Chapter 9:Her Pain

“So, you think you can go ahead of me and discuss the terms and conditions with them, huh? I will not show you your real place tonight.” Seraphina was kneeling in front of a wall with the list of her ancestors' names to repent for her sins. Her father didn't like the way she went straight to the Romano brothers and discussed all the details with them. Roberto went to discuss the amount of the contract when he saw her there.

It was an old family tradition in her pack to punish unruly kids, and she had faced this type of punishment many times in the past. It was nothing new for her, so she was kneeling with a blank face on the floor for the last half an hour while her father was lecturing her about her mistakes. She knew what was coming after this lecture… wh*pping… which was also familiar to her.

Even though Lila also made many mistakes in her life, she never had to face this kind of disciplinary treatment. She argued about it a lot over the unfair treatment of her parents to her, over the biasness in their behavior towards her, but now… she was calm. She finally found out the reason why they were doing all this, and her heart was calm.

Because she knew that she wasn’t their slave anymore. She was free, but she had to find out the address of the place where they kept her real mother. After that, she will not forgive them. She will make them pay for their unjust behavior over the years.

Her train of thought broke with a sharp bite of pain, and a scream left her mouth. She looked over her shoulder, and her father was holding the thorn whip in his hands. He had never used this one on her before… it was the most brutal and painful punishment for her life, and her screams echoed in her house while Raina and Lila were enjoying the show without any shame or guilt.

“F*ck! Do you think she will like this surprise?” Blaze asked, and Aiden nodded with a smile.

“This is the stupidest idea of giving someone a surprise visit. And I am the leader of the stupid community for acting on it, too.” Aiden suppressed her laugh after hearing his comment.

“Believe me, Brother! All the alpha females like these kinds of cute things a lot. Besides, I am also accompanying you in this, so nope… You are not alone. If something goes wrong, then we will both bear its consequences," Aiden said, and Blaze nodded before looking towards her window. They were standing under her window and trying to give her a surprise visit in the middle of the night, in a sweet, love-kind gesture.

Blaze finally gathered the courage in his heart, climbed the wall, and peeked inside her room. Her room was covered in darkness, and she was lying on her stomach in the middle of the bed in a haphazard way. He quietly jumped inside and gave a green signal to Aiden. Both of them looked around for anyone, but when there was no movement, they sighed with relief.

“She is already asleep. What should we do now?” Blaze asked Aiden, and he scratched the back of his head.

“I don’t know, Brother! I thought she would be awake at this hour of the night because she is a workaholic.” Blaze was about to give him a piece of his mind when a loud whimper escaped her lips, and she moved a little. Both of them stilled in their place, but in the next moment, they froze at what they saw in front of them.

Seraphina was wearing a thin camisole, and her back was covered with blood. Blaze quickly moved towards her and checked her pulse. She wasn’t sleeping; she was barely conscious due to pain and blood loss. They were so excited to meet her and give her a surprise visit that they didn’t notice the scent of blood at first, but now… it was strong in the room. Aiden turned on the lights and inhaled sharply when he noticed all the whip marks on her body.

Whip and thorn marks marred her milky smooth skin. Blaze touched it slowly, and she whimpered loudly.

“F*ck! Who the hell dares to put their hands on her? I will f*cking rip them apart,” Blaze said, and Aiden put a hand on his shoulder.

“We have to take her to the hospital first, Blaze. She needs immediate medical attention.” Aiden tried to calm him a bit, and he nodded. He quickly picked her up in his hands and walked towards the window.

“We can go through the door, Brother!” Aiden suggested, but Blaze shook his head in no and then jumped straight to the ground floor. His wolf was already on the edge.

Both of them rushed towards their car, and Aiden quickly contacted their pack doctor. Blaze put her unconscious body in the back seat, and Aiden put her head in his lap while Blaze started the engine. His grip tightened on the steering wheel, and he started imagining all the ways to punish her b@stard of a father for doing this to her.

“I will f*cking kill him with my bare hands,” Aiden growled in anger, and Blaze increased the speed of his car. Aiden called Dominic and Caine to the pack hospital directly.

They needed to discuss this matter as soon as possible because there was no way in hell they were about to let her live in that damn house. She will reside with them, under their care and supervision, regardless of her consent. Blaze took a deep breath to calm his mind, but it wasn't working at all. How could they do this to her? She was so capable, beautiful, and perfect in all senses. Men will go to war over her, and her own parents did this to her... F*cking hell!!!
