Mr. Richard woke up and found a way out of the office, but he couldn't make it as David blocked the passage with his hand while his knees were on the floor. He quickly used his body to block the passage to make sure he didn't leave and go out unsettled. Richard stopped his legs and found a seat. Okay, what do you want me to do? Rechard asked. I want money from you, not necessarily from the bank. My wife was in danger. She is my strength and that of the family at large. "Being the head of the family, I must find out where to get the money and rescue her for the betterment of our children," David said in tears. oozing tears keep coming down his cheeks with the utmost grace. The place remained silent for a while after Richard tapped on his shoulder and intended to help him back to his seat. David stood up and got seated. I can give you the money under some circumstances. Firstly, you must include all your belongings, including the house in which you're living, if you refuse to pay back on the stipulated date. Secondly, the money must not exceed one year from today. Thirdly, if all the aforementioned were not included, your daughter… Yes, Jessica must be my wife. "You can send your account details if you agree with the agreement." Richard said while smiling at David, anticipating what would come from him. A long sighing was made by David looking up and down, falling into a stream of imagination. An imagination that brings undenied confusion and doubt. An increase in pulmonary circulation was recorded to more than estimated in the dear mind of David. Considering what would come from Jessica, he nodded his head twice and replied with yes. Telling that he agreed with the agreement. And finally, the deal was accomplished under the agreement. After the exam was concluded, ladies and gentlemen were signing out shirts around the compound. Their faces are in a state of utmost happiness and joy over their accomplishments. It's a joy that every graduate prevails on such a day. Laurence is already outside, waiting for Jessica. After a while, she took a look at her hanging around the compound. A sign that indicates she is looking for someone Laurence stood up to go directly to where she was standing, as she knew she was the one that Jessica was looking for. After they met, Jessica asked her to visit the hospital so as to keep an eye on Lydia's condition. Without wasting any more time, they reached the hospital where Mom was hospitalized. It's with the utmost disheartening that Jessica places her hands on her head, her eyes filled with tears with the expectation of coming down cheeks in seconds. What she has seen is what has increased the tears. Laurence asked her to have a seat, as she's malingering right there. She held her body and helped her get seated since she understood that she would not listen to what she was saying until she found herself on the ground. Laurence asked her, "What's this crying all about?" I think mom needs prayer from you only." You know, your cry will not provide relief for her condition or even solace for your mind. Can't you even ask where Papa is, as we didn't meet him here? Jessica kept her head down without giving a response to any of her questions. Amelia moved closer and held Laurence's hand while moving the hand closer to her chest. It's the fastest lub-dub sound that keeps coming out of the chest. Laurence identified. It was unexpected that Papa just opened the door while Amelia wanted to know where he was. He found them both in tears, struggling to find solace in their minds, but seeing Mama down is what's triggering the situation. He sat down and asked them all to listen properly, especially Jessica. Lydia needs oxygen to survive, as you can all see, and doctors need money to give people oxygen. And you all know how I'm suffering from a financial crisis. I tried my best to get a loan that I could refund in the coming years, but I couldn't. Unless Richard, the managing director of our bank, gives the money on an agreement, God is so kind; I paid all the money before coming here, and care will continue to be given as appropriate. Wow! God bless you, papa, for your struggle. The shouts together on Thanksgiving What was that agreement you collected the money on, Papa? Amelia asked. "The agreement is with Jessica. What? Jessica said while standing, surprisingly wanting to rehearse what he said. Yes Jessica. Richard wanted to marry her as the substitute was the loan given. And this is an important sacrifice that you'll make for us. Look at your mom in bed, struggling with her life. Look at how we're living our lives. Take a look at your sister, Amelia. She has to study further until you're in college, but we stopped her from going because we don't have enough money to cater to all your needs. This is why we asked her to stay at home until we finished. Look at how I have been selling my properties to pay for your own school fees. Half of your belongings have gone to your study. And now I have nothing to offer. In such a life, what was my other choice than to arrange your marriage? Or should I give out the whole building in which we're living? What would be more suitable between them? Papa asked in expectation of a reply from her. He just wanted to convince her all the way to understand the advantage of the arrangement. Jessica stood up and walked out quickly. Amelia and Laurence follow her and call her several times without response. They moved their feet sharply and reached her outside the hospital. Laurence held her right hand and turned her back to the hospital, but she refused to A wooden chair seated in the corridor of the emergency unit under a big, planted olive tree was sighted by Amelia, who talked to Laurence with a finger pointing to the place. She is telling her that they should move there since she doesn't want to get to dad. After they both sat down and asked for her reason for coming out, she told them that she didn't like it. She hates Richard. In fact, she has her own love, and they were together for five years. "We made an agreement that we will get married when I finish school, and Papa is aware of this." "He promised that he would not leave me forever. I do too." Jessica said. Why has Papa done this to me? Why has he chosen to give me out to whom I never loved to hear his name? Why has he chosen this arrangement beyond the other options given to him? Does he really love me? Jessica repeated it in tears. He loves you, Jessica, which is why he chose you to rescue mom out of the illness, Amelia said. No! Amelia. He never loved me. If not, why hasn't he chosen you instead? Do you even have a boyfriend? Answer with no. Jessica said, expressing her anger limitlessly. But have you ever told Papa that you have been apart for a year with your boyfriend as a result of misunderstandings that were going around? Amelia said. Yes! It's true that we have experienced some misunderstandings, but we're not close to each other's hearts. Jessica said. And you have to tell us when you come back together and the reasons so that we will know what to tell Papa to convince him to stop the arrangement. Amelia said It's when I came back from Los Angeles, after we had a long holiday. We met at Central Plaza, where we usually meet and buy ice cream. I spent about ten minutes going around and picking up some important goods that I could present to you, papa and mama, as a welcome gift. After I had all my belongings intact, I moved my legs with the intention of taking a step out of the plaza, but unfortunately, I felt so meone's hand on my shoulder, holding it tightly to the extent that he stopped me from moving anywhere.
