Elijah's POV:

I wake up with... Amanda? Nancy? I don't know but I wake up with someone on my bed. Don't get me wrong, I want a mate but that doesn't mean that I can't have fun. I mean, every guy has needs! Especially me since I am an Alpha wolf which means my emotions are stronger.

I get Nancy's arm off my waist and shake her ungently since she knows that this was just a one night stand.

"Baby, what are you doing?" She asks and tries to hug me but I push her away

" I'm not your baby, now get the f**k out of my bed" I say bothered

"You'll see, tomorrow you will be down on your knees begging for my attention when you realize I'm your mate, I'm the future Luna of this pack! You should be more careful." She says with confidence while I scrunch my face in disgust at the idea of her being my mate since she slept with more than half of the earth's male population. This is the second time I sleep with her and I already regret it! Mornings aren't my favourite part of one night stands since every she-wolf thinks they changed and I magically fell in love with her. Especially Nancy but she is just so easy and when I'm frustrated, she... helps me out.

"I don't give a f**k cause you aren't my mate. Now get out Nancy!" I say angry, you can see that I have a temper...

"It's Nadya I-" She looks at me and understands that I'm serious and quickly grabs her things and heads out. I get out of bed and shower quickly. I head to the kitchen where my mom, my dad and my 12 years old, little brother John are, eating their breakfast.

"Goodmorning!" I say as I walk in, my mom walks towards me and hits the back of my head, you could see she was mad

"Okay, I deserved it" I sight

"Deserved it? I should cut off your d**k but I'm not doing it for your mate! I can't believe it, tomorrow you will be able to finally meet your mate and you are still sleeping around! If your dad was like that I would probably reject him!" My mom rambles and Damien (my wolf) and my dad growl when she brings up rejection. You see, werewolves aren't open to the idea of rejection since it will be like splitting your soul.

"I know mom, I'm sorry, I swear, when I meet her I'll stop I'm sure!"

"I know son, I also know you will be extremely sorry" Mom says giving in.

"Now, let's have breakfast!" Dad says

"We have to talk about two things. First, John, what happened yesterday?" Dad continues

"I don't know... she just had such a good voice so I stepped forward to be able to listen to her." He says

"Wow, you risk your life just to hear some girl singing. I raised such a smart boy." I hear dad mumble a little bit disappointed, and John ignores him and continues.

"But then she saw me and had such a funny reaction when she saw my wolf, she was like 'I'm going to die in the hands of a cute wolf'" He says blushing a little bit, clearly embarrassed that he got caught

"The-then I pointed m-my head towards th-the ph-phone that was still playing music since I wanted her to continue singing but she just started rambling about what a phone was and I wanted to see her face since her hoodie was up so I walked towards her and put her hoodie off her face. She was so pretty! An-and then... mom came." John rambled blushing even more when he called her pretty.

"You shouldn't do that, she's a human! You scared the poor girl and I don't even want to imagine what would happen if you found a rouge instead of a little human, you don't know how to defend yourself, I mean, you just shifted!" Mom says as John looks down ashamed

"Okay and now, the Andrews family moved back here, Mr Andrews finished the contract with the Gold Moon Pack. The alliance was forged." Dad says with a serious face since this was Alpha business.

"The Andrews kid is around your age Elijah but he hangs out with humans, just be nice to him" Dad says in a warning tone as he knows I'm not a friendly person.

"I will Dad, now I got to head to school, bye!" I say and head out.

I had Science as my first period, Nadya tried talking to me but I ignored her, I wasn't in the mood. Don't blame me, she knows that I only want s*x and if anyone is using anyone is her using me because she wants to be the future Luna.

Liam, my future beta walks towards me with his mate Sara and Peter, the future Gamma. We both head to History class, the teacher is also a werewolf and is kind of afraid of me since I am going to be the Alpha in 2 days. I use the fact that she is afraid of me to my advantage so the teacher lets me talk and do whatever I want during the class. I spend the entire class talking to Liam about turning 18 since he already experienced it. My wolf grows, mentally and physically, and he will be able to find his mate! I'm going to be the Alpha, going to find my Luna!

After class we head to the canteen, we start eating when the Andrews kid comes in walking hand in hand with the hooded girl, I don't know why but that makes me jealous, maybe because he got the girl that no one could have, I don't know why I feel that I mean, I've never seen her face... Everyone is talking about her, calling her slut and w***e. I don't know a lot of things about her, I only know that she's:

-Human because she isn't part of the pack and doesn't smell like a rouge,

-A girl cause I heard her talking to some boy and he called her Em so her name must be Emma or Emily

-One of the few girls that don't try to get with me

-either in a relationship or gay... there is also a small chance she is just not interested in me but I don't think so...

I am brought back to reality when I hear the Andrews kid yelling

"Oh Er, where is the worst host in the whole world?"

"Xavier" I hear someone yell, must be the kid, Er... Er? What kind of name is that, I mean... His parents must hate him. Why do I even care?!? He is good looking, has blonde messy hair, blue eyes, he looks like a jock.

The guys hug and the hooded girl- Em gets caught up in the middle.

"Can you believe Em was the host here!" They continue talking but I lost interest. I start checking out Em, you can't see her face and that makes me curious and wonder why doesn't she show her face, maybe she's just really ugly. But then Xavier asks the question everyone is dying to ask

"We'll see! Now, I'm going to ask this question why is your hoodie up, like are you being bullied?" Xavi asks

"No, I just don't like being the centre of attention" She lies, she is a good liar, her heart doesn't start beating faster, she kinda looks him in the eye but if you pay attention you can see that she started playing with her fingers behind her back. I'm looking at them when Liam snaps his fingers in front of my face

"What?" I ask annoyed

"You weren't answering and were staring at Xavier and the humans" Peter explains

"No, I was just thinking about the party tonight, I'm finding my mate!"

"And losing your freedom." Peter adds, he is also a player and doesn't want a mate. He says he likes his freedom.

"But a mate is the best thing you could have" Liam says looking lovingly at Sara. I look at them and I want that, sometimes I'm jealous of them, they have such a strong relationship. I hope my mate and I are like that.

The bell rings and we head out since we don't have any more classes today. We start getting the packhouse ready for the party. My parents and the other adults aren't home neither are the children since they said that they wanted to give us the house to ourselves. The packhouse is a mansion, my family lives there, the beta family, and the gamma family. The Andrews family should live here since they are the delta family but since they hang out a lot with humans they live in a house in the pack territory like the rest of the pack.

It's 11 pm and people are arriving, I'm wearing a black t-shirt and jeans, my hair is messy like it usually is. I'm hanging out with my friends and I think every unmated she-wolf is hoping that I'm her mate. Around 2 and a half Xavier and his human friend, Er, walk toward us.

"Happy Birthday!" Xavier says

"Happy Birthday!" Er slurs, he looks drunk and smells like alcohol.

"Xavier, let's congratulate him the right way, let's play some beer pong!" Er slurs

"I'm down" Liam says

"Me too!" Peter says

"Okay" I say agreing

We start playing and Eric ( I found out his name) was super drunk.

"I bet this party is some distraction, you see, Elijah is just trying to get some random girl in his bed, I don't even know why I mean, he already slept with everything that has a v****a. I'm surprised he doesn't have any STD" Eric say

"Er, stop!" Xavier warns him knowing that even tho these words are expected since he is drunk but since I'm an Alpha it insults my wolf and at the smallest threat he attacks

"Why, he has everyone following him around like, what did he do that was so important? Sleep with Nadya? Amanda? Clara? I'm really glad Em doesn't know you! " He says, at this point, I'm pissed off, and a bit confused, like what does the hooded girl has to do with this?!?

"Stop" I simply say as I'm about to lose my s**t, what does he know about me? He is just some stupid human

"Oh, I'm sorry your royal highness" He mocks and tries to bow but is too drunk to do it

"I said stop"

"Why, the truth hurts? Are your followers going to kill me because I offended their King?" He continues.

"I'm terribly sorry, please spare my life! I support your kingdom of w****s, I even think you will end up marrying one of your sluts, that way you already know each other if you know what I mean." I start to shake since in some sort of way, he mentioned my mate since she is the only person I will marry... My wolf is fighting for control, I know my eyes changed colour because Eric's eyes widened.

He opens his mouth to talk but is cut off by my fist colliding with his face. I punch him again and he falls to the ground and gets up. Tomorrow he will have a swollen cheek and a black eye. I lean down since he is 6ft 2 and I'm 6ft 4. I grab the collar of his shirt and say

"Never mention my one night stands, now get the f**k out of here!"

I stand there looking at him and he looks at Xavier who grabs his phone to call someone

"Hey Xavi, it's everything okay? You just interrupted my Peaky Blinders marathon!" The other person asks I think it's that Em girl... And Damien starts getting restless. I want to smirk when I hear her annoyed voice, she must really love Peaky Blinders- Focus Elijah

"Hi baby..." I don't like hearing him call her that. Damien won't shut up and is starting to give me a headache.

"What Xavi?" She asks annoyed

"Yes, uhm- Er kind of got in a fight, I was wondering if you could come and pick us up..." He says quickly

"I'm on my way!" She says angry and ends the call.

"You are dead" Xavier says as he looks at Eric who just looks terrified. I feel a little bit angry I mean, he wasn't that scared when I punched him. What does the 5ft 3 girl have that I don't?

After waiting awkwardly for 10 minutes we see a hooded figure walking towards us, you can see that she is pissed by the way she stomps her feet. My wolf is getting even more restless, I think I know who she is, I just need to look into her eyes to confirm it!

She stands in front of Eric who looks like he is about to piss his pants. One of my pack warrior is nearby and I mind link him.

'Harry, take her hood off, no questions asked'

'Yes sir' He responds

"Let's dance!" He says, grabbing her waist.

"No thanks" She says trying to contain her anger

"Come on but first let's see that pretty little face of yours" He takes her hoodie off and hugs her from behind. Everyone gasps as they see her face but she isn't paying attention, she elbows him in the stomach making him lose his grip on her, she turns around and kicks him in the balls making him lean down and put his hand in the place, he looks up.

"Get the f**k away from me okay?" She says dangerously low.

All the guy can do is nod and run away while still bending down.

'I'm sorry Harry, go grab some ice' I apologise

'It's okay, but I must admit, the girl can fight!'

She then turns around and looks at Xavier that is behind Eric. Eric seems to sober up after that.

"Horny boys" She mutters to herself

"Hey, babe" Xavier says. My wolf gets angry, I think he knows what she means to us. I am just happy she isn't mad at me.

"Don't you 'hey babe' me! We decided at 3 am, it's 2:45! I could still be drolling over Thomas f*****g Shelby but no! You decided that you wanted to help Eric get into a fight!" A growl leaves my lips when she says that and I hope she didn't hear me.

She sounds like a mother. I use this time to look at her face, well her side profile... She is gorgeous, no, scratch that, she is breathtakingly beautiful! She has black hair, and pale but still tanned skin, I just want to see what colour her eyes are!

"If you are going to get mad at someone get mad at me." Eric says trying to be brave but everyone could see that he was about to s**t himself

"Mad? Oh, I am way past mad, I am furious!" I am younger than you but it still looks like you are younger! What would you feel if Eddie did that to you huh? You would never let him live that down! I don't give a f**k if every girl will sleep with you but, next party, you are walking home!" She says and then turns towards us making me able to look at her beautiful green eyes with bits of blue close to the irises. And if I didn't think she was mad... By looking at her you could see that she was mad. Mad was an understatement, she burned everything with her eyes.

"Mate" Damien says and everyone starts looking at me making me realize I also said it.
