Miles’s POV
“I thought I told you, I don’t want to see this woman anywhere around you ever again!” he yelled, his breathing quick and heavy. I ran toward him to steady him before he collapsed to the floor.
“Grandfather, are you alright?” I asked, panic rising in my voice, but he didn’t answer. My heart began to race. “Call the doctor, Bianca!” I shouted, and she quickly called for help.
“Grandfather, please stay with me, please stay with me,” I pleaded, fear slipping into my voice. He closed his eyes, and for a moment, I thought the world had stopped. But then, he opened his eyes again, and I felt a wave of relief.
“Miles, I don’t want that woman here,” he said, his voice weak. I looked at Bianca, who stood frozen, her face pale with fear.
“Bianca, please leave now,” I said in a calm
