FALL

Suddenly, I woke up in an unfamiliar place. My memory is fuzzy, and everything seems different. My hands and back are covered in blood. I have no idea what happened. The person sitting next to me provided me with a set of clothes. He smiled and said, “You’re our only hope. This is the only thing that I can help you with.” He then disappeared into thin air, slowly fading away. I started walking around the place after gaining a little strength. As I kept walking in an unknown place, I saw a little girl carrying a basket across the street. There are some strange guys following her. I felt like the little girl is in danger. Based on those guys' reactions and movements, they are about to do something. I followed them because of my curiosity. Across the streets, I saw moving objects with people inside and shining lights on the road. The people were also wearing different clothes from what I was wearing. Most of the people that I passed by looked at me. I tried to ignore them while analyzing the situation. While following those guys, they suddenly approached the little girl and took everything that she was carrying. They also pointed a sharp object at her while yelling. Guy 1: “Tell me, where is your Father? We’ve been looking for him for too long, and he didn’t give our money back!” Little Girl: “I don’t know where he is. Please… let me go.” Guy 1: “No! This will be a warning to him for playing a dumb trick on us and keeping on hiding!” The guy slapped the little girl on her face, and then she started crying. There are other people nearby, but they won’t help. It looks like they are afraid of those guys. I can’t ignore what is happening inside me. It is like something tells me to punish them for their actions. I can’t explain why my body suddenly reacted, while I ran through them quickly and kicked one of the guy’s faces. I knocked him down with my kick and I don’t know why, but it felt like my strength was different compared to theirs. I have no idea that my kick will be able to knock him down. Guy 2: “Hey! How dare you run here and kick my brother? Do you have any idea who we are?” The other four guys come at me while the little girl hides behind me. Little Girl: “I’m scared. Thank you so much for helping me. And I’m so sorry for getting you involved in this.” I said, “Don’t worry little one. I can handle this.” to calm her down.” While I’m looking at the little girl, one of the guys that I am facing started to move. He throws a punch, but his movements were too slow. I can see through them. They all started to become pissed off and wanted to assault the little girl hiding behind my back. “You’re a coward. You only wanted to face people that you think were weaker than you.” I was able to knock each one of them down when I attacked them. Even though I only use a little bit of strength just to be able to make them unconscious. The little girl held my hand and told me to run after her. After a few minutes of running, we arrived at a house where I think she was living. She wanted me to enter the house and said that she wanted to introduce me to her family. My stomach created a weird sound, and I don’t know the reason why. Little Girl: “Oh, you’re hungry? Thank you so much, Mister for helping me out there. I can’t thank you enough so I want to introduce you to my family, and also give you some food.” I don’t know how to respond to that question because I have no idea why my stomach is creating that weird sound. Little Girl: “By the way, Mister. My name is Luna. What is your name?” “I don’t know. I can’t remember my name.” I replied to her. I can’t tell her anything about me because I don’t know anything since I came to this place. This time, I’ll be able to gain some information if I stick with her while recovering my memories.
