Chapter 6

The next morning... Amir awakens in the guest bedroom at his uncle Muhammed's house, as he decided not to return to the hotel for the night. He's still very angry about what happened in the elevator. In addition, to alleviate disastrous emotion, he prefers to spend more time with his uncle, whom he has much without seeing and visiting, and with whom he gets along very well. Rather than good, it is with the only member of the Saud family that Amir gets on excellently with, apart from his uncle, his father's brother and the current king of Arabia. “And when will you return to the country?" His uncle Muhammed asks him. “I don't know, I'm still not very sure, but I suppose that in six months when I have to attend the business congress of the americas." His uncle Muhammed nods his head and, taking a sip of coffee, whispers: “Son, honestly your situation with Mohamed worries me. Remember what he did to me, that boy is mad with power." “I know, he didn't flinch from rubbing it in my face. Everything he did with you and what he is capable of doing with me ... he made it very clear to me." “You must be careful, he has arms to take. You must be stealthy and be aware of who you have around you. At this stage of the situation, no one is completely trustworthy." “Yes, I know. Although the as such directly does not concern me. What he does have me thinking about is my security personnel ... What if he threatens or extorts them against me?" “That's what I mean when I tell you to be careful, you have to be attentive to everything." After having breakfast with his uncle, and following the conversation for long more minutes during rest, he says goodbye to him and together with all his security entourage, Amir returns to the WoodHouse Hotel. ****** As Emily parks her car in front of her flower shop, which is only two stores away from her grand hotel, she is called by her best friend and she answers the call from the car phone. Since she has never liked driving and talking on the phone with the aforementioned in hand. “Good morning Katherine !!" She whispers with remarkable enthusiasm. “Good morning best friend !! Are you coming?" Her friend screams with excitement. “Yes." Emily nods her head. “I'm coming, I'll see you in my office in a bit, I'll stop by the florist first." “OK. it's good." Katherine exclaims excitedly. After being at the florist for more than an hour, she leaves her car with the hotel's parking lot and immediately, Emily walks at a steady pace to reception, greets her employees and then, when she arrives at her office, Katherine is waiting for her sitting in a of the fine chairs in front of his desk. Emily smiles when she sees Katherine and then sighs when she hears her say: “Now yes ... Give me all the details !!" How was it with the Arab in there ... in the elevator?" She asks anxiously. “Last night I couldn't ask you anything, you escaped me. But today, you won't be able to run away." Emily laughs at his comment “He's a cocky arrogant." He whispers as he stops smiling. “And I still can't bear it." “But you were with him alone for more than two hours!!" Katherine raises her voice curiously. “Something must have happened and you must tell me about it!!" Emily laughs again and shakes her head. “Nothing happened, absolutely nothing." “That?" Katherine opens her lips in shock as she expected more. “Yep. The way you hear it, at first we argued a lot. I was in a panic and he, the only thing he did was tell me to shut up. That's what he knows how to do" She Mock “Send, send and command.” Emily's breath hitches at the memories. “It is almost impossible to deal with it.” “AND?" “And nothing Katherine, at some point the elevator began to descend abruptly. I was scared and without thinking, I ran up to him and hugged him, he joked a bit but he hugged me and when everything stopped, we sat down and that's it." “And that's it? Simple as that? Did you just sit down? Did you guys not talk about anything? So we still don't know why he is so angry?" "Yep." Emily smiles. “I can not understand it. I thought..." “You think a lot friend, that's your biggest problem." Katherine widens her eyes and then, looking at her grumpy, she laughs out loud with Emily. "Well ... at least he hugged you!" She jokes and Emily rolls her eyes. Amir returns to the hotel at nine in the morning and for a second, he looks around for the nosy maid with whom he got locked in the elevator yesterday, but then forgets her when entering his room. When he's done grooming, he goes back to bed and sleeps for about twenty minutes. He wakes up at ten o'clock and gets ready to go to the meeting that was postponed yesterday because of what happened. When he is about to leave the room there is a knock on the door and when he asks, they announce that it is room service. Reluctantly and with his volatile nature, Amir turns around and puts his high-value belongings in their respective luggage, when everything is well hidden, he opens the door and meets Mrs. Marta. “Good morning, Your Highness." She greets him with her kind voice and charisma, Amir just nods as he looks at her distantly. Then, after Marta, a waiter enters with a tray of snacks, including chocolate. Amir is furious when he sees it. “Are you making fun of me? Didn't I tell one of her classmates yesterday that I hate chocolate?" Reproach “Do me a favor and take that thing out of my room, just with its smell I can already feel how bitterness invades my system more than necessary." The blushing waiter nods and puts the tray on the fine wooden table, takes the small cup of chocolates and leaves the room. Five minutes later, Amir is at the reception with all his entourage and approaching the receptionist, he asks in a deep voice and with that peculiar tone of voice that characterizes him: “I would like to speak to one of the hotel owners, or the manager, please ... Could you tell me where or how I can find them?" “The owner's office, Miss Rose, is over there." The secretary points to a corridor in the back and ... “If you like, I can save you an appointment on her agenda." “Like making an appointment?" He replies arrogantly, “I need to talk to her now! I don't have time to wait for a date with her." “Sir, Miss Rose is busy right now. She made sure that no one interrupted her." "I'm nobody, young lady." With that said, Amir turns away from the receptionist and walks down the long corridor that the girl showed him, until he reaches a brown door with a gold plaque on which it reads: «Office of Lic. Emily Rose» He knocks on the door twice and a soft voice behind it indicates that: “Come on in..." Emily stands in front of the large window looking out at the street while talking on the phone. “Sounds good to me. See him there in a few hours and again thanks for his help. You are very kind, I will be forever grateful, the whole team will be." She smiles upon hearing the aforementioned answer and ends the call. Tired and stubborn, she murmurs believing that she is speaking to her secretary: “Rachel I asked you earnestly that I don't want interruptions ..." When she is about to turn around, Amir's voice leaves her speechless, unable to finish the sentence. "Miss Rose ... Good morning." Emily turns and when Amir sees her he frowns and his seriousness was more abnormal than possible when he saw her in front of him. “You?" He speaks to her angrily. “But what are you doing here? Will you also do a private dance for the owner?" Emily squints her eyes and, pursing her lips, ignores his rudeness and replies: “Good morning, Your Highness. What I can help?" He snorts and closing the office door, mutters: "You, nothing ... I'm looking for the owner." He looks at her indifferently for a few seconds and stares at the big and beautiful office, then she speaks again “Does she let you in here?" “Of course." Emily smiles while inside she is deprived of laughter. He has no idea who he is talking to. “You are a match." He rolls his eyes. “Do you know where she is?" “Yes." She affirms. “And well? What are you waiting for?" He blurts out and in turn makes a gesture with his hands. “Tell me now! I need to talk to her." “You are in front of her sir." Amir tilts his head and his jaw drops. “You what?" “What you hear." He closes his mouth and seconds later he speaks again. “Do me a favor and stop joking!" “I'm not kidding, sir. Tell me, how can I help you?" He tilts his head again and stares at her for long minutes, he gazes into her eyes with an unequaled seriousness. A seriousness that really intimidates anyone, even the strongest. All of him does. Noticing visual sincerity and not a bit of a joke in her, Amir whispers: “By Allah!" Exasperated he looks up at the ceiling of the office and turns his back to her. Emily frowns and mutters in confusion ... “By which?" Amir turns abruptly and his beastly gaze says it all. He is angry ... Anyone like her who walks with two men at the same time, cannot go around naming his so beloved Allah.. That is disrespectful. Because Allah for Amir is glorious and omnipotent. “Shut up!" “Listen to me ..." She yells, “Do me a favor and respect. Are you in my office, do not be equaled!" She watches him offended. "Hah !!" He laughs sarcastically. “I only asked one question, nothing more. It is not to be taken personally." “Then you better not ask." Emily snorts tiredly and decides to downplay it. “Can you tell me what you have come for?" She whispers, “Or do you prefer to speak to the manager in case my presence bothers you?" Amir stops smiling and frowns, of course he doesn't want to talk to someone else, not a manager or anything. Nobody else. So he decides to ignore what she has said, to calm the anxiety that her presence generates in him, and without asking permission, he takes a seat in front of Emily's desk and crossing his arms and legs, he observes her attentively. Emily parted her lips and looking at him in amazement at his such audacity, seconds later, she also took a seat in her large semi-leather executive chair. “You will say.” She whispers, resting both hands on the gleaming glass desk. "I come to complain personally, for the lousy service." Emily arches one of her eyebrows and hiding a smile as she purses her lips, responds seriously: “Excuse me?" “You hear me well, miss." He stressed the word 'Ma'am' and Emily cleared her throat. No one had ever called Emily ma'am before. So this is funny to her. Adding to what, this man's level of cheekiness is unbelievable to her, after all his staff have done and treated him, he still complains. Emily can't believe it. «But we have treated him like a king! Unbearable Arab. Stupid!» She takes a deep breath and whispers: “Can you tell me, in what we have not fulfilled? Has any employee been absent?" He nods. “I made it very clear to one of your employees yesterday afternoon that I Hate." He stressed that word. “Chocolate. And I also told him to thank them for the details, but I can't stand chocolate." He shuts up as he watches her nod slightly and then watches her jot in a little notebook. «The Arab man HATES CHOCOLATE. Done, written down. What else does Mr. Unbearable hate? Apart from me of course.» Emily laughs at her thoughts. Amir angry that he thinks she is ignoring him, asks: “Are you listening to me or not?" Emily stops writing in her little notebook and then looks at him determinedly to whisper to him: “Yes, Your Highness, of course. Anything else you want?" Amir grits his teeth as he feels her teasing him and flexing her body forward on her desk, he replies: “This morning your employees brought me chocolate again." He looks at her coldly and is silent for a few seconds. «They are useless ...!» “I don't want him in my room, his only scent disgusts me and puts me in a very bad mood." Emily laughs hearing him say that and Amir immediately shuts up. “Are you making fun of me?" She shakes her head and frowns again. “I don't want to see it in liquid, or in chocolates, or in anything." He blurts out, “Do you understand me?" She nods and smiles slightly at him. “Yes sir. Excuse the misunderstanding, we did not know and she will not happen again. Anything else you want? Amir watches her closely and sees how she taps the pen against his ring finger over and over again. “No." He whispers in a small voice. “But on second thought, in fact, I'd like to finish the reservation, I don't like your hotel." He emphasizes. «Stupid Arab!» This was bad, very bad for the reputation of his hotel. Especially if the Arab leaves and spreads the “bad service" that according to him, he received only because they brought him chocolate as a gift to his room and he does not like that sweet sweet. «Is it the fault of the staff for not knowing that he doesn't like chocolate? He is a wayward and overbearing willful! I HATE HIM!!!» The only fault it's with Amir's team who did not let the hotel management know that he does not like chocolate. Emily is now internally stressed and worried about the situation, but she doesn't show it and far above that, she plays disinterested. She won't indulge Amir, she won't indulge in his manipulation game. What does he intend? That she beg him not to cancel his reservation? No. He is very wrong. Emily will never do such a thing. And she's also very proud to do it. After all, she has no need for it, because another client can come in her place. Even a much more powerful one. Of course, if this Arab does not ruin the image of her much loved business. When she stops analyzing the situation, she nods her head and indifferently whispers: "Well, it is a pity that you have not been satisfied with our service. I will notify my staff to help you and your entire entourage in everything you require." He stands up. “Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a meeting to attend. I am sorry for the damage caused, have a good day and that you are very well sir. She turns around and taking from her phone, bag and notepad, she is about to leave the office, when suddenly she feels Amir behind her, and taking her forearm. He, now he's very angry at her indifference ... “You know what?" He whispers close to her ear. “I've changed my mind ... I don't want to leave the hotel anymore." «Bipolar! Moron!» Emily internally sighs, but on the outside ... She arches one of her eyebrows and looking directly into his eyes, then at that hand so big and strong that he has on his forearm, she murmurs in a small voice because of his closeness: “Oh, no?" “No." He sure firmly. "And why don't you want to leave anymore, sir?" Amir smiles wickedly and sighing replies in his Arabic language: “Haza mukalef jidan." «This is very clear.» Emily with white eyes swallows hard and clearing her throat whispers almost breathlessly: "Jaza what?" Amir lets out a big laugh and that makes Emily angry because she doesn't understand what he has said and she doesn't know if he is making fun of her or if he was rude or NOTHING. “Be content to know that I have changed my mind and no longer want to cancel my room." Internally, Emily sighs again and is relieved. Knowing that he was no longer leaving, she was really afraid that he would ruin the image of her hotel. Now, she ignores the ironies of the Arab's comment and mutters: "Great, it's good. Well, thank you very much, I promise you that what happened with the chocolate will not happen again. I will talk to the manager so that he is the one who takes care of everything you need while you are here and thus, I also avoid the hassle of seeing me. Have a good day!" She snaps out of his grip and when she is about to open the office door, Amir stops her by leaning his back on it. “I don't think so, Miss Rose." His tone of her voice is mocking. “Why not?" She asks, puzzled. “It seems that you haven't understood me yet. Leave me and I'll explain.” He clears his throat. “If my communication is not exclusively with you, who is supposed to be the owner of the place ..." He is silent and staring at her for long seconds, he speaks again. “So, I am afraid there is no deal and consequently, I will leave your hotel." Emily is left in total shock and with her mouth open and out of breath to even breathe, she sees him leave his office without looking back.
