Aera was born with a fragile heart—one that doctors couldn’t fix, and time couldn’t heal. But when she crosses paths with Kael, a mysterious man who never seems to age, she’s pulled into a world where myths breathe and immortals bleed.

Kael has walked centuries, cursed to live forever but forbidden to love. Yet something about Aera—her defiance, her kindness, her mortality—breaks through his cold, endless existence.

As their souls begin to intertwine, ancient prophecies awaken. To save Aera’s life, Kael must defy the gods… and face a fate worse than death.

Can a dying girl and a cursed immortal rewrite what the stars have written?

Chapter 1: The Girl with the Silent Heart
Rain tapped softly on the windowpane of a small, quiet bookstore nestled in the corner of Elaris Town. The scent of old pages and lavender filled the air, wrapping everything in calm melancholy. Aera Lin sat behind the counter, her fingers trailing gently across the edge of a weathered book. She wasn’t reading — not really. Her mind was elsewhere, as it often was — lost in the quiet ache of a past that refused to leave her alone. She had dreams lately. Strange, vivid dreams filled with silver eyes and flames that whispered her name. Dreams that felt too real to be just dreams. She didn’t tell anyone, of course. Who would believe her? She barely believed herself. Just as the clock struck 3 p.m., the bell above the door jingled. He walked in. Tall. Drenched from the rain but somehow untouched by it. Eyes like winter lightning — piercing, unreadable. Silver hair clung to his forehead, but he didn’t bother brushing it away. He didn’t need to. The moment their eyes met, the bookstore stopped breathing. Aera’s heart skipped, not from attraction — but recognition. Like her soul had seen him before. Like her bones remembered. > “Do you know where I can find this?” he asked, voice low, holding up a torn piece of paper. It had the title of a book she had never seen before: “The Curse of the Immortal Flame.” Her throat tightened. That title... it was from one of her dreams. “...Who are you?” she whispered before she could stop herself. He didn’t answer. He only stared — like she was the one he’d been searching for across lifetimes.
