

“No. I’m here with my friend, Bristol. She pleaded with me to come out with her tonight” she chuckled. “But I have no idea where she is now” she said while looking around the club. “Oh, there she is with Cory.”

I looked in the direction she was pointing. There were Bristol and Cory on the dance floor grinding against each other. Kenzie and I looked at each other and laughed. “How do you know Cory?”

“He’s friends with Bristol.”

“Cory’s my best friend” I said with a smile as the bartender brought us our drinks.

“Small world” she said giggling. That giggle will do me in I thought to myself.

We finished our drinks and I grabbed her hand. “Do you want to get out of here?” She looked at our hands, looked at Bristol and Cory, then looked up at me. “Yes” she nodded.

After she text Bristol and I sent a text to Cory, we were heading out to my car. I opened the passenger door for so she could get in. “Thanks” she smiled. I shut her door and jogged over to the driver side and climbed in. I put the key in the ignition and started it up. I looked over to Kenzie and saw that she was smiling while staring out the windshield. “Is it ok if we go back to my place? We could watch a movie.”

“That sounds nice” she said turning to look at me. She smiled and I swear I almost melted.
