Leone dragged Vivian out of the bar to its backside and then, he let go of her hand. Turning around, with a murderous gaze in his eyes, he asked Vivian, "Did that bastard ask you this before too?"
"Why do you want to know? I don't understand why are you after me. Because of you, I lost my job," Vivian shouted at him while looking at him with disdain. Tears streamed down her cheeks. It was the unluckiest day of her life.
Leone clenched his fists and held her firmly by her shoulders. "I saved you inside. Can't you see that? You will find better places to work than that place," he affirmed.
"You are the one, who made my life hell. Save me?" Vivian chuckled at him. "You weren't supposed to involve in my matter. Whether I sleep with someone or not why do you even care?" she questioned him.
Leone's jaw clenched, and his wolf asked him to tell Vivian she was his mate. So, of course, he would get angry when men like Blake would eye on her.
'No. I don't consider her my mate. Until the project finishes, I've to bear her. I cannot let anything happen to her till that time,' Leone told his wolf.
'Leone, you are a fool for denying this pull. Fine, do what you wish,' his wolf said and turned quiet.
"I care because..." Leone was unable to find any right explanation. Suddenly, his phone rang and he found it was from his mother. "Wait here," he said and answered the call.
"Sure," he hung up the call after listening to his mother. Shifting his gaze at Vivian, he told her to find another place to work. "I'll drop you to the dormitory," he offered.
"I don't wish to go with you," Vivian said sternly and walked past her when he caught her wrist tightly.
"You are going with me." Leone didn't let her go alone and despite her protest, he brought her to his car, which was still present at the front of the bar's entrance.
Vivian got alerted seeing the people around her. By now, she was aware that Leone would not listen to her.
Ziva appeared out of nowhere and pronounced, "Leo! You cannot declare a human as your girl."
"You didn't keep my warning in your head, right? Stay miles away from my sight," Leone said and gestured to her to move.
Ross quickly pulled Ziva out of Leone's way and the rest of his friends glanced at Leone with strangeness. Blake, on the other hand, was fuming in anger. He wished to punch Leone dead right when he cursed at him. But because he wasn't a mere beta, he knew he would get submitted in front of Alpha Leone's power.
Leone and Vivian were now inside the car. He drove out of the bar and went straight to the hostel, where Vivian used to live.
Their entire journey went in silence and finally, it came to a halt. Vivian quickly exited the car and ran inside her hostel, without even looking back at him.
"How can she treat me like that? I don't even give a glance at girls like her. But I saved her today. Isn't it inhuman?" Leone muttered.
'You were the one who treated her badly all this time,' said Leone's Wolf.
'Will you stop taunting me?' Leone asked his wolf.
He started the engine and drove to his house.

Vivian stepped under the hot shower and ran her hands through her hair. Tears streamed through her cheeks and she looked at her hands, which were still trembling in fear.
"They are all bad. How can they even harass me like this?" Vivian murmured as she closed her eyes. Blake's terrifying smirk would come in front of her eyes. All this happened because of Leone. He was the one, who told everyone to treat her badly.
She turned off the shower tap, wrapped a towel around her body, and stepped out of the washroom, using another towel to dry her hair. As she turned towards the cupboard, her gaze fell upon a figure, causing her to startle in fear.
Before her, Leone was standing.
"H-how did you get into my room? It is a girls' hostel," Vivian stammered, her hands instinctively clutching her chest. She felt rooted to the spot, unable to move, as if her feet were glued to the floor.
"Your medicines. You forgot them," Leone showed her the envelope. He turned to the door when Vivian stopped him.
"Thank you for what you did in the bar. I'm sorry," she apologized. During the shower, Vivian realized that Leone did save her from Blake, despite the fact he had a bad boy personality.
"Hmm."
"Did you come through the door? Do you even know what the others will think about me?" Vivian asked.
"I came through the window. I will go from there only. I wanted to check something," Leone stated. He found Vivian now standing behind the chair, trying to hide herself from him.
Leone chuckled at her reaction, finding amusement in teasing her. He strode towards her purposefully, enjoying her nervousness.
"Stop right there!" Vivian exclaimed, her eyes blinking rapidly. But before she could react further, Leone was already standing in front of her. With a gasp, she took a step back, only to slip on the smooth floor.
Leone acted quickly, catching her just in time and pulling her into his arms.
"Let me go!" Vivian demanded, feeling intimidated by the sudden closeness between them.
Leone leaned in closer to her, and Vivian instinctively leaned back, feeling a mix of apprehension and curiosity. His breath brushed against her ear as he whispered, "Your body doesn't excite me, Viv. So, you don't need to feel shy around me."
Vivian's eyes snapped open, meeting his gaze. He was smirking, and she realized he was simply teasing her. A sense of relief washed over her.
"You can use my name if anyone tries to bully or trouble you," Leone added, releasing his hold on her waist. His attention then shifted to her phone, which lay on the desk. He picked it up and asked her to unlock it.
"Why?" Vivian questioned, puzzled by Leone's sudden request.
"Just do it," Leone insisted.
Reluctantly, Vivian entered her phone's password, ensuring that Leone couldn't see it. He swiftly snatched the phone from her and added his number to her emergency contacts list.
"Call me if you get into any trouble from now on," he instructed, before vanishing from her sight in the blink of an eye.
Startled, Vivian rushed to the window and peered outside, but Leone was nowhere to be seen.
