His mate

Emma's POV: Beep Beep Beep I wake up with the annoying sound of the ala- "Wake up my tiny ugly sister." My older brother says "Get OUT!" I yell the last part as I throw him a pillow. "Someone is grumpy" He mutters as he catches the pillow, throws it back at me, and leaves my room. "Remember Em, you can't kill him, well... at least without a plan." I mutter to myself I walk out of my room to the attached bathroom, take a shower, get dressed, I'm wearing denim pants and a black oversized hoodie. I stand in front of the mirror, my brown hair, my green eyes, and my tanned skin. I stare at myself, seeing if out of nowhere my small a** grew up, if I became prettier but... nothing. "Emma, breakfast" I hear my mom calling me from the kitchen "Coming" I answer I walk down the stairs and enter the kitchen, my mom is cooking while my dad is hugging her from behind with love in his eyes, my brother Eric is making his "throw up" face as he watches our parents demonstration of "love", I just sit down next to him and say "Goodmorning my dear family" I grab an apple and say "Goodbye" and plug my earphones and walk to school. I'm listening to "It's my party" by Lesley Gore when I enter the school I don't bother to take the earphones off my ears since no one is going to approach me. Don't worry, I'm not one of those girls that hates everyone but when you have good looking brother people only want to be your friends so they can either date him or be his friend. My brother makes girls droll with his blonde hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin, he looks like a male version of my mom while I'm a female version of my dad. I walk in my history class, sit in the middle row, next to the window and stare at the sky, I love watching the sky, at night when the sky is full of stars, the sunset, and the sunrise since it's early the sky is a normal blue colour with some clouds. The music "Clouds" starts playing. The teacher came in and started talking about Boston Tea Party, the 4th of July of 1776, class ended and I headed to the locker room since I was going to have gym class. I hear people talking so I take my earphones and listen. Being a "lone wolf" has its perks, you start to become good at reading people, and I know every party, every argument and every relationship. "I swear, Elijah is so into me" I hear Nadya's annoying high pitched voice say. Nadya is the head cheerleader and the school's slut. She thinks she is going to be, Elijah's, the school's player's girlfriend. I feel bad for her, everyone knows he doesn't do relationships. "OMG, you are going to be the Luna! The pack is so lucky to have you." Says one of her minions, I think it was Rose but I don't know and I don't want to know. I don't even understand what she is saying, Luna? Pack? Must be some sort of inside joke, I don't care. I get dressed and head to the gym, I pass one of the labs and there is the one and only Elijah Jones eating the face of some random girl, they don't see me, but I do my copy of Eric's "throw up" face. After seeing that I don't feel like going to gym class, but I can't, even though the teacher won't notice I ditched, Eric is in this class. He is a year older but I skipped a year so we are both seniors. So I suck it up and go to the gym with a scowl on my face, even though no one can see it since the brown hoodie that I use for gym class is covering my face. Suddenly, he walks in like he owns the place, his black fluffy hair and his grey eyes that make everyone get lost on, his sharp jawline. For a moment we make eye contact but I look away, remember Emma, you don't want to be the centre of attention and you certainly don't want to be his side chick.  After a while class ends and everyone heads to the canteen, I head to the locker room, change clothes and head to the canteen with my black hoodie still covering my face. If I'm being honest, the only person in this school that has seen my face is my brother.  I take my lunch and sit on a bench that is on the school's entrance, plug my earphones and started. After I eat I stare at the sky with "Where is my mind" from the Pixies playing, my dad was the one that showed me this music, he was playing it on the guitar and he taught me how to play it. I smile as I remember that. After school I head to my place, my place is placed in the woods that has a lake with crystal clear water, I found it one day after Nadya tried to bully me but I stood up for myself getting a little bit too much attention. I stay there listening, singing and dancing, I sang "Mamma Mia" from ABBA. As I sang a wolf came out of a bush, it was the size of a normal wolf but it looked like a pup. It was male, it had gold eyes and red fur. "Just great, I'm going to die in the hands of a cute wolf." I mutter under my breath. The wolf takes a step towards me and I take a step back. The wolf c***s his head to the right and I c**k mine to the left. He nods his head towards my phone so I look down to say  "It's a phone, humans use it to talk to each other, they can call, text or even play games. We also have social media but I don't think I can explain it to you... I use my phone to listen to music and sing, I was actually listening to music and singing along to the music before you came, but then I stopped 'cause I don't like to sing in front of other people because I get nervous. Talking about nervousness, did you know that I ramble when I'm nervous? And I... I'm rambling, sorry"  I look up and the wolf is looking at me like it is about to laugh... I'm crazy. The wolf starts walking towards me and my dumb a**, instead of running stays there... "Please, don't kill me, I have a family, I won't be missed at school but I want to move states for college, don't take that away from me" I pout under my hoodie. The wolf looks at me and then licks my hoodie off my face so he can see me. "Are you serious, you want to see my face while you eat me?" Then a woman comes from behind a tree, she is out of breath, she has red hair and familiar grey eyes, she looks at the small wolf and runs towards hugging. "Axel! You are in so much trouble, no more runs for you for one month and no more TV for John" The wolf starts whining and then walks towards me and starts rubbing his head under my hand like it wants for me to pet him, I'm still confused, what does poor John have to do with it? "Axel" starts rubbing his head with more force and as if he is mad at me for not petting him. The woman is shocked and when I start petting him he starts to purr?  "H-he le-let you p-p-pet hi-m? She stutters "Ye-yeah, he took the hoodie off my face and then you showed up" I answer "I can't believe the only person that can touch him that isn't a part of this family is a human" She mutters under her breath, but I wasn't sure she said that or something else "Excuse me, what did you say" I question "I was thanking you, they- he ran away from our house and the whole family was looking for th-him" She answers. "Oh, your welcome I guess and good luck." I say as I walk home listening to "Happier Than Ever" from Billie Eilish I walk into my room, shower, dress my Rapunzel hearts Eugene PJs, do my homework and then I head downstairs for dinner.  Eric is already in the dining room and after some time mom and dad walk in with dinner. we are all eating pesto pasta, it was a normal dinner, after that, I walk to my room, on the way I pass Eric's home and I hear him on the phone "Tomorrow I will pick you up and then we go to Elijah's" Oh yeah, tomorrow is Elijah Jones's 18th birthday party but his birthday is the day after tomorrow. I think it's because that way he can spend the next day with his family and his hangover. What a great day tomorrow will be... not!
