We were now pulling up to the massive Casino, Alaric driving. We had packed my bag so we could go to his Chicago estate immediately after the party. It kind of terrified me being thrown into all this so quickly. Hades made me put the ring back on, so people knew I belonged to him, I knew mob men could be possessive, but Hades makes it seem like he would kill anyone who glanced at me.
Before we exit the car he hands me a pill with a glass of water and I gratefully swallow it down, lord knows the last place I want change is here.
Hades exits the car first and opens my door blocking my view while offering me his hand with a soft encouraging smile.
I entwine my fingers with his and as soon as we step out of the car we're surrounded by hundreds of people waiting to get in.
