Who are you?

As I’m approaching him, I realize that his face is even more beautiful than it was before. Just as I was about to touch his soft cheeks, I heard some kind of a screeching. I opened my eyes and realized it was my alarm. I was so angry that I wanted to throw my phone into the wall, it had to ring just now. And I was finally making some progress, even if it was a dream. I dreamed about him every night and the fact that those dreams were only dreams was really disappointing. As I was getting ready for another boring school day with no adventure in it, I suddenly felt really sad. I guess it was because of the dream I dreamed. I got so lost in my own thoughts that I forgot to put on my clothes. Ten minutes later, Sam sent me a message saying she’s waiting in front of my house. When I opened the door, she started smiling hysterically and that confused me very much. “Look at what you’re wearing, you dummy” she said when she managed to stop laughing. When I realized that I’m still wearing my pajamas, I felt so fricking embarrassed. I put on some clothes quickly and went out, so that we won’t be late. When we came into the school, the hallways were full as always, and then I saw him. Kris Mintel. Perfection in a guy. I lost my breath when I saw him, and Sam quickly dragged me away so that I won’t collapse. I had a crush on him ever since he moved into our city and started going to school with us. That was around second grade in middle school, and I haven’t look at another guy ever since. I know a lot about him, he really likes dark clothes, animals, he’s an average student and he likes horror movies and books. I’ve been trying to talk to him for years now, but every time I would manage to get close to him, I got scared and just walked past him. Around the time he moved here with his family, two high school boys disappeared, and they were never found, we were very little then. He rarely speaks to anyone and he doesn’t have friends, it’s like he doesn’t need anyone and is happy the way things are. I am an excellent student with straight A’s, and sometimes I wondered how I manage to get A’s when all I think about is him. After our class finished, Sam and I went out fast because we wanted to go home, but the hallway was really crowded, and we didn’t go as fast as planned. Some two jocks were playing around their lockers and one of them bumped into me and knocked me to the cold ground. Then he started yelling at me for bothering and touching him, and it wasn’t even my fault, it was his. One moment he was bickering, but the other he just shut his mouth and I saw fear in his eyes. I didn’t understand what he was so scared of, so I looked up above me. And there he was, my savior, the only one I want. He offered me his hand to help me stand up and asked me with his deep voice if I’m okay. “I-I’m okay. It’s nothing” I stuttered. “Alright then” he said, turned his back on me and walked out of the doors. This was the first time I spoke to him, and I was still in shock. He has such a nice voice, and he smells really good. I wondered if this was the start of something new, a start of accomplishing my dreams.
