“No!” Tessa cried. “Alpha please…I would never. I-I was wrong! I didn’t mean to disobey you!” She pleaded.

Tessa began to cry as she begged Adrian for forgiveness, but my hearing was getting muffled. Like I was in a fishbowl.
I felt myself be pulled from the ground. For a moment, I was weightless. I couldn’t feel the pain I had been in. I heard Tessa carrying on for a bit longer before my vision totally went black.
A jostling movement slowly brought me back to consciousness. My eyes were still shut, but I could feel my fingers and toes moving. That was a good sign.
