I was enjoying the moment, I turned my eyes to her and quickly noticed the swirl of red running through them. It took me off guard, she normally only shifts in moments of extreme emotion, from what I could tell she was rather calm at the moment.
When I ask if she needs to take a pill she shakes her head. I wait a moment to see if the red returns but she's to be within control.
I graze my fingers down her neck pausing before I reach her chest.
"Want to try some gambling?"
Her eyes look out over the tables and machines and she genuinely looks excited by the idea.
"I don't know how, but I'll watch! I'm really good at reading people."
She winks and I chuckle darkly.
