Chapter 6

"Back on earth, I roam this corridor everyday, if I don't visit the president's cottage, I won't rest well." She admitted. "Why is that?" He asked, skeptical. Her story may be very weird, he was going along just to be in her pants, but what if this woman was the president's concubine, or the president's child? And if their universes are really parallel, then she's his sister or father's woman. No f*****g way, no way, that can't be. "I had taken a liking to one particular boy in the cottage, the president's first born son." "So in this parallel universe of yours, you were in love with me?" He asked with a smirk on his face. "No, it wasn't love, I just liked spying on him and making him very angry about it, he made my days, he understood me, and who I truly am." "And what is that?" "When I was six years old, we took a long unauthorized trip into the Borhan forest with the so called Prince of Earth. We disappeared for days, and the country was in a frenzy about it. The president was uncontrollably scared. But we were fine. You see, on the first day of our travel we met an old woman, who knew the whole forest. She took uss hiking. On the third day she pulled me aside and inspected me like I was a price he couldn't believe she had." She smiled. "Didn't your parents not teach you not to follow strangers to unknown places." He asked. "They did but this woman was no stranger to me, she was always in my dreams, asking me to look for her, and that day, I looked for her, and the Prince knew I was looking for her. She looked at me and said, 'Child, this isn't the time, but I'm afraid we'll need you sooner than expected. Find Kai Ja Din, he'll need you.' Jakes body rose from the chair before he knew he was on his feet, and was holding the woman he intended to f**k like he wanted to kill her, only he didn't, he wanted her to open her mind and see what she knew about Kai Ja Din, he wanted to know. He tried projecting his power into her mind but he was faced with a barrier he'd never seen before. 'How do you know that name," he thundered. 'I just told you, the old woman told me." "You are lying, only one person knew that name, my grandmother, and she died a very long time ago. A very very long time ago, that's how I know you are lying. Who told you?" "She did, MariaBethan told me." She whispered, her eyes rolling, she was loosing consciousness. He let her go suddenly and she fell to his feet and looked up at her. "You are Kai Ja Din, " she stated. Jake nodded and looked at her, she too could not believe what had just happened to them. They were destined to find each other, Jake was destined to fight a huge war that would claim everything dear to him and his people, and she was to help, in ways they both didn't know yet. It was her, his mother had informed him of his mate, not being a common woman, and she truly wasn't. Their mating had began, their union is to be sealed in a few hours, faster if the elders knew their long awaited Princess was finally here, and even faster if his mother knew she was here. Then he heard her, as annoyingly loud as ever, she was on her feet, and she wasn't slowing down. "Katie, you are my mate, whatever happens, just know, I'll treat you good, forever." "What do you mean?" She looked freaked ou now, ready to run. Jake held her by the shoulder and pulled her to stand. As he was about to explain, his mother, father and half the clan elders strode into his living room, all yelling. "Kingdom of Kai, prepare for a wedding tonight!" His mother announced. At least they get two hours.
