Easton POV
I decided to grab some food from Shirley’s Café. I had been so busy with Sarah dragging me along to go shopping with her today and realized that we hadn’t eaten yet. We had spent nearly all day at the mall. Sarah has expensive taste and is very picky. I was getting more annoyed with every store she dragged me in. “Babe, I’m hungry. Let’s stop off at the café.”
“Sure, I guess. I would prefer if we could eat at Dorian’s though,” she said, and I gritted my teeth.
“Dorian’s is one of the most expensive restaurants in town.” I swear this damn girl thinks I’m made of money or something. She rolled her eyes and kept looking at dresses hanging on the rack in the department store. “Will you hurry up and pick one?”
After about another hour and a half and four more stores, we were finally walking back to the car. I threw her bags into the trunk and hopped in the driver seat, started the engine, and pulled out of that damn parking lot.
We finally got to the café after twenty minutes. Of course, she made sure to complain the entire car ride over. She grunted as we walked into the café and I rolled my eyes. This b***h is getting annoying.
I looked around for an empty table and I saw a girl sitting in a booth in the corner. Kenzie. And she was a guy. What the hell? It hasn’t even been a week since we broke up. I was seething. How could she already be with another guy? I walked up to where they were sitting with Sarah in tow behind me. “Kenzie, nice to see you,” I said scowling at her.
She dropped the fry that she had in her hand and turned to look at me. “Easton,” was all she said. She looked past me at Sarah and turned back toward the guy she was sitting with.
“Aren’t you going to introduce me to your friend?” I questioned her.
“Nope.”
“Why not?”
“Because it’s none of your business” she growled.
“I believe it is considering we just broke up not even a week ago.” I was hoping to get a reaction out of the guy, but he just sat there staring at me with an amused look on his face. I wanted to punch him in his face.
“Babe let’s go. I’m hungry and I don’t even know why you are talking to this b***h anyway,” Sarah said beside me, rolling her eyes. This woman is getting on my last damn nerve.
“b***h, huh? I think you should take a very long look in the mirror,” Kenzie snapped.
Sarah rolled her eyes. “At least he chose me over you. We both know that I’m better than you. Why else would he choose me?”
“I think it’s time for you two to leave,” the guy Kenzie was sitting with spoke up. I glared at him. I balled my fists, really wanting to punch him.
“And who are you to tell me what to do?” I was getting angry. Who the hell does this guy think he is?
“I’m her boyfriend.”
