Krystal
After what feels like hours of sleep I wake up to a very concerned looking Kathrine.
“You’ve been asleep for a while.” Kathrine said.
I smile apologetically at her. I decide to ask her if Dylan has said anything and if she’s figured out who he is. She shook her head no.
“He seems very mysterious. But he did check in your leg a few times.”
“That’s good?” I asked.
“You don’t think so?”
“I just don’t know if he can be trusted yet.”
“That’s fair. I’ll talk later, I’m going to go find some food.” She said.
She knows how I feel about others looking for food. I’m always scared they might get caught. But before I could argue she was gone. After a few minutes Dylan walked in.
“Oh good, your up. I was beginning to think you’d gone into a coma.” He says sounding pretty concerned.
I just shrugg. He must sense I don’t trust him.
“Hey. You know you can trust me.”
“Can I really?” I asked. “I know nothing about you.”
He seemed to consider this.
“Well I promise that when you good enough to walk we’ll talk, and I can tell you a few things about me.”
“Just tell me one thing now, at least.” I said.
“It’ll make more sense later, everything about me is a lot to take in.”
I sighed. I tried not to think to hard. I felt better then a few days ago but my leg still hurt a bit. It didn’t take long to fall asleep.
John
Since it was already really late I decided to go to bed. It took longer then I’d like it to because I was stressed about loosing my position. The harder I tried the longer it took. Eventually I stoped trying and fell asleep. I dreamed of a time my family was together.
Hahah. I hear my sister laughing as she once again beats me in a game of hide and go seek.
“Kids.” I hear from he house. “Lunch is ready.”
“Race ya.” I yell at Krystal.
“No fair you were closer.” Krystal said as I win, but there is laughter in her eyes.
I smiled. I loved my family dearly. If anything was to happen I’d always be there for them.
Suddely the dream changed tones.
“Krystal. Where are you.” I yelled. We were playing hide and go seek again. And she was doing better then usual, I was about to call I give up when I see her.
She steps out her hair covering half her face, and she has a missing hand. I must look surprised because she says,
“You did this to me. All that talk about being first in command. You burnt down the building I was in in hopes to capture me.”
I trie to deny it. But she kept going.
“My hand was lost as a knife was swung around…”
She then disappeared.
I jolted awake. I had tears coming down my face but I payed no attention to them, after all it was just a dream. A silly little dream. It meant nothing. Besides I wouldn’t kill her just capture her, that’s it. I sighed and realized it was early in the morning. I quickly got out of bed and continued my search for Krystal, pushing the dream out of my head and forgetting all about it.
