Rebellious Luna
The White Fang Palace had a problem.
A serious problem.
A dangerous problem.
A problem named Summit Angel Warm.
At least, according to Froz White Fang.
The future Alpha stood inside the council chamber with a headache.
Not from politics.
Not from rival clans.
Not from border disputes.
No.
His headache had golden eyes, endless energy, and absolutely no respect for rules.
“Alpha?” One of the elders cautiously spoke.
Froz looked up.
The elder immediately regretted it.
“Continue.”
The meeting resumed.
Trade reports.
Military reports.
Territory reports.
Everything proceeded normally.
Until the doors burst open.
BANG!
The entire room froze.
Froz closed his eyes. He didn’t even need to look. Only one person entered rooms like they were invading enemy territory. Summit Angel Warm.
“Froz!”
The council members looked horrified.
The guards looked nervous.
The elders looked ready to faint.
Sam smiled brightly. “Good morning.”
“It’s noon.”
“Close enough.”
One elder nearly cried.
Froz slowly opened his eyes. “Why are you here?”
Sam walked into the room.
Completely ignoring every social rule in existence.
“I was bored.” The answer somehow made things worse.
One elder whispered a prayer.
Another looked ready to retire.
Froz pinched the bridge of his nose. “Leave.”
“No.” The response came immediately.
Naturally.
“Summit.”
“No.”
The council members exchanged glances. Apparently this conversation was familiar. Very familiar. Sam casually sat down in an empty chair.
The Alpha stared.
The elders stared.
Everyone stared.
She smiled. “What were we talking about?"
Silence.
Pure silence.
Then—
To everyone’s shock—
Queen Rhed entered.
Carrying tea.
Again.
Nobody knew how she always appeared at the perfect moment.
“Wonderful.” The Queen smiled.
“Everyone’s together.”
Several elders looked like they wanted to resign.
Immediately.
An hour later, the meeting ended. Mostly because nobody could concentrate anymore. Not with Sam present.
The moment the council members left, Froz stood.
“So.”
Sam smiled.
“So.”
The Alpha crossed his arms. “You interrupted an official meeting.”
“You looked bored.”
“I was working.”
“You looked bored while working.”
His eye twitched.
A dangerous sign.
A very dangerous sign.
Unfortunately, Sam had never possessed survival instincts.
“What if I make a new rule?” Froz asked.
She narrowed her eyes.
“What rule?”
“No entering council meetings.”
She grinned.
“I’ll enter through a window.”
The Alpha stared.
Then stared longer.
Trying to determine if she was joking.
Unfortunately—
She wasn’t.
Metro suddenly appeared beside the door.
Like some kind of overly professional ghost.
“She’s not joking.”
Froz sighed.
Of course she wasn’t.
The following morning brought another disaster. One entirely of Sam’s making. The palace servants usually worked quietly.
Efficiently.
Professionally.
Silently.
That morning—
They were laughing.
Froz noticed immediately.
The Alpha walked through the main hall.
Confused.
Suspicious.
Dangerously suspicious.
Then he saw it.
Color.
The palace had color.
His palace.
The palace.
The White Fang Palace.
Someone had tied blue and gold ribbons around several columns. Flower arrangements decorated the hallways. Small lanterns hung from the ceilings.
The atmosphere felt…
Alive.
His expression darkened.
A nearby servant immediately panicked.
“My Alpha!”
Froz pointed toward the decorations. “What is this?”
The servant swallowed.
Then pointed.
Slowly.
Toward the staircase. Froz followed the direction. And immediately found the culprit.
Sam.
Standing on top of a ladder. Holding another ribbon.
“Good morning!”
The Alpha stared.
Long and hard.
Trying to process what he was seeing.
“You decorated my palace.”
“You’re welcome.”
“It wasn’t a request.”
“It looked depressed.”
The servants immediately pretended to work.
Very hard.
Very, very hard.
Nobody wanted to be involved.
Froz folded his arms. “Take them down.”
Sam gasped. "No.”
“Yes.”
“No.”
“Yes.”
“No.”
Their argument lasted fifteen minutes.
The servants listened to every second.
By the end of it—
The decorations remained. And somehow Froz walked away first.
Again.
The servants immediately erupted into whispers. The future Luna was undefeated.
That afternoon, Sam discovered something fascinating. The White Fang Palace had children.
Not many.
Mostly warriors’ sons and daughters. They rarely entered the main palace. And they were absolutely terrified of Froz.
Naturally.
Sam decided to fix that.
A terrible idea.
An absolutely terrible idea.
Which made it perfect.
By sunset, she had gathered nearly twenty children in one of the courtyards. They were playing games.
Laughing.
Running.
Having fun.
Something White Fang Palace rarely experienced. The sound carried across the grounds. Straight toward Froz’s office.
The Alpha looked up from his paperwork.
Suspicious.
Very suspicious.
Then he heard laughter.
Children’s laughter.
His suspicion doubled.
Because whenever Summit Angel Warm was involved—
Trouble followed.
Always.
Without exception.
He stepped outside.
Following the noise.
The moment he arrived—
Chaos greeted him.
Children running.
Snowball fights.
Laughter.
Excitement.
And right in the middle—
Sam.
Covered in snow.
Smiling.
Happy.
Alive.
For a moment—
Froz simply watched.
One little girl suddenly noticed him.
And froze.
Immediately.
The other children followed.
One by one.
The entire courtyard became silent.
Sam turned.
Then groaned dramatically. “Great.”
Froz raised an eyebrow. “What?”
“You scared them.”
The children looked guilty.
Froz looked confused. Something he rarely experienced. Then a small boy stepped forward.
Very small.
Very brave.
Or very foolish.
Probably both.
“My Alpha.”
Froz looked down.
The boy swallowed hard.
Then held out a snowball.
The entire courtyard stopped breathing.
Sam’s eyes widened.
The children looked horrified.
Metro, who had somehow appeared nearby, immediately prepared for disaster. The boy lifted the snowball higher.
Offering it.
Like a gift.
Froz stared.
Nobody moved.
Nobody spoke.
Then—
Unexpectedly—
The Alpha accepted it.
The children gasped.
Sam blinked.
Metro looked surprised.
Even Froz seemed surprised.
The boy smiled.
A huge smile.
And suddenly—
The fear disappeared.
Just like that.
The children began talking again.
Laughing again.
Playing again.
Something warm settled over the courtyard.
Something rare.
Something beautiful.
Then Sam ruined it.
Naturally.
She threw a snowball directly at Froz’s face.
SMACK.
Silence.
The entire world stopped.
The children froze.
Metro froze.
The guards froze.
Even the wind seemed to stop.
Snow slowly slid down Froz’s cheek.
The Alpha stared.
Slowly.
Dangerously.
Toward Sam.
She smiled.
Then immediately ran.
“SUMMIT ANGEL WARM.”
The children exploded with laughter.
For the first time in years—
The courtyard heard something else.
A sound nobody expected.
A sound nobody believed.
A sound so rare that several servants later argued about it.
Froz White Fang laughed.
Only briefly.
Only once.
But he laughed.
That night, Sam sat on a balcony overlooking the mountains. The snow had finally stopped. Stars filled the sky. Everything felt peaceful. A soft knock interrupted her thoughts.
She turned.
Froz stood in the doorway.
Holding something.
A blanket.
Sam blinked. “What?”
The Alpha looked annoyed. “You’re cold.”
“I’m fine.”
“No.” He tossed the blanket toward her.
She caught it automatically.
Then stared.
Confused.
Again.
Lately, he kept doing that.
Small things.
Quiet things.
Things that didn’t match his reputation.
Or perhaps—
Things that matched the real Froz.
Not the rumors.
Not the stories.
Him.
The Alpha leaned against the railing. Looking toward the stars. Neither spoke for a while.
Then Sam broke the silence. “As a child…”
Froz looked at her.
She smiled. “You really chased butterflies?”
The Alpha immediately regretted coming here.
She laughed.
Bright.
Warm.
Beautiful.
And for some reason—
He didn’t want the sound to stop.
Not anymore.
Not ever.
Neither of them noticed it. But somewhere between arguments, snowball fights, and stolen smiles—
The distance between them had started disappearing.
Slowly.
Naturally.
Like winter giving way to spring.
And though neither would admit it—
The Cold-Blooded Alpha and his Rebellious Luna were beginning to become something more than strangers.
Something more than enemies.
Something dangerous.
Something neither heart was prepared for.
