Tuesday morning, Aria woke with slightly less anxiety than the day before. Day one was behind her. She'd seen Victoria, survived it, sat through jury selection and made it through. Today would be opening statements, with the prosecution and defense each laying out their version of the case. Tomorrow or Wednesday, she'd testify. She was taking it all one step at a time. They arrived at the courthouse at eight-thirty AM, avoiding most of the media by using the side entrance again. The reporters were there, but fewer than yesterday.
