Daphne’s POV I let out a soft breath, sinking a little deeper into the couch as I stared at the curtains fluttering from the breeze. For the first time in a long while, it felt like things were beginning to settle. Reynold had finally listened—really listened—and left the country to begin treatment. It wasn’t easy, but he did it. And I was proud of him. This was what I wanted for him all along. Healing. “What are you thinking about?” Miles asked as he stepped into the room.
