Veronica's POV:
Seeing Alpha Leon dismiss my older brother made me scowl, but I held his hand and followed him into the jewelry store.
I knew that I didn't have the card to shop for the type of expensive jewelry that Mia had bought for her mother, and that made me sad.
My father had refused to give me a personal bank card, as he said that until I turned 18 years old, I wouldn't be able to have such a privilege in the pack, yet Mia had it all.
It irritated me to see that Leon was taking Mia's side, but hearing him say that she was only going to be his stepsister after the wedding relieved me too.
"Let's go, Leon. Have you both a present for your dad's and my aunt's wedding? Or are you only concerned about shopping for a gift for Mia?" I asked Leon as I walked into the store with him.
